Brought for Family game nights!! It was a ...Brought for Family game nights!! It was a HIT.. I've played it with friends so I had an idea of how it worked but it's a little tricky bcs you might think it's broke if you don't do it right the cards will fall through. Lift the bar and pull the timer all the way down than insert the cards and it'll work correctly 5Slots wont keep cards up before playingI have played this several times at other people's houses, but decided to buy it for my own house. Saved it for a party night, and come to find it doesn't work. Two of the slots will not hold the cards up at all. By the time I had opened it and found this out, I was already past my return period. So I'm stuck with it and can't use it. 1Worked good with tweaks.Fun Game, but one of the slots did not allow the card to drop free. 10 minutes with a round file fixed it, but if you're not handy this would be frustrating. 4The Time Makes the DifferenceA couple years ago, I played this game with friends and had the best time! Having had such a fun group experience, basically another version of timed charades, I bought Guesstures for our home game collection. The timer seems a bit shoddy, IMHO. The cards slip through too easily and the timer is too fast; there's barely any time to get the "easy" words acted before the card drops down. I get that this means act fast...but at the same time, it takes away from time for the laughter, and that's what it's really all about. Buy this for the cards/words, but get a different timer. 2POOR QUALITY!Very disappointed! One of the slots broke after just a few uses. The card would not stay in the holder (kept sliding though) and we had to end up only playing with 3 cards instead of 4. We were in the middle of a very exciting game during my New Year s Eve Party which made it that much more of a bummer. Would not recommend. 1Fun game for all ages!We play this game with all ages and have a blast. This is another that has become an extended family favorite (the other is the Game of Things). My only complaint is that timer on the game is loud and can get annoying. But once everyone starts guessing, you don't notice it as much. 5Fun game for family game nightFun game for family game night. The kids had fun playing with their cousins for a couple hours. The cards you have to act out are in three categories, easy, medium and hard, which each category giving out points if guessed correctly. I like that you can choose these categories based on your audience. If you have young kids playing they can use the easy cards but if you are playing with adults you can just use the hard card, or a mix. The game comes with 3 difficulty levels (easy, medium, and hard) so it's suitable for all ages. The rules state that you can't speak or make sounds, but we found that some of the clues would be difficult to do without sounds - so we make sure to allow for it, just no words! The clapper does get fidgety at times, so we've had cards stuck in the slots, so we didn't know time was up for that particular card until the timer stopped altogether (finished for that round). Even with this minor hiccup, it's a wonderfully easy game to set up and play. You won't regret having this handy for your next party :) 4
