Customer Reviews

Love These markers are so nice. They are really easy to use, you don t have to push hard at all, and they are very bright and pigmented. Definitely recommend! 5Disappointing, for a Crayola productColors are too dense and are way different than the cap color. As you can see from the photo, I had to make a color legend. The ink color matched the samples on the back of the box fairly well, but since the caps were so different I had to keep "testing" before coloring. Also had a problem with leakage/bleeding all over my hand. 23 Strikes! These are OUT!These were so disappointing. I went with these markers because they were made by Crayola. I really can't believe what a fail these are coming from such a big corporation. Many of the markers were over-filled with ink. One leaked out and all over others in the box. About 60-75% were so over-full that they bled into a puddle when touched to paper. There is inconsistency with the firmness/diameter of marker tips.Lastly, many of the colors come out vastly different than maker kids indicate.I would not waste my money again on these. Again, I am really in shock that Crayola put out such a dud. Definitely a waste of money! 1& unless someone gets a very bad spray tanI brought these because I couldn't find a sharpie in a flesh color. I was excited to see sandy tan in this pack... well sandy tan is orange! & unless someone gets a very bad spray tan, I haven't seen anyone that color... they are good markers however... they don't bleed through to the other pages. 4Love the colors and plenty of ink but they are ...Love the colors and plenty of ink but they are so wet they start ripping the paper no matter how light I color. I tried on two different types of paper, one much thicker, but the same problem. I'd end up with bits of paper on the tip of the markers. 2I should have heeded the others' advice....I don't generally leave product reviews. These made me change my habit. I was very excited to get these markers. There were a lot of good reviews for these regarding the adult coloring books. I did read a few negative reviews, but in my experience, trying the product despite the negative usually ends up in a positive experience. There are just some people that are impossible to please. I try to keep that in mind while reading the negative. This was not the case with these markers. These markers bleed. Badly. I didn't have such a hard time with it bleeding through my pages, but bleeding through the lines. Wow. How disappointing. I wanted my lines to be finished on my pages. This is not possible with these markers. I even made sure I colored inside some of the lines (thinking it could be my hand shaking outside the lines). It definitely did not help. I feel the other unhappy consumers are correct in assuming these markers are overfilled and when you overfill a water based ink, you get marker hemorrhaging all over your beautiful picture that you are trying so hard to make perfect. This turns your meditative coloring session into a rage induced nightmare. I know I'm exaggerating, but I can't help it. It really ticked me off. If you are using these for coloring pages that don't have hardly any intricate detail, go ahead and get these. But if your book has a lot of small little details to color, go with a little more expensive ultra fine tipped marker. It is definitely worth it. 2Dont buy if you're looking for 32 *different* colorsPaid for 32 different colors and received 32 markers in 16 colors- each came with a duplicate. Annoyed 1The colors are nice and saturatedThese are the quality I expect from Crayola. The colors are nice and saturated. They might seem like they're on the pricey side but I just compared to some of the water based "kid" versions and some of the colors are more pronounced. Guess if you don't care about that all that much, get the "kid" markers. While I can see leaking markers being an issue with these (especially if they were roughly handled during shipping), I haven't really had an issue with it.Update: 7/10/16 I thought others were talking about these leaking a bit of ink near the tip. It's near the bottom. I had to tape around it. I guess I'd rate these lower than 3 stars if these were a more expensive brand of marker. 3Crayola products are always good products. My sister and I have been buying ...Crayola products are always good products. My sister and I have been buying items to do adult coloring, so we looked for bigger packages than we could get locally. One issue I do have with these is that they are packed in four little boxes, so you have to open and close the boxes to find the one you want to use. We ended up pouring them in a gallon storage bag so we could see them. Also, they tend to mark a little deeper in color than the indicated color. We will use them often, and they are basically a good product. 4This Crayola Adult marker set it THE set to get with great color selection and performance.Hi All.The Crayola 40-piece fine line markers are a very nice set of markers indeed. First, I want to say that I've purchased other water-based ink markers, and I've NEVER used a juicier set. Not 1 of the markers was dry, or even going dry. Now, you need to know that I have never really liked water-based ink markers, but this set was so incredibly easy to use, and it layed color down beautifully. I have become a water-based ink marker lover.I have included a page so you can see how nice the colors look. You should notice, that the streaks are very minimal. Granted that the spaces in this page aren't super big, but even the spaces on the hearts are big enough that if you aren't familiar with water-based ink markers, you could get some streaks that look quite bad.The color selection in this set is great. Now, 40 markers may not seem like a big set, but the shades that are included are the ones that tend to be used more. I like this fact. I always feel like I'm "wasting" my money by not using certain colors. I'm not worried about that at all with this set. It contains 2-grays, 4-browns, 5-pinks, 5-greens, 2-teal, 6 blues, 3-purples, 2-yellows, 5-oranges, and 2-reds. It also has 1-wine, 1-gold-ish, 1-black, and a shade they call "Sandy Tan" that might qualify as a flesh tone. I know that the regular, yellow box set does not include the "Sandy Tan". That is one of the big reasons I chose the Adult Coloring Fine Line set.I really like the tip shape and size. There are other markers that have a "standard" bullet shaped tip, but this one is smaller. It was easy to get into the small areas, which is a necessity for me. My favorite designs to color are the smaller spaced style, and even the "tangled" style. So, if you like the Crayola brand, and are wanting a good set of water-based ink markers, with a very good color selection, I suggest that you purchase this set.Let me know whether you found this review helpful or not.Thanx, MindyThey blend well. I did some simple shading on this page. You should be able to see that I used a base color, and then added a darker shade around the edges and across the center line. The darker shade blended into the lighter shade and made the little fronds look dimensional. This is an easy techique, but it does not always look good with water-based ink markers. These Crayola Fine Line markers were definitely up to this challenge. So, if you like to use water-based ink markers, this set is a very good choice. It is also a less expensive set. I do believe that it has the better color selection, if you are comparing 5
