    Seems to be a Knockoff. But This Toy Has Personality!This hound is adorable, but it seems to be a Chinese knockoff - unless Jellycat has changed their logo and tags... It is not the same tag as the previous Jellycat toys I purchased in London toy stores several years ago. Jellycat plush toys have an exquisite build and are durable. I see no visible flaws in this toy, but when you pay for the genuine Jellycat brand, it should be such... 3My son fell in love with Cordy immediatelyMy son fell in love with Cordy immediately, and so did I. I initially thought that the $25.00 price point was a little high for a stuffed animal shaped like a fox. It's just a few threads and some stuffing, right? Wrong. Cordy is soft, and weighted in all the right areas, his feet have little beans in them, and he is very, very well crafted. Infants (0-3 months) do not learn from toys yet, they need toys which offer comfort and soothe them, which Cordy does. If I had to go say anything to the Jellycat product development team, I would thank them for helping my son transition from sleeping in a swing at night, to being able to sleep in his crib with his trusty little fox. I would thank them for helping calm my little guy down when he is inconsolable and his Cordy is there in the perfect little size for my son to hold with his arms and legs. I would say thank you for letting me get some dishes done while my son laughs and smiles with his little fox friend for a couple of extra minutes. I could go on, but $25 for this fox, is worth every penny. Thanks! 5Everyone loves Mr. FoxyThis fox is not only adorable he is amazingly soft and cuddly. My child sleeps with it every night and the older kids play with him during the day. 5Adorable!I got this for my son's first birthday, and it is perfect! Jellycat's have been go to purchases of mine for all my other friend's baby showers and one year birthdays, and they are always a hit! It's special for me that this time around it was for my own kiddo that I was buying this regal lion for! The lion is soft and durable, keeps his shape and has enough weight on the butt so you can sit him on a shelf without him going anywhere. My son loves him and drags him by the tail as he waddles around. 5Wonderful buddy for toddlersOur daughter has had the Lion Jellycat for close to 18 months now and he (Cecil) is her absolute favorite friend. The Lion is really well made and and adorable. We did have to stitch his tail to his side because as she learned to walk, she would trip on the trail and she carried him. He gets a lot of use and abuse but remains in one piece. I have washed him a few times on delicate and he comes out fresh as ever, though his mane needs a little attention. This is a great buy! 5Oh, Jellycat! How we love you so!My first son (now 2) was given the cordy fox when he was born. We took his monthly photos with it and it was adorable to see him grow up beside it in the first year. The fox is still his constant companion. So when my 2nd son came along I was on the search for a separate but equal buddy for him. We decided to go with the same line of Jellycat and are so glad we did! Perfect size for taking newborn pics and the weighted bottom makes it nice and poseable (and stays in place with baby on the floor etc). Extremely happy with our purchase of this precious droopy-eared pup! (And can t deny the Fox and the Hound theme is pretty darn cute for a pair of brothers too). 5Make sure you purchase from a trusted merchantI was searching for a stuffed elephant for my young son. Amazon search led me to the highly Jellycat toys and I purchased my first (this elephant). It was cute but darker than anticipated but overall the product was fine. I since purchased the Jellycat panda (in a store) which I noticed was slightly bigger, slightly heavier, more weighted at the bottom and overall of better quality. The tag on the panda was also bigger. I chalked up the differences to being different animals but yesterday I saw a Jellycat elephant in the store. Weight, size and feel were the same as the panda. The tags were also the same. The color was also lighter, closer to a blueish gray in the image rather than the navy blue I received.My 2 star rating is because I believe the elephant I received from Amazon 3rd party (Shallen) is an imitation. I did reach out to Amazon and their customer service is excellent as always. Just wanted to post this as a warning to others. Photo of both elephants has been posted. 2Unconvinced that this is a legitimate Jelly Cat.Unconvinced that this is a legitimate Jelly Cat. It does NOT have a tail as pictured in the photos on the Amazon page or Jelly Cat website. Does anyone else think these are fake? Added a pic of his booty, you decide! 3 stars until my concerns are alleviated... 3Adorable cuddly fox friendAdorable cuddly fox friend! Our 11.5mo has loved "Mr. Fox" for months now, and has grown especially attached recently. He hugs and kisses and feeds and pets his fox :)It's the perfect size stuffed animal, not too small or too big. So far, it's been hardy against all of my son's "love" and necessary washing.I'll probably be ordering another as backup. 5I adore Jellycat Cordy Roys! Only flaw is the neck area looses stuffing after a few monthsI love the Jellycat brand - particularly their Cordy Roy line. Their cordy animals are all so adorable and very soft with nice tactile texture of the wide wale corduroy for babies and little kids. My son has 3, his favorite, a dark brown cordy hound dog, an orange cordy anteater, and the latest, this cordy fox which is my favorite! I love the contrasting orange and white, where as my son's other two are just one solid color. The Jellycat instructions say not to wash these, however, they have been washed NUMEROUS times with no problems! I first started out washing them (front loader machine on delicate cycle) in a pillowcase and them air drying them, but the last few times I've just thrown them in the regular wash, sans pillowcase and then into the dyer as well and they've come out exactly the same. I mean if your kid carries them around and sleeps with them every night you HAVE to wash them regularly, right?My only complaint is that in my son's first two cordy animals the stuffing in the neck area and upper chest area has seemed to either greatly compress or shift down into the body and does not remain in the neck area after a few months. Because of this, when sat up, the animal's head slumps down and doesn't remain upright anymore. This may be due to me washing them in the machine (but seriously, I've HAD to wash them - my son carries them everywhere and they end up in the dirt or floors of public places occasionally and need to be cleaned) or due to the fact that he carries and sleeps with them with his arm underneath the neck area, regardless they are still cute in spite of the slumping. I sew, so I plan to open up both animals along the back seam by the neck area and add some polyfill pillow stuffing; due to the thick wide wale corduroy material, once I whipstitch the seam closed, it should be almost invisible.I bought the fox as a replacement for "Arty", his orange cordy roy anteater as that was his first Jellycat and it's about had it! The fox is adorable and orange too, but he hasn't taken to it yet as its not his beloved much loved, but beat up anteater. I'm sure in time he will love it as much. I need to find another brown hound dog for a backup, but it's been discontinued so I guess I'll have to hunt down one on Ebay! If you like this fox, buy it now because the company does discontinue the animal models after awhile so they can release new ones. 4
