    Not BadI bought this costume for my 7 year old as part of our Disney Cruise for Pirate night. It is not the best quality material, but it did the job for the night. She absolutely loved the costume and wore it the entire night with no problems. The back was ripped where the velcro closes at the neck and there was red crayon/marker on the front AND back of the top part of the outfit. Where the quality shows is in the ...I Bought a Medium for my very tall 3.5y/o granddaughter. It was a little long as expected. Though it was above her ankles. I wanted it large enough to wear over sweats and a heavy t-shirt, and it was more then big enough, without being huge, and the belt it comes with keeps it nicely gathered. Where the quality shows is in the size of the attached vest. Is very floppy and the actual size of the vest looks more like a small then the medium it should be. The price was right, and with a few tacking stitches I should at least be able to keep it from flopping, and show off the skull. 4Okay for the priceI was looking for an inexpensive pirate costume for our trip to Disney as my daughter was visiting the Pirate's League. I had read the reviews and many indicated that the quality wasn't great, but it was fairly inexpensive so I accepted that. As expected, the material is very thin and the fit wasn't great on my daughter (not necessarily too big or too small, just not a great fit). And we had a hard time keeping the black vest from flopping. But for the price we paid, and the fact that she wore it one day, it worked fine. But if you are looking for something a little more stylish and better quality, I would recommend a different costume. 3One-time useGreat for a one-time use costume, but don't expect too much more from it. The ends of the fabric are not finished, so they do begin to fray after a while. My five year old wore this for "Pirate Day" at her pre-school for three hours and I could see ends of the fabric coming undone by the time she got home. She still wears it from time to time for play dress-up, but it's definitely looking a little bit rough at this point. The vest is also pretty floppy, so it has tendency to flap backwards so the skull and crossbones won't show unless you secure the vest to the top.For size reference, my daughter is about 43" tall and 38lbs and the small was a good fit for her. 3
