    Hours of Fun!!We love Alex Toy Little Hands Crafts. We added multiples of them into our craft box. My 5 yr old has enjoyed not only making them but playing with them as well. It's great quality fun with kids when they have to be indoors.The box includes everything you need. It has the paper plates, large glue stick, easy pop out pieces and stickers. There are 5 different ones included. The instructions are easy to follow with picture type instructions. My 5 yr old was able to follow the instructions on his own just by looking at the pictures. Thank you!! 5Cute Travel FunSuch a cute arts and crafts set. It was perfect for traveling with my toddler! The box comes with everything you need inside and kept my kiddo busy for over an hour on a long plane ride. Only downside was the glue stick. While you would seemingly think it would make things less messy or dry quicker, glue sticks are fairly difficult for toddlers to use without getting everything, including themselves, super sticky. I think a tiny bottle of quick-drying liquid glue would have been better and easy to manage with a little one. 4Love the idea, but kit is lackingMy child is 3-1/2, so I was looking for an activity that she could complete independently while I attended to my baby.I haven't tried any of the other ALEX projects, but I found this one to be lacking. Each bug project comes with pipe cleaners, popsicle sticks, pom poms and buttons that are supposed to be attached with a glue stick. Unfortunately, the glue isn't strong enough to adhere these materials.Each project also comes with a sheet of stickers, but my daughter struggled to peel them from the sheet, and instead they just "popped" off with the backing still attached. As a result, I had to sit beside her, peel the stickers, and use either tape or a stapler to attach the components. She didn't get to make the bugs herself because it was too complicated and defeated the purpose.While she was disappointed, I am going to order another of these ALEX project boxes to see if we have better luck. :) 3What FunI bought a couple of the Alex craft packages to take with me when I was fortunate enough to get a call requesting that I watch my grand-darling for a week. She will be 3 in Feb. and we had a great time working on these together. I approached these as a bonding experience and had no expectations that she would be able to put them together perfectly without a great deal of help from me..she was able to identify the pieces we needed and where to place them but the actual assembling of the item was a little harder to accomplish (she loved the glue stick). Buying the glue dots is a must for these crafts...it allows you complete the project without waiting for the glue to dry...I let her use the glue and I put down the glue dots for reinforcement. The quality of this item was outstanding..each craft was individually packaged, well made and colorful....would buy again without hesitation. 5Wow, was amazed at how much was included with the kit and it came with a glue stick that really works!Super awesome craft kit. I got this out one day after Christmas and was thinking I hope I have some glue around the house. I was amazed when I opened the box how much was included and it came with a glue stick that of greater quality (thicker). The glue actually works. So far, we've made two paper plate bugs. The designs shown are great and easy to do or you can be creative and come up with your own. Lots and lots of items included to make different designs. 5Great kit with everything you need!Great set. My 3 year old son loves crafting. We can sit down and I have everything I need. Love that! I m not crafty and this is perfect for us. I don t have to go out and buy anything additional.However, the only issue I have is it comes with things that are hard to attach using a glue stick. Like the puffs and buttons. You have to put an obscene amount of glue on there and then not touch it for days... which is hard for a 3 year old. It comes out cute but I wish it was just omitted. 4Perfect for rainy days!Anyone stuck in the house on a rainy day with toddlers knows the importance of having crafts on hand to pass the time! These are my favorite brand. They have 5 projects per box and the $7 investment buys me 6 hours of occupied toddler time! And here's a little FYI- the completed project makes excellent coasters for wine glasses cause recycling is important. 5Frustrating and low qualityThis was horribly frustrating...most of the accessories (like the buttons and eyes) need to be glued on and they just don't stick. The plates have to be glued together and they also don't stick. I ended up having to get the scotch tape and using huge amounts on top of the eyes, buttons and other parts (which looked ridiculous) to make all the pieces stay. I had three kids ranging in age from 4 to 12 working on this and everyone was disappointed. The instructions are extremely limited, so you have to just guess how to do it. I would have preferred a box of higher quality (self stick please!!!) items that could be mixed and matched as the kids imagined. They love to be creative, but this set just made them all frustrated. 2Whole lotta fun in this box!Purchased for my 4 year-old grandson who is right now big into crafting things. This box kept us busy for a whole week! The materials included are nice quality, and just the right amount, which is to say we didn't run out of anything and we didn't have too many leftovers. The instructions were fairly easy, but we could have used some more coaching on how to use the adhesive strips provided. We didn't understand the difference between stickers and sticky adhesive strips and dots right away, so ended up using some of our own tape in places, and we probably would not have had to. BUT, the results were big and bright and bold and beautiful! 4 year-old could do almost everything by himself, but Grandma hovered so his 2 year-old sister could help do a few things too, and because the projects were just plain fun! These were great to display because they turned out so well. They would make a wonderful activity for a kids' party. Definitely recommend! 5good valueThis kept me and my almost 4 year old daughter busy over a hour. However for some of the projects the glue stick just doesn't cut it. A glue stick and buttons just don't work. We used hot glue gun for some of the pieces. (Buttons, pipe cleaners, Popsicle sticks ect. ) Over all for the money it's a good value. My daughter wanted to tackle all of the bugs one after the other. We got through 3 1/2 of them before she had enough. She probably would of stay more entertained if we did just one or two then went back later instead of trying to complete the whole box. 4
