    Did not workArrived in an open plastic bag, 3 AAA batteries were in it, they were not all the same. It did not work, traded out for new batteries and it still did not work! Obviously had been used by someone. Sent it back, no replacement offered 1Defective ProductItem received showing visible problem with battery cover. The screw was not tightened all the way. When an attempt was made to do so, the plastic battery cover would not stay in place. The hole for the battery cover screw also appeared uneven & damaged. The toy would not work at all. This had to have been apparent when the item was shipped. Very disappointed...item returned. 1This is an adorable plush toyThis is an adorable plush toy. She has the sweetest voice and recites five nursery rhymes with movement for a child to enjoy. I bought this item for a baby shower for my daughter which has a Nursery Rhyme theme and it is perfect for this occasion. It will be the centerpiece of her table and I will keep it for my future grandchild who I am sure will enjoy listening to this delightful toy. I have showed it to a co-worker who ordered it for her grandchild. I would highly recommend this as a gift for a young child. 5Five stars for a number of reasonsThis toy appears to be well-made. The Mother Goose "voice" is very charming and clear. (You can hear and see the toy work on Youtube.) It was sent quickly and was well-packaged. Inside the box, the toy was sealed in a plastic bag and sparkling clean. Came with batteries installed. Pulling out the temporary plastic tab to activate the batteries did not activate them immediately, but it was easy to open the battery case and reset the batteries and then it worked perfectly. So it is basically ready-to-play when it arrives. Very charming toy. I was accidentally sent the 5 rhyme model and when I contacted the company via email through Amazon to arrange a return and replacement with the 7 rhyme model, the company rep responded promptly, apologized and made a special effort to quickly get me the 7 rhyme version. For all these reasons, I give this toy, and the company that sells it through Amazon, 5 stars. 5Total waste of moneyThis Mother Goose came wrapped in a plastic bag. Nothing else. One side of her glasses was already detached. On the first day of use her book came detached from her hands. On the second day of use, she stopped working entirely! We replaced the batteries and she still does not work. This was a gift for our daughter's second birthday. She is devastated and we are angry. Total waste of money. I am starting to feel as a Prime customer, that my products from Amazon are sub par. Our Daughter was thrilled while she worked. Completely unacceptable to pay full price for an item that worked for two days. I owned the Talking Mother Goose as a child and she was by far a superior product to this total waste. Very sad to have had this experience. I would not recommend this item nor would I purchase it again! 2DisappointedI love the animated Mother Goose but was so disappointed when I took it out the box and saw that the beak had been sewn on crooked and there was a glob of glue on her cape that I couldn't get off. :( I had no time to exchange it before the baby shower and was afraid that if I did go to the trouble of returning it, I would just receive another that was of the same quality. I just hope my daughter never looks too closely. 2I bought this wonderful Mother Goose for my granddaughter for ChristmasI bought this wonderful Mother Goose for my granddaughter for Christmas, and she loved it! This Mother Goose Plush Toy moves and reads some of the great classic Mother Goose nursery rhymes out loud to you. The animation and sounds are fantastic. I also bought a Mother Goose board book to go along with this, so her mother could read the book with her.I know I will be buying more of these Mother Goose Animated Soft Plush Toys as gifts in the future if Amazon and Cuddle Barn continue to make them available. I love that this toy gets back to the basics, and children still love it. 5Mother Goose must have been drinking!!I saw Mother Goose in a local store. Since Amazon is my go-to place for shopping, I ordered it. When it came, poor Mother Goose was incoherent...couldn't understand a word she was saying. I tried changing the battery, but still could not understand her. I think poor Mother Goose threw in the towel and self-medicated. If she would have worked correctly, she would have been a great baby shower gift. 1Better QUALITY checks before sending out the merchandise.Glad you asked! I do wish there would have been a few more Nursery Rhymes but they did pick the most known Nursery Rhymes like Humpty Dumpty, Hickory Dickory Dock, Jack and Jill, Little Bo Peep, and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. The Goose I received has different colors than shown. Mine has a very pastel, soft pink for the bonnet and shawl and the book is not green but a light, pastel yellow. Not a problem for me, but the brighter colors would have looked better in my nursery. 5
