    I didn't get the item pictured.I thought I was purchasing a set of black card holders with pictures of the suits on them. I instead got bright blue card holders with slightly obtrusive raised dots on them. I added pictures to Amazon if you want to know what I got. This may not be an issue for anyone else, but I just thought I'd forewarn you that they may not be the item pictured. I am sending them back.My purchase was from Reiss Innovations, LLC. I would avoid ordering from them if you also want the item pictured. 2Be carefulI bought these for my mom who is in her 70s. The first card she put in got stuck and we couldn't get it out. I realized that there is fabric on the inside that holds the cards in place. It must have not been totally stuck to the plastic part. She somehow got the card in between the fabric and the plastic where the glue was. Had to break it to get the card out. Was able to tape it back together but the cards fall out a little now. Didn't make the same mistake on the second one! 3Great solution for a broken wrist/handMom broke her wrist and couldn't hold cards. We're big card players so I was excited to find a product to help her! Occasionally it did fall forward, displaying her cards, but we stacked an extra deck in front of it to give added support. Even when it tipped forward the cards didn't fall out. The curved design also helps prevent your neighbor from seeing your cards. 5A Nice Helping Hand for FolksI bought six sets of these as a gift for the activities room at a local rehab/nursing home. They were thrilled as many patients with arthrits, strokes, parkinsons and other mobility problems were not able to hold cards or play card games. Needless to say, the residents love these card holders! They can hide their cards or set the holders on the table in front of them. Their hands don't get tired trying to hold a group of loose cards. Folks with tremors can hold their cards without fear of dropping them. The surface is large enough for folks with arthritis to grip the holders without so much stress. People that were unable to play bridge or poker for years are laughing and enjoying taking a seat at the card table once again!!! Pair these holders with "low vision" card decks and those with macular degeneration or other visual impairment can also join in. Thank you for a great product!!!! 5Cute ideaI like it because you don't have to hold cards. But it's a little difficult for my husband who has Parkinson's. Not enough room to separate cards in and it's hard for him to use which is the reason I bought it. 4Convenient and durableThese card holders work great. We use them for playing Hand and Foot where you can end up with lots of cards and it's convenient to be able to organize them in a holder and play hands free. They're also nice for children to play their card games without the frustration of trying to hold and sort cards. The holders were actually blue and not black as pictured but we like them better as they have a nice crown design on them. We purchased the the first set for my mother who has arthritis and we were so pleased that we ordered another set so everyone has one to use. The blue ones that we received both times are identical to the ones used at my mother's rec center where they get constant use and they hold up very well. They can easily slip the cards in and station the holder in front of them. The cards slip out easily too! Just what we needed to play UNO with our 5 year old!Thanks to the reviews and wonderful Amazon reviewers with their accurate answers! I purchased this set of two card holders for my son to use while we play UNO. He is 5 and is a master UNO player, but he was having to lay his cards out on his chair below the table. Hey, then I didn't see UNO coming! He loves this card holder and he occasionally has had more than 20 cards in it and it works fine. We can even play while we eat dinner when the mood strikes us. The holder is sturdy and does not fall over unless he knocks it, but the cards do not fall out. The card fit is perfect. Not too tight or too loose- perfect. Sometimes my hand gets tired when I'm having a rough night of drawing half the deck for myself, so I plan to use the other holder for myself as needed :) Highly recommended! 5Kid tested - grandmother approvedI got these so I could play Go Fish with my granddaughters. The 5 year old thinks using this card holder is awesome and she won't move on to the next play until she gets her cards set up in the holder. This holder is great for regular playing cards and for the oversized cards we use to play the kids games. It can be a little wobbly on the table by itself but that's more because of kid action that design. 5Got Rid of Odor & Item is So UsefulI purchased these card holders so that my mother and I could play cards again. She has severe arthritis in both hands and holding cards over playing time became too painful. She can play for as long as we like now and would not be without them. (I also purchased an automatic shuffling machine, again, as she could not properly shuffle due to arthritis.)Before purchasing, I had read the review noting the strongly unpleasant odor. Sure enough, when I opened the package, the smell was very strong of petroleum/black tires -- enough to give one a headache if exposed for too long. So, I put them outdoors in the sun for two days. The smell evaporated almost entirely and has not returned (over a year now.) So, if the thought of the smell of black rubber tires turns you away, try that and you may be pleasantly surprised. (Someone else suggested to me that putting them in the dryer might also accomplish the odor removal.) For those below who tried various things that didn't work, maybe my luck with the strong sun. Both my mother and I have a really keen sense of smell (my mother particularly who can smell anything, anywhere and frequently develops headaches to odors, so it's not simply that we are more tolerant of odors.) 4
