    Love the roller textures. Not sure why there are so many knivesMy 3 year old loves to play with play doh tools at preschool. They have a mix of plastic and wooden tools, so I decided to get both for our home over summer break. This is the wooden set I chose and I'm very happy with it.My daughter lots to make textures with the play doh rollers. They have a nice weight and are easy to roll out.I'm not sure why there are so many knives. There's one with a notch in it and two that are almost identical except for the orientation of the end points. I'd rather have a stamp or another roller than a bunch of knives that are basically the same.Other than that, the kit comes with a nice, wooden box that we can store the tools in. I love that!! The tools look very different without the packaging...the plastic packaging makes it look like the box has lots of tools. In reality, the tools don't fill th box. I uploaded a photo so you can see what I mean.Overall, these have been a very good addition to our play doh kit. Easy to use and easy to clean! 5My boys love these tools!My mother purchased this for my 3 year old son for Christmas and he has loved it as well as his 7 year old brother. The 3 year old does not use the colored sticks for texturing the play dough as they were intended, but they are instead used to make holes. With these tools the boys will sit and play with play dough for an hour or more. 5Sturdy tools - kids like themWe bought this for playing in kinetic sand, and the kids really like them. They also use them as weapons periodically, but I'm sure no one else's children would ever do that. They are high quality and durable. We have played with them quite frequently and no problems. 4Good quality- could use some varietyMy son plays with this all the time. He loves play dough. It s well made. It loses a star for me though because of lots of the same things in there. Not exactly the same but enough to go ok why do we have 3 sticks and 3 rolling pins and 3 of those other pieces. I d like to see more cookie cutter type things and just more variety. Changing the color doesn t really change what it s used for. On the same token though- this could be looked at as a bonus too though if you have multiple kids wanting to play with the same thing. 4BlehI bought this for my 3 year old nephew and he thought it was cool, but I m disappointed. The main reason is because the pizza cutter thing sucks big time and that is what I was most excited about. For one thing it doesn t even roll, it stays in the same position because it s screwed on too tight or something. But even if it did roll it woudnt cut through play doh anyway because it s not even a little bit sharp. It just squishes the play dough and makes it get stuck all over your table. If I could go back in time I would look for a set that at least includes one rolling pin with NO design and Maybe a few different tools. This set basically has three sets of the same tools. Maybe I ll design my own set and sell them on Etsy or something. It will have two rolling pins with designs, one smooth one, one pizza cutter that WORKS, two of those stick tool things, two of the design thingies, and some cookie cutter shapes. This set sucks! 2Great first set of tools for Paydough!Great selection of play dough tools. We got this for our 18 month old and it has been a hit. She will even play with the tools without the play dough.! Each tool is very sturdy, and will certainly be a set you can pass on to siblings later. Even her older brother who is 6 enjoys playing with these tools when playing with play dough. Would recommend it as a child's first set. 4Great Christmas present for small childrenThis is going to be a fantastic Christmas present. My granddaughters love playing with clay and this kit has all kinds of implements to work with and they are just the right size for their small (3 year old) hands. A good variety of design tools is included with easy roller handles.Very good value, I bought this on sale and with an Amazon coupon. I personally wish I had not bought them, because I've seen other tools for clay and dough that are more useful for the money. I see my child reaching for other tools and cookie cutters and using her own hands more often than these tools while playing. I think it was a wasted purchase. Also, they are all too similar to each other. All you need is about 2 of them out of the entire collection. I give 4 stars for the quality and because they are wood. The wood has a sealer but not in the grooves. 4Sturdy and funLove these solid wood play dough tools. I ll echo a sentiment that others have mentioned- I wish there was a rolling pin without designs/patterns on it. Otherwise we love it. Everything works as it should and my daughter enjoys using it with her homemade play dough. 5Sturdy, wooden dough toys - perfect for little handsWe love this set so much, we bought a second set. The toys are well made. I love that they are made of wood. I try to avoid plastic toys for my children, so this set was a great find. They are perfect for little hands to grip and hold up to the occasion drop. We love these dough tools and highly recommend them. 5
