    Great for playing with elderly parents!My wife and I love this set of dominoes! We play dominoes with my elderly in-laws and having the numbers on the dominoes instead of the dots really helped the game move along quicker because they were able to read them more easily. The tiles were a nice weight and don't fall over easily. The case is very sturdy. This set of dominoes would make a perfect gift! The only issue we came across was determining which domino was the six and which was the nine. 5The perfect set, the perfect gift. Quality is Great. No more "can't see" excuses.Double 12 Numeral Tiles 2-in-1 Mexican Train.. I read a lot of reviews about others. This set does NOT have any missing, imperfections of any kind and was very neatly wrapped together so the customer, without even opening the dominoes (not the metal case), can check the contents. The case is the perfect size for the dominoes. This order will become a standard birthday gift from me to: We play dominoes a lot and the numbers will speed the process a lot. No more counting dots at the older, hard to see, age. 60's, 70's and older. We generally have 7 or less and this is the perfect size. It's PARTY TIME... cheese dips and all!The pictures have the dominoes still wrapped like they came to me. As it says: These are NUMBERS, not DOTS. 5Not what I thoughtParts of this set are nice (like the carrying case, size of tiles and the tiles being numerical vs. old domino style), but I am VERY dissapointed in the quality of the tiles. I opened my packs of tiles and I have a tile that has blue dye on it which leaves one tile marked with a blue stain, even after trying to clean off with nail polish remover. And I was under the impression the tiles I received would be like the ones in the picture. The colors are different, and there aren't any "Zero" tiles. But there are blanks, so I'm assuming that's what those tiles are supposed to be. I would try and return this if I knew how. 2Great set for the price!These dominoes are as described in the sellers description. The case is semi-sturdy. The dominoes are well marked and easy to see. They feel quite sturdy and fit in my wooden holders very well. The 6 and 9 are easy to distinguish as they have placed a mark under each one that is plain as day. Thinner than other sets I've had but still good quality. I'd definitely order again.Compared to a set I'd go get at Walmart, I'd rather have these. They use numbers instead of dots on this set ; they've marked them well; they put them in a sturdy enough case instead of a box - what's not to love? 5Love it!Had to take a star for the fact that the noises didn't and don't work, and the fact that the instructions are just printed off a home printer, and not the same as the official game, but love that there are numbers rather than dots. Makes point counting easier. Have yet to re-read description to see if they mention that no score sheets are included. Double 12 Numeral Tiles 2-in-1 Mexican Train Set in Alum Case. We used it for the first time last night (Sat 1/30/2016. while playing we came upon a tile which improperly marked. The tile is a Green 9 with an accompanying red 5. After reviewing all the tiles, we determined that the green 6 is correct but should to rotated 180 degrees. I am attaching a picture.There is a Purple 9 with an accompanying red 5. in the set.This makes the set useless, due to an extra 9 although it is green and no Green 6 with an accompanying red 5 5A fun game that's now easier to seeI've enjoyed using this Mexican Train tile set. The game I was using before belongs to someone else, and I always found the tiles with dots a bit difficult to see, even though each combination has its own color code. I bought this mainly because these tiles have the numbers engraved on them. The colors are bright and easy to see. The plastic trains are also bright and easy for each player to distinguish. I play with a group of seniors, and everyone has commented how much more they like seeing the numbers, rather than trying to count the dots. The only complaint is there's still some confusion about the 6 and the 9, even though there's a line underneath the 6 to make it clearer. I'm not sure what else could be done to make it clear which is which, but I think it works well for most people. I haven't played the chicken variation of the game, but we sometimes use the chickens in place of train tokens. I highly recommend this version of the game for anyone who has trouble seeing, or just gets frustrated by trying to count the dots in the higher combinations. 5So disappointedPros: colors bright, center piece awesome, case is nice.Cons: tiles porous, look dirty and discolored in plastic and get worse when unwrapped. Some of the same numbers are different shades. Backs of tiles uneven, discolored, scratched, one even smeared with blue. Tiles look 50 years old, no kidding. Returning 1Great for the GrandsI purchased this set specifically because of the numbers: playing with the granddaughters will be easier with numbers than the traditional dots until they are a bit older. It's a hit. Even some adults we play with enjoy the numbers because they are easier to see and not hard to read upside down. The set is nicely made, fits perfectly into the sturdy metal case, and will be around for many years. Highly recommended. There are less expensive sets, but this one is worth the price IMHO. 5This "train" is off the tracks ... Don't buy!Paint is flaking off the numbers ... One of the tiles has a discoloration that will not come off, so we have a "marked" tile ... tiles are very porous with no sealing finish have to be constantly cleaned. Very disappointed! 2
