    Came loose in a box...So this did not come in an official box, makes me think that it must have been used before even tho I paid for a new one...I dont feel comfortable letting my 2 year old play with this because I cant even remove the mouthpiece to clean it and who knows who's mouth has been on it....I'm going to try to exchange and hope it comes in an actual package this time... 1Surprising nice.Bought for a 9 year old and thought it was likely going to be a piece of junk but was surprised it works and has held up to my 9 year old who destroys everything. This seems to be the larger of the two plastic saxophones out there and is worth buying instead of the one with only 4 buttons. It comes with a couple songs that can be learned by color. It would be nice if it came with a few more. 5Love it Really love it. My 3 year old wanted to be just like his brother. Yes it is plastic but it is perfect for him. 5Great value!I was hesitant to buy this because of the mixed reviews but the price wasn't too bad so I took my chances and I'm glad it did! My nine year old son loves this and we will buy him a real sax in the future. He has to learn to press each key fully and blow to make a sound. In my opinion that's better he learns how really play it. So far it's sturdy with normal play, I instructed him not to drop it or bang it around and he keeps it in the box. I wish there was a neck strap so he could hold it properly. The box only came with two songs to play so I'll have to go online and find more easy songs. 5Update; after buying a second one!Terribly made! Already broke after my toddler dropped it. Will be asking for my money back. The keys are badly glued it.Update; my 2.5yr old kept asking for the saxophone, not knowing I returned it. So I repurchased it! Crazy, I know considering he broke the first so quickly.The second one came in a nice box and that's when I realized the first saxophone was sold to me used. Yuck! This new one does not have the keys poorly glued in place and works much better. My toddler can actually blow into it without much effort this time.I've moved my rating stars from one to three. Let's see how long this one last... 3Not an annoying sounding instrument.Our 3 year old daughter only wanted a Saxophone for Christmas. Santa was able to deliver this to her.We are parents that prefer not too have a lot of noisy toys. This is a very nice toy and does not sound overly annoying :)The keys really move and play different notes when pressed. Child does have to actually blow through the instrument to have it make a sound, so it isn't like an electronic type sound. I would recommend for sure! 5Disappointed!I hoped the quality would be better. On the first day of playing one of the buttons already broke. You have to blow strong to play (I feel dizzy after playing a few tunes...it s like blowing up a ballon). And I hoped it would be louder. If you play it together with some other instruments there is hardly a chance to hear it. My 4 year old son, who was very excited in the beginning, hardly plays it. Disappointing instrument! 2horrible quality!!!Bought this for my 4yr old for Christmas. Before we were even finished gathering all the trash from unwrapping presents, this toy was already broken. Mouthpiece broke off from the rest of the toy within playing with it for a couple of minutes! Very poor quality considering this was made for toddlers... disappointed! Should ve listened to the other reviews! 1Too complex for 2-year oldI got this saxophone for our almost 2-year old son, and he doesn't really play with it (he generally likes all kinds of instruments). I think it's too advanced for his age. You have to blow quite hard, and unless you press down a key, it doesn't make a sound. The placement of the keys (the part that you have to press down) is also rather awkward. I find it hard to play too. 3Waste of money2 keys were broken, which I noticed after throwing the box away,3rd got broken right after my son tried it. Sounds come up really hard, my son has the trump and absolutely loves it so I thought this one would be good too, but not. 1
