"Look that up in your funk and Wagnalls" became a national slogan after this show premiered on April 1 1968. The network was understandably concerned that the name of the dictionary be carefully pronounced, but the cast had great fun playing with the suggestion that if anybody didn't understand anything, they should look that up in their F-F-F-F-Funk and Wagnalls. On April 22, 1968, Flip Wilson introduced the cast to Geraldine, Mod World looked at electronic matchmaking as Barbara Feldon appeared as a very horny Planned Parenthood Poster Girl and then explained her job in the Burbank Cantina as a "taco tucker". Tim Conway is an outer space Noah and one of the highlights of the program is "Laugh-In's" tribute to Ernie Kovacs.
