    Missing a piece...I loved this picture and bought the puzzle for my mother for Christmas. She loves birds and puzzles so this was perfect. I was so disappointed when she called to tell me there was a piece missing. After she spent the time putting it all together. I emailed the company and they said that they could not help me, as each puzzle is cut differently. I will never buy another puzzle from them. Too bad, because the colors and firm pieces are very nice.What bugs me is that if I had bought the puzzle at Walmart or some other store, they would have refunded my money or given me another puzzle. This company won't make good on their own product. 3Colorful First-Class Fun!I returned a different puzzle from another maker and hoped this Ravensburger would be better. It is! The colors are deeply vibrant and gorgeous. The puzzle is a low-sheen gloss, so it's easy to see while assembling. Puzzle backing is stiff, blue cardboard, which makes pieces snap together crisply. Piece shapes have just enough diabolical ones to keep things interesting. Once assembled, the puzzle "pops" with beauty and charm. I usually give my puzzles away after making them, but I'm keeping this one for awhile. It's first-class fun. 5Great Quality, Cheery PictureMy mother and I used to work on jigsaw puzzles together during my winter school holidays. I hadn't put one together in more than 30 years, but after Mom's death, I suddenly started thinking about jigsaw puzzles again. That said, it was missing one piece. Since we wanted to frame this one, I ordered a 2nd one hoping to have a complete puzzle. No luck...it was missing the same piece. Okay, three times a charm....ordered the third one. Yep missing the same piece! Do yourself a favor and pass on this puzzle, at least until the manufacturer corrects the problem. Take a look at my photos 2Very colorful puzzleDisappointed in the quality of the image on the puzzle. The picture on the box looks okay, but when the image is blown up to the puzzle size it lacks resolution, making it difficult to match the pieces.The colors are bright and puzzle pieces certainly fit together nicely and are of good quality card material. The packaging was good and the box nice and sturdy. Compared to other puzzle manufactures Ravensburger needs to improve the image quality (based on making two different puzzles). Also many puzzle companies provide a nice large fold out glossy picture of the puzzle that certainly helps. Note, I have found Buffalo to have better quality puzzle images and include nice glossy pictures. 3Ravensburger Puzzles are the BEST!This is my 9th 500 piece Ravensburger puzzle that I have purchased within the last year.. Eight of them have been from Amazon because local stores don't carry them except for Hobby Lobby (and their supply is very limited).. Ravensburger puzzles have spoiled me. I love the pictures and the quality can't be beat. They are so well-made and the pieces interlock. When you open the box, the pieces are bagged so no pieces can get accidentally lost while opening. I have never had a piece missing on a Ravensbuger puzzle. I love puzzles, but have not done them in years. Thanks to Ravensburger, I am now addicted! 5I'm definitely sold on Ravensburger!This was a really fun puzzle to complete with my 90 year old grandmother.The pieces are cut very well, they fit together nicely, and the colors are beautiful.We had a little bit of trouble with the background because the colors repeat throughout, but it was a nice challenge.I wasn't sure if I should get the regular-sized pieces or the larger-sized pieces to accommodate my grandmother, so I bought one of each. We found the regular size was easier overall because the larger ones didn't stay together if you "tested" one piece for fit and then pulled it away.Overall, I definitely recommend this brand of puzzles. 5Great Quality Puzzle!I just finished putting this puzzle together... it was fun and the colors are brilliant. At only 500 pieces, it took me 3 days just when I had time to sit down, and I am so pleased with the quality of it that I am going to use a fixative and hang it on my wall. It is a cheery kind of puzzle to brighten up a dreary day. Each piece is about the same shape and size and, unlike a lot of cheaper puzzles, the jigsaw parts do not start peeling apart when trying to remove them to reposition them somewhere else. I love this puzzle!!! 5Not the easiest puzzle.Pretty colors, but for a 500 count the majority of the pieces are small compared to most puzzles of this size. That being said it's hard to see patterns when forming the perimeter. Sorry I didn't see reviewers point this out. If your eyesight is lacking this puzzle may cause a bit of frustration. I like a challenge but not this type when initially putting a puzzle together. 3
