    cute, soft and snuggly, hoping this will help my son get used to the idea of a new baby!we ordered this little doll for my son since we are expecting another baby in less than 2 months. He seems to like it a lot. It's very soft and snuggling and it's also tiny so we can reinforce "gentle" and "nice hands" with it and also get him used to the idea of a baby. He's definitely interested in rocking his baby and I'm hopeful that this will be a good way to get him familiar with the term baby and hopefully occupy him and get him to be a little helper with his baby when our daughter is born. 5He is cute and the perfect gift for my grandson also named LouieI would order from Amazon again, for sure. This item arrived in a box along with other items. The doll has its own packaging, but it was also placed inside a small cardboard box for safe mailing. He is cute and the perfect gift for my grandson also named Louie. Notice the doll's name is Luis. Very satisfied with doll. My order arrived very quickly after ordering the items. Nothing was damaged. 5Came damagedWhile I love that I found an age appropriate boy doll for my infant son, it had a small hole in the back seam when I got it. The hole got bigger, so I stitched it up, but quality seems to be lacking. He loves looking at it (or any baby faces). 3HABA went cheap on the face!Disappointing. Decent quality fabric, soft to the touch, and the stuffing seems just right for our little one.What irks us, however, are the eyes. They are ironed on decals, not embroidered like Taggies products--and this costs more. The freckles and mouth will fade too, as they are just painted on.Not looking forward to a faceless doll that will have to be tossed. With a little more care for customers and kids, this could last for years. This won't be a hand-me-down. 3Great little baby for little kidI bought this for my grandson. He loves soft toys, blankets, and the such at a year old. I handed it to him and he lit up. Hugged it to him and then threw it across the room. Haha but every time he comes to visit he loves laying down with his baby. 5THE doll.We bought this for our son when he was about six months old and very interested in faces - especially doll faces. I liked that it was small enough for his little hands, but had some heft to it, and that it was a boy doll (surprisingly hard to find still!). It sat ignored for months until, at about one year, it became THE doll. Now "Baby" comes everywhere with us, to school, to bed . . . he rides in doll strollers and in the front of a tiny cart at Costco (hilarious). Luckily, he washes well in the washer, and line dries (though it looks like doll torture to hang him on a hanger!).My one issue with the doll came when we ordered a "back-up" Baby, just in case, a few weeks ago. He looked totally different. Different ears, different face, different proportions. We lucked out, because it doesn't seem to both our toddler, but it's a little upsetting that they would be different over the course of a few months . . . It makes me wonder whether both are authentic. 4Perfect for small babiesI bought this baby because I'm obsessed with Haba dolls - each of my kids has gotten one at a year old. I decided to buy Louis for my 3 month old because he loves faces and coos at the dolls, and he also loves snuggling soft textures. It's a perfect size for a baby, very soft and easy to grab. My only gripe about it is that it's slightly lower quality than the other Haba dolls we own. His face it screen-printed, rather than stitched on like the others. I can see this wearing out eventually and who wants a doll with no face?? But my son loves him more than I thought he even would so he's a hit for now. 4... from the description on the site quality is very badDifferent from the description on the site quality is very bad 1My son seems to love it!I bought this doll for my 5-month-old son; I had been looking for a cloth boy doll and hadn't been able to find a good, well-priced one until now. When I received it it was a tad smaller than expected, but the perfect size for my (very short for his age) little boy. He kept reaching for it (instead of the other, closer toys) and so far has enjoyed waving it around and chewing on it.My only beef with this product is that the knit fabric used for his face/hands seems a little cheap. If you look closely you can see right through it, and it's a little stiff (not as soft as cotton jersey usually is).
