These chess sets are excellent for those who want a solid tournament chess set with some extra weight to it for blitz or tournament play. Each set comes with one set of 34 chess pieces (INCLUDES EXTRA QUEENS OF EACH COLOR!), one chess board, and one chess bag (colors refer to board and matching bag). All equipment meets chess tournament standards.     Despite one drawback, nice for the price!This set is very decent for the price. Here are some pros and cons:Con:* The inner pouch (where you might store a chess clock or similar) has a cheap zipper. I accidentally pulled the zipper head off while trying to unzip the pouch for the first time, but was able to bend it back on.- Besides this, there is nothing negative I could say about this set.Pro:* The pieces are very nicely weighted and work well for outdoor or tournament play.* The roll-up board lays reasonably flat when it is removed from the case.* The whole set is quite pleasing to the eye and to the touch.* Well worth the price!Note: The board dark squares are a true Navy in color and are darker than pictured :)I plan to use this set mostly at coffee houses and other places on-the-go! 5I LOVE this setI LOVE this set. It comes with 2 queens of each color, which makes the game more fun when you get more queens during the game. I love the blue instead of green. The bag is perfect and even has a spot for the chess clock I bought, which was a decent size yet fixed perfectly. The strap over the shoulder is great and there are the handles too. The pad rolls up and the chess pieces come in ziplocks that go in the two provided zipped compartments for each color of pieces. The only reason I don't give it 4 stars is that one of the pawns had it's head broken off and many of the pieces either had markings on them or the base felt piece was a little off center. But we loved the set so much and the tripple-weight was so perfect (keeps the pieces on there without tipping even on a slightly uneven surface like an ottoman or carpet), that we decided to order a second set and just take the best of both sets to have a complete set with no markings or off center felt things, plus of course no beheaded pawn. Then we returned the one with the flaws and now we are really happy with this set. I wish we could give it 4 stars. Please do better QA on it, Wholesale Chess. 4Overall nice quality. Pieces are not that heavy.Overall really nice quality. I was expecting heavier pieces but they are ok. The mat looks good quality. The bag is a way more nice than expected. It has a lot of pockets for extra chess tournament accessories nad the material and zippers seems to be durable. 5Great prodcut for the price. Could use a tiny bit more quality control.I liked the first one I purchased so much, that I bought a second one. true triple weights, great price. Only three minor problems: the first bag didn't have pull tabs on two of the zippers, and the weights in the plastic are loose inside a few pieces. The second set had a black rook with 1/4 of the top chipped off. Not a major problem since my kids will destroy it eventually anyway. I would buy again, but could do with a little more quality control.rather than buy clocks, I've filled the excess pockets with other games: dominos, Uno, a deck of cards and travel battleship. The Chess board is a good roll up vinyl board and should last awhile if you take care of it. The bag has a 7 pockets one on the outside for the record book, two for pencils, two for the black and white Chess pieces, one for a block style Chess clock and one for your identification. Oh and obviously the main compartment. 5Good value in an everyday chess setThis set is way better than anything you're going to find at the local toy store or big box. It's reminiscent of a chess-club style set. The pieces are weighted and feel pretty good. The board and bag are of a good quality too. I found that the Wholesale Chess pieces with the 4 1/8" king (pictured next to the pieces from this set) are way more substantial and feel and look great on the board that this set comes with, and that's the pieces I'm mostly using with it. I still want a nice carved wood set, but the combo of the larger pieces and the board and bag from this set are enough for the near future. 4GoodGreat set! They are definitely triple weighted and will not blow around in low to medium winds. Be sure to air them outside for a few hours or so, they have a chemical odor that will go away with time. Also, in terms of quality, for a cheaper set they hold up very well to scratches and minor damage caused by young kids. Overall, it is a great outside set, bag and all! 5Nice setWorks as expected, a slight smell to it to begin with. The mat started a little warped on two edges but seems to have flattened out. Very impressed with this set. Exceeded my expectations, quality, weighted pieces feel solid and well made. The overall weight of the kit is impressive. The tote bag is designed very well with individual zippered pockets for the colored pieces, a large zippered center pocket where you can fit a chess clock, business card holder inside to identify who owns the set and extra compartments for miscellaneous items, pen holders, etc. Purchased the blue set and bag and couldn't be happier. Best product for the price hands down! 5
