    Cute Gift for GirlBought this for my sister's granddaughter for Christmas. Everyone at the Family Christmas Party got a kick out of it with it's crazy talk and especially the dancing to music. I put it on the dresser next to a speaker and turned on the music and she (Pinkie) went crazy dancing. Needless to say we all started dancing too.Fun gift.It was a great gift for a 6 year old girl for sure. 4Bought this because it was a great deal. When we got itBought this because it was a great deal. When we got it, I was excited. But, my child was bored with it after seeing it bark for a few minutes. We went through all of the instructions to see what all it could do. I don't see why this toy was so popular. It's collecting dust and waiting for our next trip to donate. 2My kids are fighting over YippitsFurby was on my daughter's list (5 yr old) that she wrote to Santa. Santa didn't want to spend over $60 on Furby, so he bought her this Fijit Yippit for about 1/6 of that. Well, come Christmas day, she was excited and didn't even notice that it is a different toy than she requested. The problem was that my 2 year old keeps fighting her sister to play with this toy, so the fighting continued for the next two days. Pretty good toy for less! 5Glad it didnt cost muchI bought this for my 3 1/2 year old for Christmas because she kept saying she wanted a "pink robot" for Christmas.. This fascinated for about an hour, after which point my frustrated daughter lost interest. The thing doesn't understand the clapping commands. Half of the time it misses the clap sequences, to the point where our hands were raw trying to get it to do something other than beg. My daughter's claps never registered at all (tiny little hands just don't clap loud enough for this hard-of-hearing robot.) We changed the batteries and did our best to "train" it, but even if we had, may daughter wouldn't be able to work it without adult assistance because of her small hands. This toy has sat tucked away in the toy box since the day after Christmas. 2PatterPatter was a christmas gift for my daughter, and im glad i bought this toy. She absolutely loves it! It simgs and barks and jumps around, but also it can interact with your child. There are games you can play with Patter, if you clap your hands, it does different things. For example, clap once, it does one thing, twice, it does another, 3 times... you get the picture. And the more you play with it, the more it learns. Juat know that everytime you turn it off, it resets so you have to teach it all over again. My daughter thinks Patter is hilarious, and loves playing and making it do different motions...dancing, singing, jumping, barking, ect. I think this was a great toy for the price I paid($6-$7), and i would recommend it to others. 5ImpressedWe don't purchase toys often...our kids have a few special things they play with. I got this as a little treat....for the price, I figured it was worth a try. Both my 6 & almost 9 year olds enjoy this. I even tried teaching it! It is fun....it even went to the grocery store with us. It is larger than I had anticipated, which is nice. A good toy, and quite sturdy. 5So Cute I Want One For MyselfI got the Fijit Friends Yippits Patter for my 6 year old neice for Christmas, it was a perfect gift for her and I plan to get one of the other characters so they can interact for her January birthday. Patter is very cute with a sweet little voice and I think it's super fun, just like the Furbie was back in the 90's. I love that they will interact with eachother. I will be buying more of these for her. 5A little disappointedI have to say, I am sadly disappointed with these Yippits. They are cute and my nieces (I bought Patter & Scooch) thought they were adorable. They were so excited to get them. Unfortunately, they are not very responsive to the commands as the ads, video, and instructions indicate; the responses were random and not based on the number of claps. I found this to be a little frustrating. 2CUTEThey say it is for older children but I bought one for my daughter who is 20 months, she loves it.. Doesn't really understand the clapping commands but its easy for her to turn on and make it dance. The best part was that the sting was still in it, so when she opened it we pulled it out and it brought it to life for the first time, so the batteries were brand new. 5Pink Fijit Friend...I came on time and really fast my 3 year old daughter was so excited to get them as i was, it was a little difficult at first because you have to train them to do things like dancing by clapping. It doesn't just register "little" claps an adult needs to be their to help. It doesn't just keep moving and playing it only lasts for a minute then you have to clap again, which could be a good thing because it would not run the battery down as fast. Its a beautiful color and and fun object to play with. My recommendation would be if you bought it buy it for a kid that's a little over 3 years old unless you want to help her teach it. 3
