    He loves it!This was perfect for my 15 month old grandson. 5Poor life - pegs lost easily and wear holes biggerGreat toy! I wish the pegs didn t come out of the board completely. This toy has given us cause to play seek several times to ensure all the pieces are found. The pegs get loose in the hole over time so the plastic peg nearly falls through the wooden hole without needing a hammer to get it their. This toy is under a year old - I feel this would be helped with slightly different design of the plastic peg. 4Looks to be of good quality and had good ratingsOrdered this as a gift for my 2 year old grandson. I hope he likes it as much as Moma did when she was his age. 5The pegs remain in the holes, like they should.Although this is a toy for toddlers, older children are drawn to it too! (And in that case, the noise level from the hammering can be annoying to nearby adults.) When toddlers hammer, the noise is not bothersome---sounds more like distinct tapping.The construction is excellent--very sturdy (didn't break even when accidentally stepped on by an adult.)I would pass up all other versions of this "cobblers bench"--and pay a little extra for this one because of the quality. It will survive several children (as long as the wooden mallet doesn't get lost), and could even be handed down to another generation. Yes, it's that nice. 5Five StarsGreat well made toy! I bought this for a friend's kid and he immediately loved it and was carrying it around with him everywhere. I wish the pegs were wooden like the good ol' days but these plastic ones seem to fit nice and tight in the holes. I chose this particular one because it does not contain any toxic materials.
