    I love McFarlane walking dead Building SetsOne more walking dead Building Set to add to my collection :). I love putting these together. So far I have Daryl with Chopper. The RV, Tower, and the Governors room. very happy with purchase 5Falls Apart, But Nice DetailI'm a Walking Dead fan like many people who are looking to buy this build a set from McFarlane Torys. I held off buying it for a while because of the price, but when I saw it as an Amazon deal for $14.99 I pulled the trigger.Now I'm wishing I would have kept my money.First, the good stuff. The detail on these small pieces is quite impressive. And that's about where the good stuff ends.Don't buy this if you have bad vision. It's easy to get the road, dirt, and guard rail together. Those are basically lego pieces. When you move onto the bike you won't be able to see what goes where. It's too small to see.Again the flat pieces, the guard rail, and the interstate sign are basically lego pieces. Once in place they'll stay in place. However, the pieces for the bike, Daryl, and the zombie won't stick together. The bike parts were constantly falling apart. The kick stand, exhaust pipe, and crossbow do not fit in the holes designed to hold them. I decided, after many many attempts, this bike doesn't need an exhaust pipe or a kickstand.With all the other lock in pieces McFarlane added in this set they should have also made Daryl lock into the bike or put a peg(?) that Daryl sits on. As it is, you have to balance him on the bike and pray he doesn't fall off.The grass won't fit in the holes either. It got frustrating after the first few kept falling over so, I quit.Same thing with the zombie. The directions and pictures make it seem the zombie will stand on its own. However, it won't. I had to lean it up against the guard wall.All in all, the piece is nice to look at after it has been completed. The details are impressive, the paint and color job is also very impressive. However, it is very difficult to put the bike together and when assembled it may not stay together.If you're thinking off buying this pieces I'd recommend putting the money towards something else Walking Dead. 3Not a solid model, junkIt is cheap plastic which doesn^t fits well. You need a glue to fix the motor cycle It is not a collectible, kinder suprise egg toys are better then this plastic rubbish 2Came used/brokenI was really excited to incorporate this into a model but, when I got mine delivered it came with tape on the outside of the box, so when I opened it I was surprised it was already used. All the plastic packages were slit open and barely taped back up with random pieces in each one and some were already assembled. I got missing pieces and broken pieces on the bike and a broken handle bar so I'll have to glue it. I wasn't warned that it was used/returned either. Then, Daryl can't even stay sitting on the bike, I'll probably have to glue that too. Decent details, but overall it was a disappointment. 2Buy glue with thisThis thing was the most frustrating thing Ive ever put together, no lie. I almost threw it away to make myself feel better. Unless you wanna glue every little part down or never touch the thing once you can somehow get it together and hope that it never vibrates whatsoever, then I wouldn't get it. The bike parts were the worst. I couldn't even use one of the pieces. The grass hardly stays put on the base. I guess my expectations of quality were too high on this one. Shouldve known. The picture looks much better than it does in person. I still think its an okay visual piece once its together, but don't be fooled into thinking you're getting something nice here. If you're on the fence about it and would like a little visual piece to place somewhere, then get it. But believe me you'll understand what I'm talking about once you do. 3He's very skilled with building models and loved the ideaVery flimsy, small, pieces broken when it arrived. I bought this as a birthday gift for my 11 year old son. He's very skilled with building models and loved the idea, right up until he tried to put together. Pretty disappointing. 2A nice, but average collectibleI was a little disappointed with this set. Overall it'd a nice enough piece, however, Daryl isn't very stable on the bike and there is limited detail on his face. The walker also has balance issues and the grass falls out of the little holes if you even look at it wrong. Despite these faults im happy to have it in my collection. I had to glue the fuel tank on because it also kept falling off. Base is typical of the McFarland building sets and assembled with no problems. 4It's nice but it's very hard to fix it if you ...It's nice but it's very hard to fix it if you wanna this so you should be very patient 80% of all the part need to be glued it's very fast to be broken so again be very patient & use glue I give 2 stars only coz the instructions Manuel is not clear and most of the part need to be glued 2DisappointedFor cake toppers for a TWD party, I bought the instertate 85 set that contained Darryl and his bike (and some walkers) as well as a figurine set that contained Rick and some walkers. While the figures are in amazing detail considering how small they are right down to Rick s stance when he s pointing a gun, the actual quality of the building set was lacking. The humans/walkers figures were easy enough to put together BUT all of the blades of grass, and the gas tank to the bike had to be super-glued in because they would not snap in (I watched the Video tips regarding this and it s a load of crock - the parts simply did not snap in). The interstate 35 sign broke off (thankfully at the bottom so I was able to just shove it in the cake). The bike, I m pretty sure was missing pieces as the engine would not stay in, nowhere to snap it in), the tailpipe and kickstands would not snap in (the kickstand would not even fit in the hole) and there was no stand for the bike so I had to lean it up against the guardrail. And Darryl didn t really fit on the bike well. He kept falling off. I even tried super gluing him on, but because he didn t fit well enough, the glue couldn t take. All in all, I made it work and if I had to do it again I probably would but only because this is the only place I could find that had this size/type of figurines. Hopefully the company will take this review to heart and fix the problems instead of putting out a video that makes it seem the fault lies on the builder/erector. And the cake was a hit regardless 3
