I ordered two - one for the 5 yr old and one for the 8 yr old. My 11 year old niece liked it so much that I ended up getting her one as well. It's very well-made and feels professional. The ribbon is very long - I offered to cut it for the 5 year old, but she can still use it (and likes it) as-is. I played with it to try it out - it's a lot of fun. I got both the blue and the purple, the purple seemed to be the preferred color - but that is subjective and didn't impact them wanting to play with it. 5Great quality ribbonMy daughter's dance studio sells these ribbons for $24. Thank God I found this one cause it's so much better in quality and price. I also got it super fast in the mail. I will definitely shop more with CSI Cannon Sports. 5Great For church worship dancersi got these wands for junior kids to use during our worship time. They have a designated area to stand in and they love to sing and dance during our worship time in kids' church. 5Simple, great activity toy!For a less than $5 stocking stuffer, this was the gift that the kids played with the most! Really fun to watch them dance around and get out some of that cooped up winter energy. Even if these fray or break (which they haven't), they are worth it! The ribbon will probably need to be replaced at some point, but easily detaches at the top. Super happy with this little purchase. 5Awesome productMy 11 year old daughter loves this wand. And it's holding up well, which surprised me! 5Perfect for my Rhythmic Gymnastics ClassI bought these CSI Cannon Sports Rhythmic ribbon sticks for the Rhythmic Gymnastics class I teach. These are my preferred brand, they hold up far better than any of the other, cheaper brands I have tried. They are still going strong after 1 1/2 years of use with no significant fraying. The clip attaching the ribbon to the stick seems less likely to break than other brands, although I did have one break and had to replace it. The sticks are sturdy and long enough for an adult or older gymnast (should be approximately the length of your arm) 5A professional gymnastics ribbon a kid can useWhen I unpacked the ribbon I was disappointed. It was so long! I thought I must have bought something designed for an adult or a teenager but when I started testing it, I understood that it was long for a reason and it's extremely easy to make waves with. The way it attaches to the stick makes is very flexible in motion. In less than 3 minutes I was able to use it very well making all kinds of patters. My daughter, 2.5 years old, loves watching me using the ribbon and when she tried she was able to make pretty patterns and waves as well. I can't say she is crazy about it and plays with it all the time, but the product quality is great and I am sure she will play with it more as she grows. She goes to a toddler gymnastics class and they use a gymnastics ribbon there but this one is so much better and so much more fun. A great product. 5
