    No follow up from manufacturer/seller when the product arrives with TORN playing cards.The playing cards arrived with the package with some of them TORN in half. I wrote directly to the manufacturer/seller, received an automated message stating that their toy expert will get back to me. I filled out the form twice. The board is fine enough but they shouldn't advertise that the playing cards are included because they were unusable. 2Sometimes a refund is just as good.My board missed inspection:1. The hinge groove was cut too shallow so the open board teetered on the hinge and did not lay flat.2) The peg holes and printed pattern were misaligned so the holes were on the lines, rather than in the lanes.But hey, maybe you'll get a better one :) 2Does the job for the price.Worth the seven dollars I paid for it. Wouldn t go much higher. Doesn t look real durable. Enclosed instructions are not sufficient to learn the game. Need a guide book. Couple kindle cheapies available. 4A deluxe set at a reasonable priceThe Pavillion Deluxe Cribbage Set is a reasonably priced Cribbage Set. The set contains everything a beginner needs to get started for Cribbage play. This is a solid wood board, a deck of cards, 3 sets of Cribbage pegs, and a sheet of instructions of how to start play with up to six people. It is particularly helpful for a novice, such as myself, that numbers are marked on the board. There also is a tri-colored track to keep track of your pegs. The whole set can be stored in the tin Collectors' box that contains the game. Any drawbacks? Although the instruction sheet is enough to get you started on the game, there are no hints or basic strategies that might be helpful for a new player. That is strategies on what to discard to the crib or keep in your hand. An explanation of "Muggins" would be helpful. It's a painful but necessary tool for a beginner to keep track of their points. All in all this is a durable set that should provide many afternoons of fun. 4Good Product, No Complaints, but...Hubby and I played crib a lot, years ago. We just started, again and couldn't find our original crib boards (we had two of them, and both disappeared). For weeks I was scribbling the counts on a notepad. This is a breeze.The two things I would like, and would have been willing to pay a dollar or two more for, are a better hinge. It works and I'm not so fussy I'll complain that "it doesn't lie flat" or "it doesn't line up". It functions and that's the point of it. I'm happy since I'm not constantly being asked, "what's the score now?"What I do wish is that the board had been routed so the cards could be kept inside when the board is folded, instead of separately. It's a small pick, and that's all that keeps me from giving this 5 stars. 4Poorly madeThis product is poorly made. The two halves are different sizes, when it folds it does not line up correctly, the top is scuffed and paint is missing, one half of the board is offset so the colored lanes do not match up with the holes, and ideally when it is folded in half it would have a latch or some way to keep it folded. Overall a poorly made, cheap product. Would not recommend. 1Poor workmanshipI have been a big fan of Cribbage for a long time, probably close to fifteen years. I don't need a board made from elephant Ivory carved by Tibetan monks, inlayed with gold, and hand crafted pegs. What I would like though is a board where the two sides actually meet as close to seamlessly as possible (this is a folding board) not a miniature version of the Grand Canyon running through the middleOf the board. The paint was pathetic it was smudged in places and the lines didn't flow smoothly (partially due to the poor workmanship on the folding board). Do not buy this board, forThe love of Cribbage get one of better quality. 1Missing a peg when we got it.I bought this for our camping "Game Box" and haven't had a chance to play with it yet. That said, it looks like it will work out just fine.I took away two stars for poor packaging that allowed all the pegs to fall on the floor when I opened the packaging and because it showed up missing a peg (I'm pretty sure I found all the pieces when they fell into a relatively contained area in our kitchen. Maybe that's petty of me, but it bugged me to not get all the parts. 3Good boardNot exactly sure of the quality since my dog chewed up the entire board before I was able to play. But from picking up the pieces it definitely seems good to spend the money on. No reason to look for other boards. 4A great gift for the Cribbage beginnerI bought this as a gift for my 10 year old niece. She has been watching her mother and I play Cribbage for years and recently asked us to learn how to play. We have been playing since we were at least her age if not younger, when we were taught by our Grandmother.I picked this set because it was similar to my own, but not as expensive. The nice things about this set in addition to the colored pegs, are that the lanes are also colored. Additionally it comes with a set of decent Bicycle cards and basic instructions. And I've found rules can vary from player to player, so I gave her a copy of the ones we follow.So far she has enjoyed it and we have been able to play several times. I'd say for the price and value that this is a a good starter set or maybe an extra set for camping, etc. 4
