    Ours doesn't workI ordered this for my 10 year old, thinking that it's a screen so it might be more interesting than flash cards and he can practice it on his own. Unfortunately, it doesn't work properly. I put brand new batteries in and when I turn it on I can flip between Level I and Level II but no matter what buttons we push, we can't get math problems to show up on "LI." When we switch to "L2" we get math equations after pressing "Enter." But if we switch back to "LI" and hit "Enter" nothing happens. Sure, our kid might not need Level I but I still want a brand new product to work properly. Very disappointing! 1My child doesn t like playing with thisI bought this device to help my eight year old with learning multiplication tables. I thought it would help make the learning process more fun but my child became frustrated with it and stopped playing with it. I think one of the main issues for my child is that you can t specify which numbers to work on and it just gives you a random assortment of multiplication problems. For example, my daughter s class is working on the 4 s one week and then the 5 s the following week and they haven t learned the higher numbers so she could answer a lot of the problems the device asked. It is divided between two levels which helped a little, but unless you ve learned all your times tables, this isn t the best tool. 2Number format is weirdIt works fine, my issue is the actual design of the game and the number placement. The numbers are not placed in the standard 1-3, 4-6, 7-9, then 0 at last line format. It s in a two line format in order 0-4 then 5-9. Doesn t seem like a big deal, but it does make it confusing for kids to find and push correct numbers. 3Don't waste your money!Didn't work. Turns off and on, moved from level 2 to level 1. Doesn't work past that. Gave as a Easter Gift. Return window shut on 4/19. I'm out the money. Rat Bastards!!! 1Good purchaseMy 9 year old was having problems with mastering her times tables. We did a number of computer apps. Many were good, but didn't provide my daughter with the motivation or portability she/we needed. This is a good old fashions digital game that you can easily take in the car or any where. She thinks it is fun. She plays with this way more than the computer math apps. I wish this also had division on it, but even without that, I highly recommend. I also bought the Educational Insights Math Whiz because that had the division (plus addition and subtraction). That one is okay too, but my daughter likes the Multiplication Master best because of the screen size. 5Really helped my daughter who hates mathReally helped my daughter with her multiplication skills. She was 3 grade levels behind and she s finally catching up. She has an attention affliction and dyslexia but this made it fun for her and she didn t get distracted from it easily. Held her focus which is not easy to do. We have two younger children though who get annoyed when she s practicing though because either we haven t figured out how to turn off the beeping or turn the volume down lower its fairly loud in our small area. Other than that it s wonderful 4Can't figure out how to get started. No instructions ...Can't figure out how to get started. No instructions included. Googled the product and watched the video, but no help. 1LOVE This and have bought for each child. I wanted something "old-school" and NOT internet based. Also has a "no-sound" option.This is the third one I have bought, because I have each child use one at the same time while we drive in the car: a.k.a. "car school."Originally, I had only one and had them sharing and it was a pain. I had the first one for several YEARS, before finally getting two more.I like that this is simple and easy to use and is not connected to an internet based smart phone or tablet.Batteries last a LONG time.I wanted something "old-school"!!!It makes sounds, but there is an EASY way to silence it so save the manual. 5My daughter really enjoyed this. Level one let's you choose a table ...My daughter really enjoyed this. Level one let's you choose a table to work with. It then times you for a minute and gives you only problems from that times table. If you make a mistake, you have one chance to fix it. It gives you a score at the end of a minute. My daughter loved seeing how her score changed after just 15 minutes of focusing on one table. Repeat nightly with different tables.Level 2 Is mixed review, also timed and scored for one minute. We haven't gotten there yet. 5My third graders love this!Awesome product for motivating my students to memorize their multiplication facts! Every Friday we have what I call tournament. I put the children in groups of four, I give them this device, and they get two tries to get a top score. The top score gets a prize. If I forget to do tournament on Fridays oh man do they remind me! Lol. When are we going to do tournament?! And two of my students bought this product to use at home. Wonderful, wonderful device! The kids love it! 5
