Customer Reviews

Order lots of extras!!!!!I bought 30 of these balls to use as "core memory" party favors for our daughter's Inside Out birthday party. Once my husband started inflating them with the air compressor some would just explode without getting much air in, and others would hold air for a few minutes before they would just start spontaneously popping. I ordered enough to allow extras, but after it was said and done we were down to 19 balls out of 30. Very disappointing. The plastic is very thin, but the ones that didn't pop seem to be ok for now- not sure how long they'll last. 2These balls are a lot of fun! These balls are very lightweight, very easy to fill, and very bouncy. We have fun throwing them, kicking them and bouncing them around the house because we're not afraid that they'll damage anything. A wide variety of ages can use these balls whether it's a toddler learning to roll, throw, kick and catch or an older kid playing dodgeball with his siblings :) They balls are very bright and colorful with colors to appeal to any child. Make sure you have an air pump of sorts, like a basketball or bicycle pump. If you do, getting them filled up will be a breeze! 5Meh....smaller than I thought. Two stars because my son likes them. However these are much smaller than you might expect. I was expecting your standard backyard ball size and these are really not much bigger than a dryer ball or softball. The plastic seems flimsier than other balls I have bought from retail stores and the knobs aren't even around the ball. There are patches with missing knobs. But like I said, my son does like them even choosing to forego his bottle this morning because he was too excited by the balls. So the two stars are from him though I wish I hadn't purchased them. 2Sturdy enough for classrooms or parties, great non-video-game toy - for toddlers to adults - great for ballroom dancing practiceAre you trying to add fun to some kid's life without adding "screen minutes"? Are you in charge of organizing fun, indoor group activities? Do you take dancing lessons? These balls should be useful to you in each of those contexts. Like the brand name "Gertie Balls" from the eighties, these bounce, but can be gripped and have a slightly tacky (and nubble-y) surface, making them great for toddlers just learning how to catch a ball. There are five in the set, so even if one should pop, you'll have a spare, or you could keep them in various spots - at the grandparents', in a vehicle, a boat, or an RV, for livening up a dull afternoon or a rainy day. They are much like a balloon in the sense that they are light and relatively safe for indoor games (think birthday parties, indoor recess, visits with grandparents). Like a balloon, they will pop if pierced, but they are plenty strong and as long as you don't abuse them, there's no reason they should pop (they would probably be OK in a pool, as long as you didn't leave them in the chlorinated water or sun for too long, and maybe a quiet game on a grassy lawn or similar space, but other outdoor play is probably too likely to lead to popping; they might be good as a bath toy, but I haven't tried them in water, so I don't have info on that and I'd worry a little about soaps compromising the surface, especially over time). You can buy a simple pump to inflate/deflate them (and they hold air either indefinitely or for a very long time - at least months, in our experience) and at a low inflation size, they are perfect to place between you and your partner for ballroom dancing (helps maintain a better frame). But mainly, they are just a really fun, open-ended toy, ready to inspire creative fun! 5Summer Fun in the TrampolineAll the balls were thrown in our trampoline so the kids could play dodge ball. Definitely served its purpose!!! Balls lasted about one summer....they either popped or lost air somehow and wouldn't blow back up. But for the price and the fun the kids had with them, it was alright with me. Some of the colors, and I can't remember which ones, were blown up bigger than the others. Not like that matters much, but they were not all the same size. Kind of like when you get a back of balloons and some colors blown up bigger than others. 5Don t over inflateDo come deflated, inflate easily with a ball pump. Careful not to over inflate, I did this with the purple one and it popped like a balloon. The knobs make it the balls easy to grab for little hands. 4Good for the price.for the price, I'm giving this 4/5 stars. The balls seemed to be made of a lesser quality plastic and made of two halves glued together (i can *See* the glue where they were pieced together). They did not come inflated, but we have an air compressor so that was not a problem. You could even use a bicycle pump, as long as you have the needle head part, as that is what is needed to inflate these. BUT for the price, $7 for FIVE OF THEM, i'm not sure why people expect the world out of these, true therapy balls cost significantly more than these do.For the price, I think these are just fine. They do have the knobs to provide a sensory experience for children. They're small, so great for the hands of small children. 4These are fun to play withThese are fun to play with. I was looking for balls I could play dodgeball and a few other games with without "breaking the bank." I was worried about the knobs but they are no issue. They are similar to thick balloons but after multiple hours with 60 high-schoolers we have only managed to pop two. Not sure the reason, but when they are thrown hard across a basketball court they can have a wicked curve which makes them even more fun to play dodgeball or similar with. 5Not good for young childrenvery thin material. One ball popped when i was inflating it. Then another popped and it wasn't even fully inflated. Not good for young children, it's a choking haard. I purchased these for my 2 1/2 year old. Not durable at all! 1Disappointed - ripped knobsPretty poor quality, a lot of the knobs are already torn off. This makes me worry the kids will ingest plastic/rubber pieces. These balls had been recommended by early intervention for playtime and sensory but I think I ll just throw them out and seek a higher quality 3
