My baby loves it and makes him happy then 5 stars it is!My 10 month old son loves it! It was delivered to us during nap time but as soon as he woke up we turned it on and gave it to him and he was all over his new toy. This toy rolls well without any problem in the area rug we have in our living room and rolls even more on the wood and tile areas of our home. Like always VTech offers great quality and durable toys. Great buy! 5Doesn't roll on carpetThis doesn't roll on carpet which was disappointing since it's supposed to move to motivate babies to crawl. The toy yells "catch me, catch me if you can" and then swirls around and stays in place. It also yells out things like "I'm a red cat" while stationary even though you aren't pushing any buttons, all of which is pretty stupid. I was going to return it but my baby does like it for the sounds, buttons, and movement. The turtle on top swirls around so babies will not be able to resist the urge to grab the turtle. It makes a sad clicking noise while it's movement is being thwarted by little pudgy fingers is still holding up. For how long remains to be seen. 3VTech toys are the bestMy son was born preemie and has been a little slow with development so I have bought 4 tech toys at this point (9 months) and they have made all the difference. Each one made him interact and gain new skills faster than all his other toys combined. This particular toy has gotten him to reach while on his tummy. He s had it since 6 months and while he hasn t crawled yet, he has seemed to gained motivation to move towards this ball because it engages him. For the money, it s excellent. Our daycare has one and says it s always been a baby-favorite. 5Great toy!Such a great toy! My 8 month old baby gets bored so easily with toys but she loves this one! And when she moves into something else, the ball starts making noise to get her attention again, so she never seems to get bored! And this toy is educational as well so it will last well into her early years! It teaches numbers, colors, animals, and has games to play! Well done, Vtech! 5A real spinning flop:/Bought for my granddaughter, box was damaged and not wrapped, but still secured to the bottom, so thought I would try it out.... turtle spins loudly, when it spins! Does not play all the songs noted in pamphlet, bird works only occasionally, if your supposed to be able to touch numbers???they don t work at all!!! Did what directions said and took out batteries, even replaced with new...still not working like listed or according to video I watched on utube!!! Was looking forward to using it next week:( 1I like my vtech wiggle and crawl balli have autism and like a 8 year old I like the bright light on I like red cat on it and I like bule dog and White Rabbit and like the green Turtle how moves round the ball like how rolls round my bedroom and the blue light and like the green light and like red light this good for my autism 5Good only under supervisionI thought i liked the idea of this product so bought it . It would be good only under supervision. I returned it . A baby who is only learning to crawl could get hurt if not carefull . The turtle/ tortoise on top rotates and can hit the head , eye . Another reason for returning was there was shapes and numbers on it but only song for numbers and the bird wouldn t work , which probably was for the shapes. 2It's Okay at bestToo bad the baby is not leaving the review for this toy as she may give it 5 stars. From a parent perspective, this ball is quite heavy which is not a problem until your baby decides that she wants to lift its awkward shape over her head and cannot support it weight and comes crashing down. The little turtle on the top that spins, presumably to give the ball some centrifugal force in order to spin it around does not really work. She tends to grab the turtle while it tries to spin and the ball just clicks and sounds like it it breaking on the inside. You can't really roll the ball around either as it has buttons that prevent it from rolling smoothly. All in all, its okaaaaay but does not warrant a 5 star in my opinion. 3Battery died quicklyBe careful that your baby is ready for the ball. I say that in terms of the baby being afraid. Because of the random rolling, my son was very afraid of the ball. He loved it without being turned on for about 2-3 weeks. Then we turned it on but held it in place so it would not roll. Once he got used to that, he loves it.The battery died quickly, within 2 months, and we didn t use it very often because as I mentioned, it scared my son at first. The buttons are rather stiff/sticky. But a baby likes slamming things anyway so it s not much to worry about if you have an aggressive player. 4Cute, but has an annoying and loud flawMy 8mo old LOVES this ball, and it does everything it says it will do, but something annoying about it is when my baby grabs and holds the little turtle on the top, that spins around in a circle, you hear this loud, obnoxious clicking noise, since it's trying to move but it's being held in place. Despite her doing this, it hasn't stopped working, but it's very loud. 4
