    he was a very happy little boyThis was the #1 item on my grandson's wish list for his 3rd birthday! As you can see in the photo, he was a very happy little boy! These toys are the best made out there that I can afford & he has so many of this brand in his budding collection. Not sure if he will ever be this happy again, lol. Great product with durable parts so far.... 5WOAH...NOW THIS IS A TOY!!Though an insane price to pay for a toy, it will be worth every cent to see the joy on my 3 yo grandson's face Christmas morning. I'm 53 years old and when I opened the box and saw it for the first time, it impressed me...and I've seen many a toy in my lifetime. LOL The reason I decided to buy this particular toy was the customer reviews I read when shopping for a crane to come from Santa. Only the best would do. So far, I'm seriously impressed. I expect this toy to go through several children. Bruder Scania R-Series Liebherr Crane a 1:16 model is decently big in size and quality parts. Although it is an expensive toy but knowing what bruder offers in quality it was worth it. 5If you (or your child) enjoys well engineered toys, this is for you.What a high quality, scaled down version of a real piece of construction equipment.It's tough, operates smoothly, and offers lights and sounds - what more could you want??A nice touch - the crane cable (string) winding handle locks and unlocks intuitively. Holds quite a bit of weight as well.The crane hook is metal and appears to be quite tough and heavy.The plastic extension locks in place securely and does not move until you remove it. It stores on the side of the crane arm.If you (or your child) enjoy well engineered toys, this is for you. 5Parents and Children...Please take turns!I agree with the person who wrote that everyone wants to play with it.We try to help all interested parties by keeping it in a safe place for our children and bringing it down to play with on request.While High-Quality plastic sounds like a mis-nomer, it seems to be true for this Crane Truck.The truck has already seen some abuse and is holding up well to it.It does not feel like a Steel Tonka Truck, but does appear to be very durable.The level of detail is professional and great for purists, who want everything to look original (I intentionally do not mention the dual tires in the rear that are actually a single wheel. Trust me, you would never notice.) 5WOW! 5yo was speechless.This truck is huge! This is our first experience with Bruder trucks and we will be acquiring more. This was bought as a gift for a 5yo boy. Having never seen this in person we depended on all the reviews. This truck is highly detailed and realistic. It is made of plastic but after 5 days has remained intact. In a lot of reviews people have stated that how their kids have quickly broke these trucks. We did take time to show our 5yo and 6yo how to operate this crane. They were very excited and really enjoyed the realism of the crane. They even had a relative show them the appropriate hand signals to operate the crane and almost refuse to move the crane if you don't use the right hand signals. When fully extended the boom reaches over 60 inches so be prepared to have some room. Even the older kids and several adults have been caught playing with this. Hint: don't force anything. If something isn't working or moving then you are doing something wrong. Show your kids how to play with it and you will be rewarded with hours of joy.UPDATE!!! Just wanted to give a 8 month update. This crane has seen a lot of work from building log homes on dressers to moving large loads like the Bruder Bulldozer or GI Joe Tank. Our 5 year old still gets tons of enjoyment out of this crane. So far nothing has been broken off of it. We still believe that proper instruction on toys have saved a lot of destruction. This crane is kept inside and all kids love playing with it. 5Best purchase for a 3 year old crane fanatic!!!My son is a crane fanatic and this was by far the best purchase we have ever made for our 3 year old son. I was hesitant to purchase this because of the price but so far its been worth every penny. The quality is superior to most toys you find on the market. If it can withstand my sons abuse it is a keeper! I must say though it is HUGE! When the crane arm is fully extended its is taller than my son! Love this crane! 5Favorite construction truck brand.We bought this crane because my kids love the Axel and Daddy show. I believe this is the crane they use in some of their episodes. It's mostly metal. I wish it were all metal, but the construction is impeccable and they have an excellent parts warranty. It's not a cheap toy, but this is something that will last a long time. Especially if you have kids who love construction equipment. We are looking forward to getting other attatchments. 5show stopperwhat a wonderful toy! this is truly a show stopper and our son absolutely loves it.much more impressive in person.the lights come with the toy which is a nice bonus.i was a bit hesitant to pay $100 for a plastic toy but it's much more durable and well constructed than anticipated. compared to his other trucks which retail for $20-$30, i think this toy at $100 is a good buy. this crane is definitely 3-5 times as cool and intricate as his less expensive trucks.since our son is 2, we did remove the cable for safety sake but will add it back when he gets older. 5Durable realistic and highly functional toy.Just Awesome construction and attention to detail.One of my sons favorite toys and it's well worth the high price because it lasts and lasts. The attention to detail is amazing and the functionality is so realistic. The best part is that it's as tough as nails and can with stand up to some serious abuse.If you can afford it you just cannot go wrong buying it.Who ever designed this Toy must have had kids and was just tired of buying them junk that failed in a matter of days or weeks.It seems like this was designed and built with so much pride and love for kids. 5
