Cute and soft! 5Love My HorseOkay, so my review is kind of a story, but for those not wanting to read a small novel, the short review is; I really, really adore this little horsey. It's pretty small but it's VERY well made. High quality! :)For the story;My parents are moving to a new city, and the other day I was helping them sort, by going through the basement and I came across a couple of old stuffed horses of mine. I had gotten them from the Kentucky Derby over the years, the whole, whopping 2 times I've been, and I remembered how much I loved them and how much I played with them when I was a kid. So when I brought them back to my place with me, I decided "Hm, if the tags say they're made by the same company, I should look and see who makes these horses and if I can get another one fairly cheap." I really don't have the funds to road trip to the K.D. these days, but I really wanted to see if the company who made these horses had at least one more of these horses or not.Lo and behold, a quick google search led me to Aurora! I was really impressed by the amount of stuffed animals I found on Amazon. Even though I'm well past childhood and teen-hood, I kept thinking "Oh my gosh I want it ALL!" I found the "flopsies" and this little chestnut horse was the first one it pulled up. It was perfect. I ordered it, and then went browsing to look at all the other ones Aurora has. They have a bunch of pretty horses that are all different colors. I did buy a couple more because I have a new baby niece, and I knew she would appreciate a couple of these horses when she gets older, so I bought two pretty ones for her. Also, Aurora makes a flopsie fox, which is my fiance's favorite animal. If I have the money when his birthday comes, the fox will be next! :)I already had the black one called "Beau" and the red one called "Prancer". This brown one fits perfectly and even though I'm too old to play with them, they sit on my bed like a happy little herd!Thank you, Aurora (and Amazon)! It really is the little things that can make a person happy. :) 5Great toy for kidsI bought this as a gift and thought it was going to arrive like the picture (laying on it's stomach) but the horse is made in a standing upright position. I'm sure children wouldn't care though. Like other reviewers said, this product is small so don't expect a big item. It's more or less the size of an average adult's hand. The horse wasn't as soft as I expected but still soft enough to grab or play with.Overall it's a pretty good plush. I'm sure babies and small children would like it. Unfortunately, my order arrived too late even when opted out of free shipping and paid for it to arrive sooner. I had no use for it by the time it did arrive so I had to return it. 4Not 8 inchHorse is very small. He is made of the softest material and Aurora is just the best. 5Never letting Dad in charge of Pony EVER again...I've never been so happy to see a stuffed horse in my LIFE!! We were at DEFCON1 last night looking for the original "Pony" at Target where *ahem* Dad lost track of him along with the nuk that was clipped to his ear... some heartless name that's not appropriate for Amazon scooped the little bugger up and stole him before we could find him. I basically harassed the Target employees all the way up until this morning by asking them repeatedly if anyone turned in Pony and nuk, I was so desperate to have him back for my baby. No such luck. Then I remembered the name the company gave to the pony (Chestnut). Googled it. The company name popped up for another pony (Aurora) and it clicked in my brain. I Googled said brand and name. Got the genius idea to check Amazon for some two day shipping magic and stumbled upon OVERNIGHT SHIPPING. Yessssss there is a God!! Put that little sucker in my cart for like $8 and happily paid $10 to overnight it right to my door. It went out for delivery in LA at 0630 & arrived at 1030 today. One ridiculously happy baby has her perfectly soft, perfectly plush, beautiful little pony back again at an affordable price and saint like delivery. I almost wept at the feet of the delivery person but they were like UPS. Rang the doorbell and popped smoke so fast I didn't even catch them on the doorbell camera to say thank you. Praise Jesus and Amazon and overnight delivery workers. Total nuclear fallout avoided. It was a rough night last night and nap time this morning. FYI before anyone gets triggered by the importance of Pony: don't. You wouldn't get it. It's a special Pony from Daddy while he was away (and who's also gone a lot) & she's had it since birth (so 9 months). Pony IS that important to us. 5: )These ponies are so soft and perfectly "floppy". My 5 yo daughter has collected several. I plan on handing these out at her pony themed birthday party in place of gift bags. Gonna set up an "adoption center"- saw it on Pinterest : ) 5Small but cuteCute little horse. I bought it for a little girl who loves stuffed animals and stuffed horses in particular. It's really small, so probably not great for anybody over the age of 4 or maybe 5. This was a good price as an add-on. 4This little horse is super soft, well madeMy 8yo asked Santa for a stuffed horse for Christmas and because I try to limit the amount of stuffed animals in the house, I bought the smallest one I could find. This little horse is super soft, well made, and did not disappoint. Well done Santa ;) 5Cute but smallIt's soft, it's cute, but the only way to make this thing 8" is to stretch it all the way out and measure from the outside tip of the front hoof to the outside tip of the back hoof...maybe that's why it's shown that way in the photos. I bought it on sale; no way I'd pay $10 for it. In my opinion, it's not really worth $6, with $5 being closer to the correct value; but I won't bother to return it. 3
