    Product is great!These flutes are great! My one year old and my 3.5yr olds love them. They weren't expensive, they are easy to use and easy enough to clean.Down side: The labels on the flutes are stickers. So if you want them to stay on you need to take really good care of them. Mine aren't old enough to play the songs so the music sheets aren't used, but they love wetting them and sticking them on the tub wall!If they leave the valve at the bottom unscrewed the flute fills with water quickly when submerged and it becomes a fun slide whistle if they blow as the water runs out the bottom. My kids LOVE the change in pitch as they blow!Super great purchase! 5Fun water Flutes!My toddler likes whistles and these were no exception. He really likes to fill them and blow while in the bath. He is only 2 and 1/2 so he hasn't been able to figure out the circle and square fill lines in order to play actual songs, but that doesn't matter...he enjoys using these.I gave it a 4 start rating because the drain system is a bit tricky...the bottom of each flute can be turned and it will separate (but remains attached) to the flute so the water can drain out fully. It is tricky because to get the bottom off I have to usually use a washcloth since the knob is fairly small and it is tough to get a grip on it. 4Fun for the whole family!I originally bought these for a 2 year old's birthday present and my husband didn't know and opened them for our 12 month old daughter. I figured she wouldn't be old enough to figure them out, but it only took one day and she was making music! These have been such a great investment. I have a flute in the car for her to play with, she brings one or two with her out of the bath to play while we get her ready for bed, and she walks around the house playing them. They're fun for the whole family because she likes us to blow into them and then she takes a turn. Always brings smiles to our faces! Makes a great gift, too! 5Good addition to bath toy collectionGot this for my 3 year old to start replacing bath toys. Although I do believe they have spent more time out of the tub attempting to annoy everything in the house. It is a neat little toy. Fill each tube up with water to the different music not line and then blow to create that tone. They will come out of the blue holder and can be used independently. I do wish it had a suction cup of something to keep them stored on the wall or something, but for what it is it has been a good addition to bath time...and anytime when she feels like taking them out of the tub. 4These flutes would be great fun - if they didn't leak!Four of the five flutes leaked very badly at the joint where the clear tube meets the color portion at the bottom (see picture). It was impossible for even an adult to fill, tune all five tubes and then play anything with these since the water leaked out so quickly. The drain cock in the color portion did work perfectly. My four year old grandson loved the idea of this toy and was very disappointed that he couldn't use it. 1Absolutely love this toyAbsolutely love this toy!Not for kids under 4-5 years of age, if they truly want to play the music. Needs parents help for kids under that age. But still so much fun with 2 and 4 year olds!Yes, water gets in and your child might drink it, but thats what parents are for, watch them, supervise them, so they dont.Hang them upside down when done, so it dries completely and you wont have any mold problems.Or brush it off once in a while with a bottle brush for absolute cleanliness. 5These are Fun!These have been a lot of fun for our house.1. There are five of them. One of my biggest complaints - a lot of pieces to keep up with, but doable. The blue piece (at least with ours) is woefully neglectful at actually holding the flutes. I'm considering buying a bath shelf to hold these because they are so wanted during bath time.2. You fill them with water to obtain different notes. I fill them with tap water -- not the bathwater. Ugh.3. They are not that bad in terms of noise -- the harmonica a certain family member bought for the kiddo is MUCH worse (but I digress). And when used in conjunction with the provided music sheets...you actually get a song! Although, this usually is a combined effort between kiddo and the parent supervising the bath that night!All in all - A lot of fun! 4I like how the part you unscrew doesnt fully detach so ...I thought these would attach to the wall & make sound as you pour water in but they actually play certain notes depending on how much water u fill them with.I like how the part you unscrew doesnt fully detach so it cant get lost.It comes with music sheets so u can play songs after filling each to play a different note.Pretty cool concept but my son's only 2 1/2 so he's too young to use them properly - he had trouble blowing into them but he enjoyed trying but only tried the first time he had them...hasnt touched them since but im hoping he'll enjoy them once hes old enough bc despite the disappointment of them not being what i was expecting, still a pretty cool & original concept for a bath toy so my rating is based on its potential & originality vs my sons experience/response to them. 4ALEX Toys Bathtime Fun Water FlutesI purchased this as a Christmas gift for my 5 year old, wanting to give her something new to play with in the bathtub. While she loved the idea of a flute (period, not just in the bathtub), she wasn't so crazy about the idea of having to fill each flute with the precise amount of water required to play the notes on the music sheets. Even when I did the filling for her, she got too frustrated trying to play the very easy songs on the sheets. I think in a year or so it might be more interesting for her, but for now it's just a fun and noisy bath toy.While the bottom of the flutes does unscrew to let water in/out, it does not remove completely. While this is in one way a good thing - the bottom will never get lost, I also see it as a bad thing because you can never really clean inside of the flutes and given that it's a bathtub toy I anticipate that mold will start to grow at some point. A minor detail, but one to consider if you're a stickler for keeping the bath toys super clean.I loved that they laminated the music sheets, and all you have to do is get them wet and stick them to the wall in the tub - a very clever idea on their part.Overall a very fun and cute gift for both boys and girls of all ages - the full range of fun will be most enjoyed by older kids. 4This is the best toy ever--why don't they market it for adultsThis is the best toy ever--why don't they market it for adults?! My husband and I like playing with this at least as much as our 20-month-old daughter. I love that it's easy to use and fun to play with. If I had to do it again, I'd probably just buy the single one. I understand that the concept of buying five at once is so you can play a whole range of notes. We're not that coordinated, though. The tones are really nice and we have fun with them. We hear the tooting of the flutes from the bathroom when we leave for a sec during bathtime. If your little one likes musical instruments then this is a fun addition to the out-of-the-bath instruments that are readily available. (Plus, you can actually use this out of the bath, too. No reason why you can't add some water from the sink!) 5
