Customer Reviews

Just as it says, don't expect anything more. But that is good Right? Now I'm not gonna say these are really good cards, they aren't even worth buying unless you know how to build a deck. With these expect a lot of cards you won't use, and perhaps a few useful ones (if you have decks already built).I bought these expecting them to be like this, don't buy in hopes of mythics or planeswalkers. However, I'm not going to give this a bad review for some card I didn't get. This is just as it advertises, random cards, 100 of them, for 9 bucks. Can't beat it. It doesn't promise anything worth a lot anyways. Take it at face value, 100 assorted rare/uncommon MTG cards, that is basically what it is. 5good purchase, nothing valuableI purchased two of these from Super Games Inc. and wanted to let other possible buyers know what they will be receiving. This is a great way to expand your card collection for a CASUAL player.Just a quick overview of both purchases together:There is 10 rares (first pack of 10 were all older cards from Urza's Destiny/Legacy) and 90 uncommon cards in each 100ct package. There is a wide range of sets from 1998 to 2014 (leave a comment if you are interested in knowing what sets). There is 3 white bordered cards, 9 double duplicates (18 cards total), no commons, no mythics and no foreign cards. All card values range from .03 cents to .15 cents (According to TCGPlayer.com). A few cards had a little bit of rough edges but nothing that would make them less than near mint condition. The cards come packaged in separate resealable plastic sleeves with 10 rares, 50 uncommons and 50 uncommons and in a deck sized box. (Thought the boxes would make a nice storage deck box)All in all, I would not look to buy this if you are seeking super rare or highly sought for cards (not to be compared to boosters, you may have better chances of rarer cards in a booster). This is more for expanding decks for casual play. I would not bank on getting a huge mix of sets and low duplicates. 4Depends on the seller/vendorI purchased two of these - one from CCG Unlimited and one from Hotsauce Gaming. The cards from CCG were from the newest blocks and seemed to be sorted out as evenly as possible between colors, card types, etc. There were no duplicates and all cards were in great shape. The cards were also decent, useful cards. There were 10 rares, all of which were from the RtR block....all the uncommon were either Khans or M15, which was interesting. I would have liked a little more variety on blocks and such, but I'm definitely satisfied with this purchase. Recommended.Hotsauce - These were a little more varied...cards came from lots of different blocks including Theros, RtR, original Ravnica, New Phrexia, Mirrodin, Coldsnap, Innistrad, and several others. Overall the cards weren't amazing but I did like the variety of the blocks. There were some duplicates, but not an excessive amount. All cards were in great shape. The cards weren't very powerful, but maybe it was just my package. If you're like me and were curious about the older blocks in addition to the new, this might be ideal. Overall, I'm content with the purchase. If you remember you're not going to find some crazy awesome or valuable cards, then this is a pretty decent purchase for sure. 4Not Great, but not bad eitherSo, first of all, I have to say that I'm old enough to remember when trading cards were something you got at 7-11 for a dime a pack, and you got some really hard bubble gum with them. I can remember blowing a dollar (4 week's allowance) on ten packs of cards, looking for that elusive Roger Staubach card, and tearing each pack open with high expectations, only to get a bunch of stuff I already had. So believe me, I know what it means to get a random bundle of trading cards. It appears that there are about 20 companies selling these sets through Amazon, and I'm guessing from the reviews that some are better than others. My experience was with 320G.So, let me first comment on some other reviews. To many of you, all I can say is:"RTFD", or, Read the Freaking Description, to put it politely. It CLEARLY says that you will get cards from Beta to Morradin Beseiged, and if you're up on things like that, it means the odds are against you receiving any Standard Format-legal cards. It says mint or near mint condition, so obiously worn or damaged cards should be returned. It also says no commons, foreign cards, or foils, so if you did get some of these, I hope you complained to the seller. It doesn't say no duplicates, it doesn't advertise a mix of colors or that any of the cards will be useful to you. There is also no promise that the value of the individual cards will excede the selling price (although at $0.10 a card, I think you get a good value no matter what). You get what you get and you don't get upset. Again, though, if you got a large number of duplicates, especially those of you who got octuplets or septuplets, I would complain to the seller. There is no obligation, but any reputable business wants its customers to be satisfied. So, I got 99 cards, no more than 2 of any one card, and only 6 sets of dupes. All were mint or near mint condition. The kicker on mine was only ONE rare card in the whole set. So, to keep to my own standards, no one promised 10% rares. Still, I think that's a little outside the range of acceptable. So, I will be contacting the seller to see what he will do to make that right. Even so, I think this is a pretty good deal and will probably do it again. 3Couldn't be happier with this purchase!!!!I will admit I was really skeptical buying this because some of the reviews were not too great, but I have to say I am super impressed!!! My boyfriend has recently started teaching me how to play and has been taking me to tournaments, so of course I have been buying large lots of cards to build my own collection. I got maybe one or two duplicates of a few Uncommon cards but they are still really good cards!! I even got a couple of rare cards I have been looking everywhere for!! I will definitely be buying this again soon!!! Couldn't be happier!!! 5Good Cards but Not All That RareI have given this some time since I was using this purchase to help put together a deck for me to learn with. I want to start by saying all my cards were in great condition. If some had a little tiny bit of wear, I didn't notice it by just looking with the untrained eye and I want to play with them, not search for scratches under a magnifier so the claim that they were in excellent condition, I agree with. I could not tell these from the ones I did buy brand new out of the box as far as condition goes. So all that is great and I am happy with my purchase especially since I only had 4-6 duplicates and they were only doubles and not 10 or so of the same card. I took one star off simply because they were some uncommon/rare ones but not many. They were all good cards, just not rare. 4120 duplicates out of 300 cards.after looking around at reviews of several options, this one looked the most legit. so i ordered 3 packages (300 cards), and they got here 48 hours later with prime.Opened the first pack, top 5 cards are rares, solid ones, a few of which i have been using to wreak havoc in casual games w friends. a whole bunch of uncommon silvers under that, and then rounded out some commons toward the bottom, with only 1 card with a duplicate (one other copy). A few random old generation cards too, powerful ones tho. I was impressed, the cards were mostly respectable, of course you get a lot of stuff that youll never use but especially for just starting out, this isnt a bad way to go. ya gotta begin somewhere. However, the following 2 packages (200 cards) were nearly exact replicas of eachother. Cards 1-5 in each deck were different rares, thankfully, for a total of 10 good to extremely awesome gold rares. The following cards 6-100 in BOTH DECKS, were the same in each package. There were exactly 2 of each card, sorted in perfect alphabetical order and by color (since i had 2 packages i now have 4 copies of each of these cards). After being so pleased with the first package, i really didnt mind much, as a lot of the cards from packages 2 and 3 were actually usable, many good cards. The price is extremely reasonable but i think it is risky because it seems like they are randomly factory assembled or something. If i had only ordered one package and it turned out to be #2 or #3 i woulda been pissed.Overall, for 25 bucks to add 300 cards to my collection (really only around 180 individual cards sans duplcates), that aint too bad. Your best luck for getting awesome cards is locating hobby shops and specialty gaming stores in your area with big mtg collections, they usually have awesome deals where you can handpick rare/uncommon cards like 3-4 for a dollar. At least that way you have control over your deck building and wont be paying for a bunch of fluff and filler cards youll never use.An OK purchase i guess, seller should be more specific about duplication. 2Exactly what I expected...I purchased 2 sets of 100, one from allrealitygames and one from Super Games Inc. I did this so that I could kind of compare and contrast. Both orders had very few duplicates, and a good distribution of colors. I was actually a little disappointed there weren't more duplicates, because now I'm gonna have to find singles of the good cards if I'm going to try and build a deck around them (this is mostly facetious). I'm very much a new player (these are technically the first cards that are 100% "mine"). All in all, I think it's a great start for me. I got some decent cards, and I can just search for some more to fill in the gaps. My expectations were definitely met on these orders, and I'd recommend finding either of these two sellers when you go to checkout. This whole process was/is kind of addicting to me, so odds are I'll buy another set from another seller - fingers cross for some foil/mythics that got mixed in accidentally....Allrealitygames:These cards simply came wrapped in paper. It got the job done - nothing special. All of the cards were just in this "deck" in no particular order. All cards are in good condition, and a lot of them are older - very few from the more recent sets. Lots of "white-bordered" cards, and a number had no rarity indicator (noted below). For those, I simply looked up the card online to see what the googlenet says. I also plugged a number of this into mtgprice.com and I'd say I could probably turn a profit on these if I could manage to find buyers. Nothing was worth a ton, but almost all the uncommons were still worth ~$0.30.White: (8 cards)4 rare1 uncommon1 common1 unmarked (rare)1 unmarked (uncommon)Green: (11 cards)1 rare6 uncommon1 common2 unmarked ("special")1 unmarked (uncommon)Red: (12 cards)1 rare6 uncommon4 unmarked (rare)1 unmarked (uncommon)Blue: (30 cards)4 rare25 uncommon*1 unmarked (uncommon)Black: (12 cards)11 uncommon1 unmarked (rare)Colorless: (23 cards)23 uncommon**Multicolored: (12 cards)2 rare10 uncommonTotal: (108 cards)12 rare82 uncommon6 unmarked (rare)4 unmarked (uncommon)2 unmarked ("special")2 common*A number of these cards are really old, and they seem to have been reprinted in future sets with different rarities. ex: Invisibility**These were all in order in the pack, so I'm assuming they just grabbed a clump of colorless artifact equipment and threw them in. I was a little disappointed by this, a bunch of dupes in this section (2-3 of each equipment)Super Games:These were delivered in a little cardboard box. The rares were in a little plastic sleeve for all 10 of them. There were two separate plastic-sleeved packs of ~50 uncommon cards. All of these cards are in great condition, and mostly from newer sets. I'm assuming this card shop is a little fancier, which to me says, "yeah, we're gonna give you what you order, but don't expect any surprises." Which explains why there were exactly 10 rares and almost exactly 90 uncommons. (Compared to the other set I got where it felt more random and hopeful that I'd find something awesome)White: (14 cards)1 rare13 uncommonGreen: (15 cards)3 rare12 uncommonRed: (16 cards)0 rare16 uncommonBlue: (18 cards)1 rare17 uncommonBlack: (13 cards)1 rare12 uncommonColorless: (19 cards)1 rare18 uncommonMulticolored: (7 cards)3 rare4 uncommonTotal: (102 cards)10 rare92 uncommon 5eh, pretty dissapointedThe reviews seemed pretty ok. Had high hopes, but sadly was let down. Got 2 packs. Both packs had 107 cards. No lands in either. No mythic in either. Both had gratuitous amounts of multi colored cards. Both had a couple of commons in each, maybe 4 in one, 2 in the other. Both had about 20 rare cards each with multiple duplicates of those cards. Most of the uncommon cards were duplicates. Lots of 3 counts with a few 6 counts and even an 8 count.A few of the cards out of each pack were in horrible condition. Maybe 3 that were chipped, bent, and water damage. Another 4 that I would call 'lightly played'.The rest of the cards were in mint/brand new. Everything was from more recent expansions. Probably won't buy from here again, not worth my money to just throw some cards away and hope I can sell some of the duplicate cards. 1Only Dropping A Star For Slow Shippingshipping took a few weeks, but over all i find this a great buyall the other reviews complaining about not getting cards worth much need to shop smarter. any cards worth decent money are going to be sold separately - not in a pack like thisi actually ended up getting 112 cards, all uncommon or rare, with two legendary12 black18 white5 red13 blue13 green29 artifact22 multi-coloryes i did get a few duplicates, of which were 2 Band Ally Broker, 2 Witches Eye, 7 Wurm's Tooth, 6 Gargoyle Sentinel, 2 Warlord's Axe, 7 Sorcerer's Strongbox, 3 Vanquish the Foul, 4 Roc Egg, 2 Heliod's Emissary, and 3 Corrupt.some of these duplicates i'm going to use in a deck for sure so i'm actually happy i got more than 1 - the most duplicates i got were artifactsthe newest cards i saw were M14, but i can't say about the oldest (i'm don't know all the generation names)overall - i'd say about 1/4th of these will find a place in some of my existing decks (i'm not a crazy player, most my cards are super old - it's just a fun game) so if you want some random cards, some decent, others not, great buy. if you're looking to build a deck to win, not to play, buy all your cards separately. i'm actually going to a draft tonight so depending on when i get there i might order another random set 4
