    Nice Little PlaneGot this as a gift for my sons as a way of sharing with them that we were taking them on their first plane trip. They liked it. Not so sturdy to hold up as a play toy, but a neat little miniature of the real thing! 5My Twins Love Their Planes!I recently flew on a plane and wanted to get my four-and-a-half year old twins these models of planes since they love toys like this and they wanted to see a plane that Mommy flew on! I flew on Delta for this trip and the gift shop I stopped in was out of all of the Delta planes like this but they had several other airlines so I saw the brand and knew what to look for. Of course, I turned to Amazon and found that they have exactly what I wanted so I ordered two of these while sitting in the airport terminal since I promised my kids presents!These Daron Delta planes are the exact same ones sold in many airport gift shops so you can always order them before a child's first flight or if you can't find the airline you want in the gift shop. I ordered two of these Delta planes and my kids really like them! They are made of die-cast metal and some of the parts are made of plastic. There are plastic wheels on the bottom so the plane always has its landing gear down and it can roll on furniture and take off, which is what my kids love to do. The planes look similar to actual planes except these don't have the wing tips on them like the planes I was on. They measure almost six inches in length, five inches wide (wingspan), and 7/8 inches tall. They are made in China and are rated for ages four and up. They come in a box which makes it nice to give as a gift.My twins were really excited to get these and love playing with them! I had to demonstrate how a plane takes off, flies around, and lands, which fascinated them. Like other die-cast toys we have, they seem durable. The body of the plane is made of metal but the wings don't seem as durable so I wouldn't suggest throwing these too hard or they might break. The Delta logo, doors, and windows are all on stickers which could come off so I've been smoothing them down. The stickers are placed in the right spots but I just wish they were painted on so it would look nicer. Still, I'm happy with this product and the price I paid. If you have a child who is flying for the first time, you are looking for a gift, or the gift shop was out of planes, you can still find them! Overall, I'm happy with this product and I would buy these again! 4Great toy planeMy two-year-old daughter loves airplanes! We were about to go on a cross-country flight so I thought it would be a nice toy to teach her about planes to prepare her for the flight and a nice small toy to play with in flight. Through extensive, toddler play, some of the paint did chip off the nose but it is an easy fix to paint over it. The body itself is a lightweight metal and the rest is a sturdy plastic. It is not indestructible but holds up to rough play well. 5Great little toy planeI used this to wrap around the delta gift card our team purchased as a retirement gift for our boss. She loved it and couldn't believe we found one for Delta. 5Cheap and small for the priceI bought this for a 3 year old friend's birthday because I've watched him lust after a plane that looks the same but.... this is just smaller, cheaper and not worth the price. I'm so disappointed I really wanted to give this little boy his dream plane. I guess these planes come in different sizes (maybe from another manufacturer?) but I couldn't see any bigger ones listed on Amazon. I'll shop at a real toy store next time as I HAVE seen the bigger size at the plane museum toy shop. 3Nice design, but wished for a solid designThis came very early, which was nice, but when I opened the package it was like if someone squashed it. But that's not the point ,the point is the plane inside. That was the only thing I was exited for. But why are people SO lazy that they put a freakin sticker as the windows and the logo??! Really?! What does it take to print the windows and logo on the actual plane, the overall design is OK except the logo and windows. They should at least have printed the logo and anyways my stickers are messed up too. The plane was pretty big, I thought it was smaller but good size.(LOOK AT THE PICTURES ) 3Nothing special...Really is only worth it if you just really want a plane that says delta. Doesn't roll but has decent weight. 3Perfect for the First FlightMy 4-year-old loves this little Delta plane, which we bought in preparation for his first flight. The print on the side of the plane is one single sticker but it has held up well so far, given that it hasn't been manhandled or scrubbed vigorously during washings. We have also limited contact with liquids and other materials that could damage it over time. 5Great QualityThis plane is realistic, great quality, and cheaper than the airport ones.the plane is not a 767.it is a kind of 777.my son still has it and it is in good condition.it came in the package in perfect condition.the front landing gear does not move but he still loves it.I want daron to make more jets maybe even A md 80. And hopefully amazon will sell it. 5A Cheaper AlternativeDaron provides a cheaper alternative to the higher priced all metal, non decal airplanes sold by the other die cast airplane makers, as well as it's own higher priced product lines. You sacrifice some product quality with some of the parts being plastic as well as decals instead of graphics painted on, but it still provides you with fun and enjoyment from being able to own airplane replicas without breaking your budget. All in all, a pretty good value. 5
