We didnt have some cutting toys, I bought this ...We didnt have some cutting toys, I bought this for my 3yrs girl, she so loves it. And also this toys have no smelly, safety for little kids. 5Cute, but safety riskWARNING: SAFETY RISK!! This play food set is really cute and my toddlers love to fasten and unfasten the velcroed pieces. This would be a five star item except for the fact that it's a safety risk. The watermelon, specifically, has a raised brittle edge which started to break shortly after we first received it. It left little, very sharp, shards of plastic in its wake. The orange and apple seem to have the same design, but I pulled them before they could break in the same way. 2My son like to cook food for meIt's very interesting for kids and no smell. My son like to cook food for me ! 5Funny, colorful kitchen play toysNot only I love it, the more important is, my kid loves it! I bought this for my daughter, since she is a girl, she loves playing with this "kitchen plays". Now she can has her own knife, pizza, fruits and veggies to cut and play with! There is even a cutting board and a serving plate!It's so colorful and have lots of varieties in the veggies and fruits, all pieces are large enough that she can't put it in completely and swallow it, even she wants to... so it is kinda kid-safe toy!Build quality is good, no sharp edges nor corners.A nice bag is give to collect and stow after playing, recommended kitchen play toy. 5cutting cutting cuttingMy son loves this fruit n vegetable cutting set so much. When I working in the kitchen, he always wanted to help before. Now instead, he sits in the living room cutting these brightly-colored fruits and vegetables. Sometimes, when his dad came back, he put some of them on the plate and invited him to taste. He did get lots of fun from the toys and practice the hand skills too. It s still a bit hard for him to master but with my help he s got it pretty well and is so proud of himself. Here are some pros and cons:Pros:They are a great size and color to play with imagination and pretend. The sticky parts do not come off easily and they stuck together really well. They are cut perfectly in the middle and easy to cut for small hands. Great gift!Cons:The Knife it comes with moves from side to side after cutting with it for a while, almost as if it'll break But hasn t broken yet.Overall I would highly suggest this to a friend. My sons friend also has a great time with this when he comes to play! 4My son loves it :)This set is fun and my son loves it. He's almost 7, so probably a bit above the target age for this toy, but he still likes to pretend a lot, and we homeschool so he has plenty of time for creative play. He really liked that the pieces have velcro so he can pretend to cut them - the velcro sticks really well so he actually has to push to "cut" the fruit. Your child will need some dexterity to do it - maybe at least 5? The set comes in a clear plastic backpack and it all fits back in easily - not one of things where only the robots at the factory can fit it all in there :) 5but I like that it takes so much concentrationPurchased these for my nephew's playroom. They really work well for dexterity, which was the purpose of my purchase. They're made of a hard hollow plastic and stick together with Velcro. The Velcro can be a little difficult at first to cut through, but I like that it takes so much concentration. The paint details are very nice and for the price I am very happy with this purchase. I have my nephew at least once a week (he's two) and even with a room full of toys, he plays with these almost every time he's there. I can seen that the storage bag may not last very long with rough play, but we've had this set over a year and it's still fine... even if it wasn't it's still worth the price. 5Hours of fun for toddlers!Keeps my toddler happily occupied. He enjoys cutting/pulling apart the little foods, lining them up and matching them. The cutting board is cute, it's smooth plastic so not really useable as a cutting surface, we just put the toys right on the carpet. The knife is not very sturdy but it serves its purpose to help little ones work on their dexterity and muscle memory; it just requires pushing a little harder through the velcro. It's a great toy for a great price! 5Good but some flawsI bought this on a whim, as it was on a lightning deal. I bought it as a gift from Santa for this Christmas thinking that it would be one of those filler gifts. To my surprise my toddler really love this toy. The size of the food is okay. But my only warnings are there are some of the fruit like the watermelon that has sharp edges, whereas some of the other fruit had smoother rounded edges. You are not going to cut yourself just by touching it, but you might cut your finger if you run it along the edge of those fruit pieces fast enough (like a paper cut). The cutting board and knife are too small compared to the foods you are given. Also the Velcro on the foods are super strong, so I always have to help my toddler cut them foods. But overall good by, would by again. 4
