    30 of 44 lights did not workDO NOT BUY. Of the 44 (not 48) pieces that arrived, the light worked on only 14 units. 30 units did not work. What a waste. I'm glad I checked them the day before the birthday party -- now I have to go out and buy a substitute item at the local store. Wish I could give no stars for this experience. 1So so...I bought these for my classroom to help students engage in reading our whole class novel. I have between 30-33 students per class. Only about 22 of the 48 work and several of them completely fell apart. They did not come in the packaging shown but were shipped in a bag. Batteries were everywhere and I can't see that I'll be able to fix the damaged ones. I will add them to my prize box rather than give one to each student since there are not enough working ones. 3Occupational Therapist with kids who have visual impairmentsSaw smiles from several kids who seldom know how to change their facial expressions! This guys have severe visual and other developmental challenges. Turn the lights off, shine them on a glossy surface, on the ceiling, on "Heads, shoulders, knees, toes" and not only do they re-discover them, they also learn or review where their fingers are. Play the Jumping Frogs game (Amazon has it!) with these lights attached to the frogs, and watch the frogs do flips with the heavy lighted "backpacks" strapped around them. Place one finger light inside the container in which you want them to grasp and release objects, or a makeshift garage where they can push a small car into. Build on these ideas and see what works with children on your caseload or in your family. 5TWO of every THREE Do Not Work!Although I should be please that two out of every three lights actually DO WORK, it is sad that this product is sold on Amazon. Of course Amazon's customer-centric policies are the reason we all have joined the cult, there should be some quality control policies related to such items. One third of my order simply does not work. That is one out of every 3! I know I am being redundant. So plan to order 50% more than you need or want so that when you throw away the wasted plastic you will end up with your desired working quantity.Update 10/28/13: First a note that this shipment did NOT arrive on individual cards. Indeed the lights were bulk shipped in plastic bags. This caused at least one in ten to be shifted into the 'on' position during shipment and resulted in DOA items. Therefore I need to change my estimate of how many lights did work versus did NOT work. Well over half of these either do/did not work at all or they stopped working within an hour or the light emitted was less than 10% of what the 'good' lights emit. I would judge this purchase to be LESS THAN ONE-THIRD useful! Overall a HUGE disappointment for my children's Halloween party last weekend. 2False Advertising - they do NOT come on cardsFalse advertising - this product has an incorrect description. The main reason I chose these were the cute packaging (4 finger lights to a cute card shaped like a hand) since I was using them for birthday party favors. The description says they come 4 to a card. I received a package with 48 individual lights thrown together in an envelope (and 6-8 of them did not work at all). I do understand that these lights are cheap; however, I do expect to get what is displayed in the product picture and in the product description. I should have read all the reviews of this product before I purchased them since I discovered that others have had the same problem. 1Horrible product! Avoid buying!If it was possible to give zero stars I would. First, this product arrived loose -not in the fun blister pack as specifically shown in the picture AND mentioned in the product detail. When I picked up the bag of loose lights, five batteries fell out of the packaging. This alone is extremely dangerous as I have small children in my home. When I dumped the contents of the bag out on the counter there were broken pieces everywhere (see photos). There were batteries, light bulbs, empty shells, empty rings that went on the front of the lights. 25% of the lights were turned on. Another 25% of them didn't work at all. This was an absolutely horrible purchase and I hope this review prevents others from having to scramble to fill birthday party favor bags as I ended up doing. 1CheapI got these because they were the cheapest per unit price when I bought them. They are also low quality and don't last too long. For my purposes, that was OK. The glue around the edges of the packaging wasn't holding up very well. I used these to shine on hurricane balls and to give out to gain attention for my organization at my university. The sliding button to turn the lights on and off didn't work very well. The finger straps were pretty constricting for adult hands. I ordered this particular product because of the promise that it would be an even assortment of colors (because there would be one of each on each of the 12 cards). In addition, several of the lights were already turned on in the package and the lights were dim on those and we threw them out. I did not test all of the ones that did not appear to be on, so am hoping none of those are burnt out. The ones that the kids have used so far do have a nice bright beam - so that is a plus. 2Packaging not as described. Very disappointed. 51/144 workedSo disappointed. I purchased this without checking reviews. I will never do that again. I purchased 3 sets of these for a school dance glow party. I chose this item because they were suppose to come as pictured in packaging (based on the description). They were going to be giveaways. Instead they came loose in a box and some in a plastic bag. Out of 144 only 51 worked!!!!!! Some of the lights were dimmed and the others just did not work. 1Kids love these thingsCamping we started a "Electrical Parade" with music. We use these and Glowstick braclets mixed colors. This is the 2nd year I ordered these. I ordered 2 packages of 48. Out of 86 two didn't work right away (had to wiggle batteries) and 1 had broken rubber band. Kids love these things, they spin in circles at night and pretend they are the lady bug from Walt's Electrical Parade.Pros: Cheap and super easy to use. Kids can put them on, even my 2 1/2 year old. Bright and last for days. Colors are evenly paired for 4 each hand. Kids love them.Cons: Maybe the rubberband holders could be a bit more sturdy, but not a deal breaker. We used these for a week without issue. 4
