I can't imagine anyone thinking these are going to be a great product for kids. As an adult I'm struggling to move the hands. These will not last long; will bend or tear off soon. I should've spent more money for plastic ones! 1Can't effectively move hands(Wife): I'll put it to you this way: I'm an adult, and even I could barely move the hands. My advice: get the Time Activity Set with the geared clock, cards and games, and then make your own clocks with movable hands. I purchased this set for $7.99 and the starter set for $15.88. The starter set comes with 24 student clocks and 1 teacher clock. I knew I would have 25-26 students, so I had to purchase this additional set. I wish the starter set either came with 25 clocks OR that they would offer a smaller additional set with 5 clocks instead of 10.
