best deal, great kitchen!This kitchen is wonderful! It was very easy to put together and my son loves it. I couldn't believe it actually comes with the utensils and food too (though I did have to buy some more food it is a nice start). The only thing I don't like about it is I wish it had at least one more compartment. Everything else is perfect though, the height is perfect for my almost 2 year old and the pegs are an added fun for him which is a great fine motor activity too (hanging the utensils on the pegs). I also bought some melissa and doug food which came with 4 small crates and it all fits inside the left compartment when we put the toys away. It was the best deal for a natural wood kitchen I could find. Eventually I would like to add a fridge but I would recommend this for sure!*the pictures attached show the height compared to my 22 month old* 5The quality of the kitchen is excellent, (it still looks brand new) and it comes ...We got this little kitchen for when our daughter was 18-month-old. She is now almost three and has been playing with it all along. I feel she will continue using it for a long time as she is now starting cooking for us and making dinner for her stuff animals. The quality of the kitchen is excellent, (it still looks brand new) and it comes with a lot of different food items and cooking things, so no real need to buy anything else. Since it is neither too big, nor too flashy like other children kitchen, it fits nicely in our kitchen. I recommend it. 5My Daughter loves this and plays with it all the time. 1 month over.Hape was one of the widely like brand for making wooden toys.I went after the reviews and I can say that I was not disappointed.All the tools and instructions required to assemble the product was given and I was able to put this upin around 5-10 minutes. My kid was all eager to start playing with it. The magnetic doors for the ovenand shelf is so real and good and it keeps everything closed and tidy after the play time is over.My daughter loves playing with this and cooks me and my wife food all the time in the evening.There have been times when we had to pull her away from the pretend play and make her eat some real food.She loves it. The first two three days she was all over cooking and the vegetables.She knows all the vegetables and prepares dishes and puts them in plates andbring it to us for eating. I ask her for a fork and by the time she comes back I will saythe food is over and that I need more. Initially she used to bring me some other foodand I used to repeat. She has not caught on and now checks me to see if I havehidden it somewhere. 5Cutest little kitchenI was hesitant to buy this based on the reviews saying how small it was. I was looking and looking forever to find the perfect kitchen set for my 2 year old son and finally decided, even if it was on the small side, he wouldn't mind. The most important thing was that he could have fun with it and that it was not going to have toxic paint or plastics in it. I am SO SO SO glad I chose it. I love the natural, attractive look of the wood. I love that it comes with all the needed accessories. Also, It is not as small as I had originally pictured based on other reviews. He is a fairly large 2 year old and it's a perfect fit for him. He will play with it off and on all day long. Even my 8 year old likes to kneel in front of it and play with it. The wood is sanded down to a nice, soft surface and so far it seems sturdy. I also like that there are magnets on the doors to keep them closed. My husband had it put together in a matter of 20 min. If you are looking for a cute, neutral kitchen set on a budget, this is the way to go. 5Simple and functionalWe just got this kitchen today and both my 3.5 year old boy and 1.5 year old girl are playing with it non stop. He actually wanted kitchen a very long time ago but we never bought it until now. After reading reviews I was expecting something very small good enough for my daughter only but the kitchen is ok for my tall son too. Of course he needs to bend to access oven and storage compartment but it's no issue. I am thinking to maybe making it taller in the future by putting it on the wooden board we have. It's exact size for for that kitchen's base.What I like about it is very compact and very simple yet functional. The material feels good too. Kids seem to love it but it's the first day with it.We use a lot of kids IKEA furniture and the little table we bought at IKEA is exact height as that kitchen. Put next to it it looks like our own counter and oven. So kids imitate our kitchen already. 5Fun sized, simple/creative kitchen comes with all the accessories.We bought this kitchen for my 1.5 y.o. daughter who LOVES it. She loves making "eggs" and "washing" pizza. It's not a fancy kitchen, so it encourages the child to be more creative with what she has. It's also great for socialization. We ask her to make pretend food for our guests and it really makes her proud of herself and she warms up to new people more easily.Sizing: The whole apparatus comes in a smaller-than-expected box. The kitchen itself is not too big at all: maybe 2.5 by 3 feet. For us, this small flood space is the perfect size and you can move it easily from room to room. Daughter is the 75th percentile for height (around 33-34 inches I think) and while hanging utensils is a bit of a stretch (She's actually figured out to do it from the side), the toy will work for years to come.For a 1.5 y.o. the kitchen comes with more than plenty accessories. But you can also add more from ikea or the like. I keep everything in a large ziploc bag and nothing's gone missing yet...Negatives: I would agree it might be a bit crowded for two children to play together. Also, it's open from the back so things can slide out. Not a big issue though. Lastly I would recommend some kind of wood oil be put on before you assemble it, as the wood is unfinished. I'm going to try the same oil I use for my cutting board to see how that works.Our's was a warehouse deal with a damaged box, honestly you can't beat an 85$ kitchen with all the fixin's! 5My daughter really liked it at first and the kitchen is small so ...My daughter really liked it at first and the kitchen is small so it didn't take up much space in her room. Sadly a cardboard box is thicker than this wood and my then 3yr old broke more than half the toy in just a few months. I know my kid isn't rough with her toys so that's why I'm only giving it two stars. Not worth the price. 2It s everything we wantedI bought this new but open package so I was skeptical. When we received it it was boxed just fine. All pieces were perfect and it was easy to assemble. It gave us no trouble. We are in small living and downsized to this petite play kitchen. It is big enough for our 4 1/2 & 2 1/2 year old girls. The 2 year old is more interested at this point in her development. She uses it very often. The door has been slammed and the sink handle cranked. There is no damage. The quality of the wood is excellent. Even at full cost it would have been worth it as comes with all of the accessories. I highly recommend this play kitchen. It was worth every penny. It is well enjoyed in our home! 5Great buy!My daughter always wants to help me cook so I decided it was time to get her a little kitchen of her own. I was looking around at different kitchens for her, wooden ones that were non-toxic but were not super plain and boring. This kitchen is perfect! My 22 month old is in love with it and is constantly bringing us meals and having us come help her cook meals. She loves all the food and dishes/pots and pan pieces that came with it (we will be getting a little bit more food) but the price for the set can't be beat! The quality is great and the height and size is perfect for her right now. We will probably upgrade in a year or so but this kitchen is great for hours of imaginative play and I highly recommend it! 5Great KitchenMy kids LOVE this kitchen. It is definitely the most played with toy in our home. I will say, that I purchased Hape's more expensive white kitchen (the one that has the matching fridge to purchase separately) for our church nursery and I like that one better - it is also more sturdy. But, for the price of this kitchen with the food and utensils that are included, its a solid deal and provides an equal amount of imaginative fun and play. You won't be disappointed in its cuteness. :) 5
