    Happy with purchase... BUT PRETTY LARGE FOR SMALL KIDSLooks exactly as pictured. Arrived quickly & in good shape. Made of a thin plastic material, which could bend easily. It does not need to be handled delicately, but if it was played with too rough, it probably wouldn't last very long. NOT EXACTLY KID-SIZED, BUT it has a foam cushion on the inside band of the crown, which serves 2 purposes... for comfort & it helps to fit a smaller head. Purchased for my 4 yr old son. He has a large head & wears a boys biking helmet sized for ages 8-14. This crown fit him well, especially with the comfort foam. It probably would be too large for a child with a small head circumference. 4Very nice! Heavy, thick plastic! Packed well in shipment!My crown came in already attached in the ring form, was well-packed, and made it in one piece. I saw some of the other reviews on similar crowns that they had come in broken or when they tried to put it in the ring shape it had broken. I am a Children's Author and had ordered this for one of my mascots (the frog with the crown), and think it will work perfectly. I may order an extra one before we go off and do any shows just in case it gets messed up in transport. This turned out to be way better than I expected and appears to be really heavy duty (thick, heavy plastic). I think my frog will like it, and the children, of course! 5two out of three arrived broken in the packagingI don't often write reviews, but this time I felt it is necessary.I ordered three of these crowns, planning to use them for the princes I will be crowning at a Valentine's Day dance that is coming up in just a few days. Two of the three arrived broken. The one that was intact was very difficult to put together and I think it would be next to impossible to get it to be round instead of oval shaped.I contacted Amazon Customer Service, and as usual, they made this right for me. Customer service at Amazon is the best.Do yourself a favor, though, and order different crowns. Forum Novelties Regal King Crown One-Size 1foam keeps falling outThe foam that is supposed to cushion it against the head won't stay in the crown. I'm going to take some hot glue to the back of it to make it stay put. Other than that it works fine. We got it for a 3 Kings costume for our church fits the 11 year old boy wearing it just fine. 4Be aware of shipping method/damage and small adult sizingItem took a week to arrive using amazon prime which alone was odd. When it did arrive, a couple of the round tips on the crown were broken off because the crowd was shipped as it is pictured, when it could have been shipped laying flat to avoid damage. Also make note of the sizing. This would not fit my 5 year old son....far too large. I fits me but just barely...it is tight. I wear a size 7 1/4 fitted hat so size reference. (5'10/185lbs male, average head size) 2Too small for 2 year old, fit my 5 year oldLooks great, but way too big for a 2 year old. It fits my almost 6 year old, but for my younger son I will have to adjust it. I am planning to add some more foam or inside straps to help it stay on his head for play. When I bought it, I knew there was a chance it wouldn't fit, but it is one of the better crowns I've seen. Sturdy too, and hopefully will stand up to playtime dressup wear and tear. 4exactly what I expectedThe crown arrived in great condition and the moment my son saw it his face lit up. It's a great color gold, the jewels were intact and the foam is perfect to hold it in place on his head. He's about to have a medieval themed 9th birthday party and will be wearing this all day. I can't imagine it will last past the one day wear but for the value that is what I expected. The tips are fragile and if it gets bent once it's likely not to go back into shape. But for one day, he'll be a king! 4Better Than ExpectedArrived two days early and is exactly as described. Foam makes it comfortable to wear and all my jewels were in place. Don't be a stoonad; SLOWLY bend the plastic crown into place and apply light heat if possible. I just breathed on it and carefully pushed it into the shape I wanted. If you receive this package in the winter; let the plastic get to at least room temp before trying to assemble. 5Don't bother, really, don'tThe crown is very flimsy and brittle stamped piece of plastic. It comes to you as one long piece, like a ruler, that you must bend into a circle to form the crown, while hooking it together in the back. Even though I was very careful the thin plastic broke while attempting this. Save your money, as inexpensive as this product is it is not worth the money. 1Great costume piece.For an inexpensive costume piece, this was great. I like that it's packaged straight/unfolded so there's no crease. It's heavy duty, durable plastic that really doesn't look chap and the bling jewels are great. Size wise, though, it runs very small. I'm a 7 1/4" hat size and this was about an inch shy of working. A couple rubber bands in the back fixed that tho and it made the fit nice and snug. More crafty people could affix velcro on the back too. The inside lining was thin styrofoam, so I lined it with purple felt and hot glue. Looks and feels great. 5
