    This is NOT brown, it is more of a deep purpleI ordered BROWN, not purple!! I tried to show the marker with cap color along with the TRUE color that it is, but I could not upload the .jpg picture that I took to show you how this product is not even close to brown. I am so unhappy as Amazon has always had quality products until this one. 1I was so pleased to see that I could buy just one color ...I ordered these for my daughter's kindergarten class when they ran out of green markers. I was so pleased to see that I could buy just one color and lots of them. I was worried maybe they would be smaller than your standard marker, but they aren't. They are exactly the same size as the ones you buy in the 8 packs. They were the perfect gift for the class so they could replenish their green markers! 5effect of a sharpie minus the bleed throughI use these for crossing out on my calendar, I wanted something that would be clear but would not bleed through like my sharpies always do. this does not bleed through and works well on thinner paper. 5Always Dependable!!As an assistant preschool teacher, this was an easy buy! my only complaint is that the red marker labels are hard for my students--preschoolers-- to distinguish from the orange ones. The printed color is vibrant red and this is a good value! 4ConvenientI'm a school teacher and one of the lessons I have uses primary colors and monochrome colors. I have quite a bit of colors, but my black markers always run out quickly. I don't want to run out again. 5TERRIFIC markersI love Crayola markers. I used the multicolored packs when I was teaching school and loved them. I have used these yellow markers to hi-light my calendars and books for years. I had to buy a multi colored pack to get one yellow marker until I found these packs of 12! The color yellow is true and transparent. They are NOT florescent and that is what I like about them. They last a long time and I think the price is good. I would recommend them. 5Nice value marker setNice value marker set. I don't know a lot about markers, so I now realized what some people meant by the black "turning blue". The undertone has blues in it and it is more dull when compared to a basic sharpie marker.I started doing caricatures, and I really like the line weights that I can achieve with it. So that aspect is great. I'll use these for practice and events that I may do on the side. 4I love that you can order just one specific colorI love that you can order just one specific color. I am a high school Biology/Anatomy & Physiology teacher. My students color diagrams in class often and were complaining that there were no blue markers.
