Customer Reviews

Jumbo blocksThese blocks are awesome! Our four year old son plays with them for hours. We bought the 96 piece set and additionally bought the 48 piece set so he had enough to build "a house". His imagination has ran wild with these blocks and I highly recommend them. They do take up a lot of space but we just build a house for him in his playroom as a means of storing them somewhere. In the picture, that was built with just the 96 piece set. 5Great for different ages!Wow, our grandson's ages 4 1/2 and 2 LOVE to play with these blocks! We bought multiple sets. We have made a fort, a coffee shop, a throne, ninja warrior obstacle courses, etc... These big blocks helped the 2 year old to learn how to put together the smaller "legos' better :) Definitely worth it! 5Great for my toddler! He loves them, so do I! Hours of fun. These blocks are awesome. My soon to be 3 year old LOVES them. My 10 month old loves them as well. My 3 year old can stack them easily and take them apart. He has no issue with placing them together and will play with them for hours. They are very strong and I am able to build "roads" and walk across them with no problem as an adult. My son loves using his imagination and uses the blocks to build so many fun things.Definitely would love to get more in the future.Great product! 5Outdoor blocksMy grandson and granddaughter ages 5 & 3 respectfully loved the blocks. The fact that they can be played with outside is wonderful. They are sturdy and hold up well when building. Even their grandfather enjoyed them and they spent hours playing! 5Excellent BlocksI have spent many hundreds of dollars on these blocks and think they are great. First saw them at a local children's museum and have since purchased several of the 48, 96, and one 192 block sets. The only difference between the sets (other than the number of blocks) is that the larger sets come with more, and larger, plastic windows. My son (turned two recently) has been walking along, climbing up, and crawling through my creations since he could move. He can now usually pull the blocks apart himself but can't always push them all the way together. These are durable enough to hold the weight of a 160lb adult and I've even made bridges I could stand on by sliding several sections of PVC pipe through the holes.I highly recommend the blocks but be warned - no matter how many you have you'll likely think of even more amazing structures you could build if you had just a few more blocks! 5simple family funYou can't go wrong with these giant lego-like blocks. We already have about 800 combined from various size sets. Endless possibilities and best of all no batteries needed. It is well known the educational value of blocks - these just put the learning on a larger scale. I would think these would be good in preschools. Different aged children can actually play together. Must mention that adults love them too..... may be more so than the children.Details: There are many more big blocks (forty 4x8 inch blocks) than smaller ones (eight 4x4 inch blocks). 4 colors: red, yellow, green and blue - which are slightly darker than what appears on the computer screen. Firm yet slightly bendable hollow plastic blocks with no sharp corners or any choking hazards.Watch the little ones with the high structures as towers tend to inevitably fall over. Also, children will always try to climb up on their creations. 5Cool product though a little priceyI find that these were a little pricey for what they are...molded plastic blocks. But, I guess toys really are at a premium these days. I thought these would be fun for my toddler for Christmas '12 when he was 18 months. He isn't a very independent player but he will play with them if I help and go along with it. He loves when I make like a wall with windows to peek through etc. They are fun and quite large. You'd need more than one set to make anything fort like etc. They are durable and all are in the same condition I purchased them in after 10 months of play. I feel like he might play with them more as he gets older. They do take up quite a bit of room. Overall, a neat product! 4Endless and ageless fun!My two boys live these legos. I was hesitant at first to get them cause they aren t like the soft ones at LegoLand, which was why at first I was interested in them. But thank goodness that they aren t cause my kids can do so much more with them. My kids are 1-5 years old. Great toys for all ages! 5My Favorite Group Gift for the GrandkidsOh my gosh! What a hoot. I was originally looking for the little tykes giant waffle blocks for Christmas, but they were sold out. And THEN I found these Jumbo Blocks. My grandkids love legos and these work just like giant legos. If you have the space and can afford it, though, I recommend getting a set with more blocks. Kids can build plenty of structures with the 48 piece set, but sometimes they just have 'bigger plans' in their imaginations and often 48 blocks is not enough. Great group gift for kids or to keep at Grandma's house. In-home daycare might find these entertaining as well. Now, here's the bonus for me...they are AMERICAN MADE! LOVE IT.UPDATE: Still a favorite toy a year later. I got my grand kids an additional set of 48 this year for Christmas, so they could build more structures. They play with these block in so many ways - to build forts, chairs, walls, and they make tunnels for their train tracks...it's only limited to their imagination and the number of blocks they have. Also, now that they have 96 blocks, I am amazed how compact they stack for storage in the corner of the room in four short towers. These blocks are just the best for creative play. 5Good but watch outThese are sooo fun, we currently have 48 & definitely need a lot more. I'm buying 48 more for Christmas but that still won't be enough. Right now with 48 we have enough to build a tower or one wall if the wall has spaces in between but watch out because if the wall falls it could hurt someone. The wall was about 39" high. The blocks actually hold together well and if u shake them they will not come apart. They are really easy to pull apart though so my toddler can build on his own. I'm think you will need atleast over 96 to build something good 5
