Works for name brand and off brand duplos.Work just like name brand for a much more affordable price. I can't compare the exact feeling with name brand because I don't ha e any name brand baseplates. I do have a mix of off brand Legos and name brand Legos and these plates work for both. Haven't found any imperfections. I screwed them onto a table to make a lego table and they all meshed together perfectly and held up well. 5Great product, great customer service!These bricks are great! We love the colors and the Duplos we have fit on them perfectly. In that respect, it's hard to tell the aren't Lego brand.Something I must say is that the plastic seems like it might be a little thinner than Legos. If I saw a review that said that, I certainly would have been hesitant to get them. But, I would've been wrong not to get them. Having them now, I don't even see that as an issue. Otherwise, I wouldn't have given it five stars.Another thing is that when we opened the pack, one of the blocks was a little dented. It was still usable, but it wasn't great to get a dented product. I would imagine it was a packaging or shipping issue, because I can't see this company letting something like that go out to a customer. When I contacted the company to make them aware of the issue, they credited my account. I was honestly just expecting a "So sorry. Thank you for your feedback." email.I have and will definitely continue to recommend these to family and friends. No, they're not the same gage/weight, but they solve a problem that Lego seemingly won't address, which is: [prior to purchase of these] not having enough base plates to keep everyone happy. My three granddaughters still squabble over who gets certain colors, but being able to create lots of dwellings that won't tip over on carpeting, thanks to these secure baseplates, makes constructive building playtime more fun. I placed two different orders. One arrived in a padded envelope [not a good option] and the other arrived in a sturdy box with cushioning around the product [this is the correct way to ship these]. 5who loved to play with DuploOnce upon a time, there were two boys, aged four and six, who loved to play with Duplo. Their creations became larger and more complicated, and soon there was contention for the big pieces that undergirded their massive constructions. (Is 'undergirded' a fairy tale word? I am not sure.) The arguments became rancorous and parenting turned into a full-time referee position. If only there were a way to get more large pieces to keep them from fighting...Twelve pieces of Lego for $14 sounds like a lot, but the oversized position they have in this household gives them the leverage to be the best purchase of the year (in the peace-keeping category). 5Great quality and a great value too.I'm very impressed with the quality of these brick bases. I love the range of colors too. For the price, you cannot beat these brick bases! My preschool students are loving them, which is the most important part! They fit perfectly with our blocks though, with only one exception....not all of my Mega Blocks were created equally! These are not off brand Mega styled blocks unless Target sold them that way. I noticed that some of my blocks don t stay on because the underneath isn t the same. Our grandson also builds tall apartment houses, using these plates for the room floors.Mesh perfectly with the Duplo brand blocks. Very satisfied. 5Almost but not quite entirely unlike DuploThis is a real review for something I paid full price for. I do not trust reviewers that received a free or discounted item.You can tell these are inferior to real Duplo pieces as soon as you hold one. The plastic is lighter and thinner than the ABS real Duplo/Lego is made out. You can see the width of plastic making the connecting holes is thinner. But these are less than half the price of the equivalent Duplo pieces so that is forgivable. You do get a nice variety of colours, which are slightly different to the Duplo bricks I have.My main problem with these is how they stick to real Duplo. Pieces on the top fit well but come apart easily because of the thinner plastic. However the bottom is very loose. Take a look at the picture and you can see the bottom holes are only fully across the edges. If you try and stick something in the centre it will fall right off.If you are just going to use these as baseplates or have the edges supported then they serve their purpose. Do not count on actually building or supporting a structure using them. 3Awesomely awesome!These Big Briks Duplo LEGO baseplates are awesomely awesome! They are sturdy, beautifully crafted with exceptional precision, and the colors are LEGO-perfect. The Duplo LEGO bricks fit snugly on these baseplates and provide the perfect foundation for the creations of our 3 y/o grandson. They are the perfect addition to our ever-growing beloved Duplo LEGO collection. 5Compatible with Duplos, Worth Every Penny!My kids love to build with Duplos, and I wanted to buy them some extra bricks and baseplates. That is tough to find in the Duplo brand, so chose Strictly Briks as an alternative. The baseplates are completely compatible with my Duplo bricks and plates. They are a little lighter than Duplos, but not flimsy at all. The baseplates do not hold a 2x2 brick on the *bottom* of the plate as tightly as a Duplo plate does, but every other point on the bottom of the plate had a strong connection. The top had strong connections with both Duplo and SB bricks and plates. I am so happy to have these available for my kids! They love to free-build as opposed to making a specific set or scene, so I see a lot of Strictly Briks in our future! I also bought them the 108 piece Classic Big Brik bag and will post this review over there, too.
