    Hot and sticky these things will glue you to the road.These are a drop in replacement for Associated SC8.2e even though they are marketed as Buggy tires. They have the same offset, width, and diameter as the factory tires meaning you don't have to use adapters or adjust gear ratios. They were so sticky out of the bag that I had trouble getting them out of the plastic sleeve. Bits of grass would stick to the tread like glue.The good:The handling of my SC8.2e has never been better. I lowered the ride height using the droop screws and with these tires on it handles like it was made for on road. The car drives stable and these tires greatly increase the launch, braking, and steering response of my truck.They are the same price as the stock tire replacements but are of better quality and should last longer.Drop in replacementThey have a very clean look.Best on-road tires you'll find outside of XO-1 tires.The bad:Mediocre performance on grass. Very little grip but that's okay on a 4x4 since 4 tires are putting power down.Non belted. I would say the majority of SC8.2e owners aren't going to notice it but I run 6 cell castle Mamba and above 50mph or when it pops wheelies, the front tires balloon up catching on the mud guard.Like many pre-glued tires they will likely need touch ups with thin CA as they start to come unglued in spots. It hasn't happened yet but it did on my 10th scale Banditos I run in my SC10 and Prolite 4x4. 5Great tire/rim/insert setup.Great traction and ride. The foam inserts are really nice. Once installed on my short course truck the handling was so much better on my dirt track. I will buy again when these wear out. 5Love them but it took a LONG time to get ...Installed on HPI Vorza Flux HP RTR 1/8 buggy.1. Packaged very well2. Tires have foam inserts and are glued to wheels3. Tread pattern seems comparable to my OEM wheel/tire combination4. The text on the sidewall is white and not blue5. The wheels are not chrome but more of a hyper black/chrome finish.Love them but it took a LONG time to get them! 5Here we goI m giving a full 5 base on looks, fits perfectly, good clearance all around Will update on durability and driving characteristics. Had to post this before I test drive it .Update 1 . Sticky alright ! However due to this reason I have to accelerate gradually or slow down before a turn or else the car will flip in the pavement / road . Grips very well on grass and on pavement . 5Good bashing tires.I bought some of the Sky-Q ones because they were a cheap 4 pack. They weren't bad, however, I had to constantly reglue. The rubber also wore down pretty fast. (Dirt to grass to street bashing)They perform pretty decently in the snow as well. Digs in and flies over the packed stuff kicks up a storm and flies you through powder as long as it's not over your chassis clearance.I have not had to reglue these yet either. (Mainly running 4S and 6S on an ARRMA Senton.I won't buy Duratrax batteries anymore, but keep these Lockup tires coming! The rubber is nice and thick. With its size and shape, they barely balloon under 6S power. I have run this nearly every day for a month and the wear is negligible. The mount is drilled well to fit my 17mm hex without having to be expanded. 5Great traction for my 1/8 buggy on the pavementGreat traction for my 1/8 buggy on the pavement, but I don't think that the wear characteristics are as good as some of the competitor options which are only slightly more expensive. I'll give something else a try next time, but I will continue to run these until they fall apart. Also, I did have to re-glue all 4 tires that I purchased. The factory glue job allowed the tires to break away from the wheels in 5 minutes or less, granted I was running 4S and heavy on the throttle, but that's the reason why 1/8 buggy owners buy these. 4Fantastic tiresThese things are indestructible. I have launched my buggy off of a ramp ant it went about 50 feet before hotting an outboard motor on a boat which shattered almost every part on the rear end except for the tires. The tread is fantastic on them as well, throws rooster tails 6 feet high and bit wet soggy grass nothing else compares. They also work great in the slow. I cannot recommend these enough. 5Amazing looking wheel/tire comboAmazing looking wheel/tire combo. I had to widen the center bore a little - they were way too tight to fit onto my Arrma Typhon. But they look fantastic; hopefully they perform just as well!Note: On the first pair I received, the sidewall writing was WHITE, not blue. I'll be more than a little annoyed if the second pair is blue... I'll update when it comes in.Edit: Sigh. Of course they did. Not going to return them, but it's more than a little annoying that one pair is white, and the other blue. I wish these sellers would get their crap together! These tires can get my buggy into three-wheeled turns! So sticky, I can blast up and down the street with confidence. It was nearly impossible to do burnouts without hitting loose material on the pavement. I ll be buying these again FOR SURE! 5
