Customer Reviews

Amazing DiaboloFirst off, I got the black color of this. With that out of the way, this diabolo is amazing. After using a friend's Sundia Fly Short Axle diabolo to learn the basics, I bought this one for myself.I was really wanting a good diabolo, but I didn't have enough money to buy a better, more expensive diabolo at the time. I told this to my diabolo-ing friend, and he advised me to wait until I had more money and buy a good one. He had bought 3 Mr. Babache finesse diabolos, and he advised me to get one of those. Once I had more money, I took part of his advice and got this great diabolo, but I did not get the Finesse. One of the reasons I got this one instead of the Finesse is because I had practiced on one of his Sundia Fly Short Axle diabolos. I had already learned how to balance the Sundia Fly Short Axle and accelerate it with whip thrust, so I got this Long Axle version of the Fly so that I could do stick grinds. This one is a bit more advanced, and harder to balance than the Short Axle, but because of the long axle, you can do stick and finger grinds, which you can't do on the Short Axle. Now that I have my own diabolo I've learned the "Chinese Suicide" trick, among others. Also, the Finesse is a fixed axle diabolo, but the Sundia Fly is a one way, ball bearing axle. This means that the Sundia Fly has a longer spin time, making it easier for beginners to learn tricks on it. Also, I think that the Fixed Axle Finesse requires more technique. This could be good or bad depending on what you are looking for. The downside of the ball bearing axle, I have read, is that you can't do the String Climb (Elevator) trick. My friend has told me that what diabolo you get is really a matter of personal preference. I suppose once I get better I might buy a Finesse. For now, though I am perfectly content with this one.So in summary, if you are looking for an awesome, one way bearing diabolo that can do grinds get this one. If you are just beginning diaboloing, take my friend's advice. Whatever diabolo you get, aim for quality so that you can excel at your skills.Diabolo Stats:Very Durable Plastic Cups. Not rubber, more plastic than rubber, but a nice mix. I tossed it probably 50-75 ft. up in the air, and missed the catch. The diabolo landed on grass, and it works perfectly, no obvious damage at all. Though I would be more careful when using it on concrete, because it could get scuffed up pretty quick that way. Also, the cups do not deform when the diabolo spins.Mine came with wooden sticks and string. I hope to get some better ones sometime, but for now they work just fine. Also, the diabolo speeds up quickly because of the ball bearing axle. 5Amazing DiaboloFirst off, I got the black color of this. It's balanced and is great for some of the harder tricks. My friend is really good and he recommended this product. 5cooli love the way the barring spins one way learned many things the way you can throw it is amazing. 5Diablo YoYoWe purchased the Diablo for our child's 5th year birthday and even though he is just learning how to use it he enjoys it very much. The yoyo is well constructed (good spin) and well balanced so that even a 5 year old beginner can use it and begin improving coordination. Overall, this is a fun, yet moderately priced gift for five and up. 5Five Starsson loved it 54 starsNot too much in terms of decorations. Plain Jane product for sure. The string supplied is good quality. I had to sand down the sticks in fear of getting a splinter. The yo-yo itself is a high quality product! Spins for a really long time so you can perform many tricks. So aside from the looks of it, this is a great performing product. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. 4Great.This is pretty good. It's sturdy, strong, and fun to use. Mine has a few scratches on it, though that is expected from the heavy usage. 4Simply excellent.Just adding my two cents to the reviews here. The bearing is smooth, great stability, and I've had a white one for years that still works great. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone. 5too expensiveit is way too expensive for that kind of quality. i think for that kind of quailty, $19.99 will be more reasonble. 2
