    Love it, but choose your recipient.I really liked this puzzle. It is a tough one to figure out, & can be frustrating for the impatient person. Once you know the solution, (I found it on You Tube before I gave it to my 13 yr old grandson) it's a very simple maneuver to open it. He passed it around the family & I had to keep saying, "Don't force it or you'll break it!" My son-in-law, after about 15 minutes, finally yanked the end off. He was so pleased thinking he had solved it, but had broken it.I donno. I still think it's great. I ordered one for a daughter-in-law who is a very methodical problem solver. (Out of stock on Amazon, so I had to order directly from provider to get it in time.) I would say, it's a great gift, but choose who you give it to.I obviously would order it again, because, despite our first experience...I DID order it again. 4Great concept, but way to difficult to open. Gift giver has to solve puzzle in order to insert money.Great concept, but way too difficult to open. I have gotten a number of maze and other money gift puzzles in the past. With all of these, there is a slot to insert the money or gift card. What the seller does NOT tell you is that you (the gift giver) have to first solve the puzzle in order to insert the money. I tried repeatedly for days despite having gotten the SECRET from a friend. I finally sent the box with a check separate to my 18 year old grandson and challenged him to open the box. He did. After many tries of tapping it upright, he finally stood it on his knee and continually tapped it until it opened over 20 minutes later. To me, this is way too much work. I don't recommend it. 2even with instructions, two of us could not get it open to put the bill inside. also, one came broken.even with instructions, two of us could not get it open to put the bill inside. also, one came broken. 1Hmmm, Okay but be careful.Probably not typical but mine arrived with the sliding part of the puzzle totally bound up because there was not enough clearance for it to work properly, rather than returning it spent about 20 minutes sanding down the slide and channel so you could open it without using extreme force. The top edge of the sliding part of the case has 90 degree corners that are not rounded and are a bit sharp, I'm still nursing a small cut from forcing the slide out the first time. 3Cheap JunkThis box is not a puzzle like they say. It's cheap wood glued together. The part that slides apart came unglued and fell apart. Save your money. 2Great for teens!I got my 16 & 13 year old sons one each. It was fun on Christmas morning to watch them try to figure them out. It got slightly competitive and was very entertaining for the rest of us watching. Both boys eventually needed hints. (I had to watch a YouTube video to figure it out in the first place. Lol) Got our moneys worth and may re-use the boxes for future friends birthdays. 5poor design and manufacture.I purchased 3 wooden currency puzzles and found 2 to be defective. They are poorly designed and poorly manufactured. The directions say to gently tap the top of the wooden currency puzzle currency to remove the slider. This allows a steel pin in the main box to drop away from a magnet located in the top slider. Then the slider can be removed from the puzzle.One worked as instructed but the other two did not. With the 2 defective puzzle boxes, I had to rap the top of each puzzle box increasing harder, testing after each rap to see if the top slider could be removed. Eventually, the back rail on each box broke before I could remove the top slider.I found;1) the pin In the box was centered, but the hole in the slider was about 1/16" off center.2) the pin slides in and out of the puzzle box very sloppily.3) the back runner is weak and breaks easily because there is very little surface contact of the glued-on rail to the main puzzle box. 1A lot of fun!I had a lot of fun watching the family try to figure these out! Eventually had to tell them the solution, still well worth it.Only 4 stars because one of the slides broke off ( after Christmas was over thank goodness ). But I was able to easily fix it with some gorilla wood glue and now it's stronger then before.Highly recommend 4Unique way to give cash gifts.Loved inserting money for my teenage grandson. It might be a little more difficult for younger folks. The solution was not posted at the address as indicated on the instructions and the instructions were very small print and difficult to read. Some customers may be frustrated by this. I just googled the product for the solution. 5Pin got stuck and box can't be openedA couple of years ago I bought two "Currently Vaults" directly from Bits and Pieces. Even after all this time the mechanism still works flawlessly. It's a great way to give cash presents. When I saw that I can buy these from Amazon and get free shipping, I ordered another "Currency Vault". Upon opening the package I immediately saw that the box contained what appeared to be unfinished pieces where the locking mechanism is. I put money into the box but when I tried to open it the next day, it wouldn't open. The pin appeared to be stuck. My last resort was to break it open and - surprise - the pieces that broke off were exactly the ones that were unfinished looking. Maybe Amazon is selling the low quality seconds or items that were returned? I am very disappointed! 1
