    NOT family friendlyA great version of the classic Fluxx game for stoners. Simple to learn, and fairly fast-paced; some games last 5 minutes, some 30+. Depends in part on how many cards you play that suggest you light up. You CAN play this game without smoking any marijuana...but really, why would you? =) 5Nerd approved card game!I got this as a gift for my girlfriend and we played it for the first time last night. This is an awesome game and I'm giving it my nerd seal of approval for a must have game. Flux has many variations and I suggest the game in general as an easy to learn game and overall fun experience. Great gift idea for your gamer type nerds or a great buy for personal use. 5fun as hellHilarious, fun as hell. I recommend for all stoners! (The only thing I wish was different is less "WARNING" labels on cards having to do with marijuana...can we just legalize it already so this stupid stuff doesn't have to be posted on everything? ruins the fun) 5So much fun!Love this game as well as all of the flux games we have played so far. The topic of this may be taboo in some circles but as far as a game goes, it is highly entertaining (ignore the pun). My husband and I spend hours playing this as a two player game and have played it with our friends as well. It plays just as good for 2 player as it does for more. 5Great game for an evening smoking with friendsIf you're a fan of Fluxx and you like to toke every now and then, this is a great choice of game! Thematically it is very fun. My friends and I especially like the cards which provide rules for smoking.One weakness of the game (and this is an issue I have with Fluxx in general) is that the game can end really fast. There's a very simple houserule to fix this problem though: play it more like Apples to Apples or Cards Against Humanity and collect goals until the group is ready to call it quits. When everyone is done with the game the person with the most goals wins! This lets you control the length of playtime for a longer or shorter session.For those of you who haven't played Fluxx: this is a simple card game where you can play "New Rules" cards which change the rules of the game. As an example, it starts with Draw 1, Play 1 but there are cards that change the number of cards you draw and play, as well as other rules like hand limits or rules for when to smoke (the smoking rules are specific to Stoner Fluxx). This is very much a quick and easy party game and in my opinion it plays very well within the suggested range of players (2-5), although technically you can play with more. 4A stoners must haveWe love this game. Originally my boss had introduced our friends to the regular fluxx game and my friends and I just didnt get the point, but as soon as he whipped this bad boy out we were hooked. I bought this game over a year ago so we could keep playing even without our boss and its our go to game. We play it with smoking rules optional so we dont have to wait for the rules to be on the table to enjoy and its still fun. For us this is a must have and we are always coming up with cool ideas for other cards that could be in the set. 5One Toke Over the Line, Sweet GamersWelcome to Fluxx Lite. "Stoner Fluxx" doesn't have much to offer to people who aren't getting high while playing it, but it's a relaxing, minimally competitive game for those who are, with relatively benign Creepers ("the Munchies," "the Mooch"), several cards that encourage players to break for a toke, and a helpful "Whose turn is it?" card, because it's easy to lose track of such things, y'know?If you want to play a more exciting and strategic weed-themed game, you're better off playing Grass Card Game. "Grass" is anything but relaxing: it's a game about good old cutthroat, capitalist competition, in which players vie to peddle the most profitable stash while minimizing damage from thieves, drug busts, and Paranoia cards. Then again, "Grass" isn't about sharing a good vibe; "Stoner Fluxx" is. Take your pick. 3Hilariously Bad (In a Good Way)All right, let's be honest. this will likely appeal to a "certain" segment of the population automatically. But I found this is actually a fun and funny game for anybody with a good sense of humor, whether that humor is "assisted" or not.For a breakdown of the Fluxx rules, I would say this: you start off with the rules "draw 1, play 1". Players draw cards from the deck that consist of five categories: New Rules, Keepers, Actions, Goals and Creepers. New Rules take effect immediately upon playing: for example, "draw 5", "play 3" or "at 20 minutes past the hour everybody..does something that is still technically illegal in 48 states without a prescription and even then the feds aren't with it". Ok I paraphrased that last card, but I'm sure you got the gist of it. Action cards are one time events, like "draw 3 cards immediately". Keeper cards are the way you win. There are several different kinds of Keepers like "a friend" or "good music". Depending on which Goal cards are in play, different combinations of Keepers will allow you to win. For example, if you have the goal "a mix tape your friend made for you" in play, you would win if you have laid down "a friend" and "good music". Creepers are the cards that prevent you from winning and you have to try to get rid of them by playing other cards.That may all sound complicated, but its very easy to learn. Some strategy, a lot of luck. Obviously everything has a certain, "green" theme to it. You may be asking me, "Hey, I don't do anything like that...will I still have fun?" The answer is yes, as long as you think that sort of thing is funny. I gave this to a friend of mine who is more than a little "law and order", but a good time was had by all. However, open minds and a good sense of humor are prerequisites. Also, if you think marijuana is really evil and drugs are bad (m'kay) you will not find it funny. Although, the game comes with some "informational" cards as well that might get people thinking about the role of drugs in our society so who knows? Not I. All I know is the game is fun. 4I've played Fluxx before and it's always a good time. Plus you can mix this one with ...I've played Fluxx before and it's always a good time. Plus you can mix this one with any other sets you have to make a super set.I got this for my friend for his birthday because he checks two things off the list, gamer and pothead. He didn't say thank you, probably forgot, makes sense, he is the target audience. 5Better than a bag of.... cats.Very cute game! I purchased this for my husband for Christmas and he loved it. It was fun for the adults in the family to play. I would not recommend children play due to the adult themes of the cards (pot smoking). The cards are funny and it gives about 5-45 minutes of play time. I love how you can adapt the rules to fit your house. Very nice! 5
