DisappointedI usually love Hape products, but his one arrived with the 2 of the four suction cups warped so they won't hold suction. This makes it difficult for my daughter to move the beads as the whole thing isn't very heavy so moves when you move the beads around. Either better suction cups or a heavier base would make this product great. 2Classic toy, good auctionThis is one my favorite toys for the high chair or for the table. It s good for on the go when we are eating out. The suction is good, just make sure the surface is clean and dry. It sticks to the hard wood floors, to the coffee table (also wood) and to the plastic tray on the high chair. My daughter (10 months) enjoys playing with it and my son (3 years) enjoys teaching her how to play with it. 5Not all beads are woodenOverall a nice starter bead toy. I must say I was a little disappointed to find that some of the beads were plastic. The beads along the green wire (pictured) are all light weight plastic. I think of Hape as a relatively high quality brand and purposefully gravitate towards their wooden toys to get away from plastic. Oh well. This is only a minor issue and in no way affects my daughter's enjoyment of the toy. Just wanted to share in case anyone else cared to know. 4Terrible toy and I now can t return it!I bought this thinking it would last the same way toys did back in my day but I couldn t have been more wrong! You'd think that any toy would be durable enough to get wiped down and cleaned every few days but this one was a mess after only the third time I washed it! The wood and finish are cracking and you can see that bacteria is starting to build up in those cracks. I would not recommend anyone buying this because come on momma s they put everything in their mouth!Not to mention I can t get refunded because I m a week past the return date! What a joke! 1My older daughter had a Melissa and Doug toy like this and we had to throw it away because ...My daughter loves playing with this toy while in her highchair (and out of the high chair too!). As with all the Hape toys we have purchased, this is well made and study enough to hold up to infant/toddler play. We have had this toy for 2 months now and no signs of paint wear or chipping, it still looks new. Also, it does stick well to the high chair, and better than the other suction cup toys we have but she is still able to pull on it hard enough to pull it off the tray. We have been pleased with all the Hape toys we have previously purchased and we are very pleased with this one as well! 5A compact, beautiful toy.My little one has been playing with this in her high chair, since she was 4 months old. She is now almost 8 months old and still play with it at meal times. It has been flung countless times from her chair on to our marble floor & it still looks brand new. The suction base cannot withstand her Herculean force however it does suction on to her chair. It is a beautiful, lightweight toy & she really loves playing with the colourful beads. 4DisappointingI was very disappointed to see this product was made in China. They lead me to believe that it was made in Germany. 1this is a good quality toyAll in all, this is a good quality toy. Not all of the beads are wooden. The ones on the green wire are plastic. The suction cups work well. I do wish my daughter had shown a little more interest in it but it isn't completely unused and she may show more interest later (she is 17 months old now and has had it about 6 months). It just isn't one of her current favorites. Every kid is different though! For the price and quality, this was worth the buy. 5This is sweet. Perfect little size for my little guyThis is sweet. Perfect little size for my little guy; he's 9 months. I love the suction cups... I can stick it to his highchair tray, or to my kitchen island shelf... or the floor. It is vibrant and cute. It looks nice sitting out, and it is also small/light enough for him to pick up and play with. 5Simple fun with colorful beadsSimple, colorful and entertaining for an 18 month old and was quite the hit for Christmas. The little yellow beads fit inside the green circle beads and are fun spin. The loop is fun too for the little one.There are suction cups on the bottom. These are only helpful as one would imagine on hard surfaces and did not work on the rug. But the product is sturdy enough to stand on its own without the suction cups so it wasn't that bit of a deal.Per label: Made in Germany 4
