Goes everywhere We call this little doll "Penny" and she goes everywhere with us. Baby girl has loved it from the time we bought it a few months ago and still loves it at 13 months old. We hear her jingling her in the back seat when we drive. Not sure if you're supposed to machine wash her or not, but we do and she comes out well, except for some condensation in the rattle on her front. She clips onto the car seat or the cart at the store so she doesn't get lost. The only problem is now there's a tear where the ring attaches to her head. I recommend this to keep babies entertained day after day. 5The leader of the pack, doll wise. . . So far, I have bought four My Friend Emily dolls over five years, for every girl baby to come into my personal circle. (The boy babies get other Lamaze animals. I wish Lamaze made a boy figure, too.) She is just the best first dolly. The ring will attach to a carrier. Her face is great for first focus, her colors are bright and various. Her clothes crinkle, which is one of the first sounds that one can tell a baby is intrigued by. She does not weight much, but is a size that is big enough to hold early and for a long time, as a cuddle friend. She will survive cleaning. In the event she gets lost or destroyed, she is easy to replace for the same reasonable money she cost in the first place. Emily will not lead a gift giver astray. Lots of toy figures will join the collection, but she will always be the first dolly, with a lot of charm and engagement. 5Fun cute doll I love this dolls colors and features. It really does cathe the attention of a baby. I have purchased 2 and will now be buying a 3rd for my second baby. They dont get dirty easily and it's a great carseat or crib toy as well. 5Great for young baby My daughter is two months old and loves this doll hanging in her pack and play. She pulls on her dress to make it crinkle and loves looking at her smiling face which makes my daughter smile too. I would definitely recommend this as a great gift for someone expecting a young baby! 5gaga for dolly My baby has been gaga over this doll since she was 6 weeks old. She stared at it at first, then begin smiling, now at 3 months she kicks, coos, and gurgles everytime she sees Emily. This is the first toy she responded too and it is by far her favorite. Her 8-month old cousin loves it too. She grabs it whenever she can and shakes the rattle and uses the teethers to soothe her gums. Its fun to see this doll work for both babies. The colors are bright and the crinkle noises and rattles are so fun it really gets both girls excited. I just ordered one for the cousin and I will buy this doll for all future babies in the family! and for friends too! I highly recommend... 5Colorful, tactile fun I bought this for my five-month-old daughter and she seems to like it. The rings on the doll's hand are easy for her to grasp, and as with anything that goes in my daughter's hands, she puts it directly to her mouth to gnaw on it. This doll is bigger than I anticipated, which is great, as is the bright color scheme. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five, is because the doll's entire dress is lined with loud crinkly material. It sometimes startles my daughter! I think it would be more appealing if just the hem was crinkly, but we still love this toy. 4Cutest little doll The pictures don't do Emily justice. She is precious. Someone said the ring hit her baby in the head when she was playing with it not dangling from a loop. However, I thought the hook could be cut off somehow so it would "grow" into a doll. Sure enough there is a fabric loop holding the hefty ring. So, when my granddaughter to sit up and play with a doll, that loop can go away.Emily is so preciously cute. I couldn't believe how cute it was. I love dolls and am pretty demanding, but Emily passed. She was my granddaughter's first doll and I hope she grows to really love it. 5much bigger and cuter then pictured When I first saw Emily on Amazon, I thought this would be perfect for my three month old since she is just now getting into loving toys (that are appropriate for her age). It had lots of little tinkling things for her to play with and learn on, but I was wondering if 10 bucks was a little high for it. I went ahead and got it thinking it was going be a little bit smaller as just a regular little doll. When the package came, much to my amay, I found it much bigger then what is pictured! It's about half a three month old's size and it's so neat! The little skirt make sounds, the rattle on the neck, twisty toe hair and ties for the shoes, teether from the hands and not to mention I can put it on her car seat to play with when we go to the store or restaurant to keep her entertained and she loved it! She got so excited the first time I gave it to her! Great 5 stars and well worth the money! 5Great for early learning and development! We bought this for our baby daughter at 6 weeks, and she immediately engaged with it, she loves it more and more every day. The toy has nice bright contrasting colors, is a good size for little ones' grasp, and makes interesting and stimulating noises and sounds. Would highly recommend, even for newborn!Side note: the doll I received is not exactly as pictured- the rattle is attached to the hand, and it does not have teether rings. Irregardless, I'm giving it 5 stars because my baby loves it. But buyer beware: it's just not quite as pictured. I'd say it's actually probably cuter than as advertised. 5Very engaging My baby really seems to enjoy this doll. The crinkly dress is VERY noisy, so if your baby likes that sort of thing, this will be a hit. My daughter also loves the rattle necklace. It's very cute and the little balls make a nice sound. She loves the little curled ribbons on the shoes and hair too! The only reason I didn't give it five stars is I don't like her eyes. I know they probably are meant to be visually stimulating with the contrast, but I think they are ugly. 4
