These are awesome. My kids and I are always making up ...These are awesome. My kids and I are always making up creative games with them. We like to use them for sand and water, of course. We also like to imagine we're turtles or robots or aliens. We also like to hide things in them and do magic tricks...the possibilities are endless if you know how to use your imagination. Wonderful, open-ended, child-led play opportunities. 5I really wanted to like these toys but they just aren't as great as ...I really wanted to like these toys but they just aren't as great as I had hoped. The biggest issue I have is that my one year old got his finger very stuck in one of the holes! That seems like a major design flaw to me. My older kids spun them around, put other toys in them and then seemed bored by them. They are good quality and nice bright colours but for some reason not a hit at my house. 3I was surprised at all the different ways my kids interact with theseBoth my 6-month-old and 4-year-old love these! If you are on the fence, do get them. I was surprised at all the different ways my kids interact with them. For a toy to be so popular across such different ages is a big win in my mind. I know the price is high for what you get, but they play with these in some combination by itself and with pretty much every other toy in our home. 5Gimmicky Toy (a version of which) You Can Create YourselfI'm the the target customer for this company. I want my daughter to play with "imaginative, open-ended toys" that adults are confused by (because we're so programmed to think about the use of things), but that kids use to develop their creativity and imagination. So I bought this set as well as the little balls (mox?) from the same company. The result?Yes, my daughter manipulated these toys, looked at them, turned them this side and that, but in the end got bored with them sooner than with her regular set of stacking cups and other simple toys that don't make these extravagant claims to justify a higher price tag. Moluk does not have any special qualities that would prompt a child to be creative: you can give your child a paper towel tube, a plastic cup, a basket, etc., and you will get the same result as with these toys. 3Great Versatile Toy for Imaginative YoungstersI got these as an Easter basket item for my son and they have been a favorite toy for almost a year. I bring them with us to restaurants and let my two-year-old use them in a variety of ways: as hats, serving dishes, pretend trucks, pretend bugs. They are great for helping with sorting skills, too, and were one of the first ways I worked with him on sorting. 5OK, but don't expect it to be like the advertisement videosThis seems better for a daycare setting than the average home. On carpet it won't do all the cool spinning. Ours have mainly taken up room and become storage for scooping toys into when cleaning a room. The outside scratches up. If looks interesting, but is overpriced for what it really ends up being used for. My kids have done a lot of imaginative play but not so much with this. If you go for it, I recommend giving kids a lot of time, then if nothing has happened in awhile with it try showing them different ways to use it. Tie the front holes and drag it with objects inside. Put some balls in and spin it. Hide stuffed animals under it, etc. 3Good multi-purpose toyI love these because I can wash them easily, they stack and store easily, and there are no sharp edges to step on.My 6-month-old loves them because she can put them in her mouth.My 3-year-old loves them because she can steal them from the 6-month old in a fit of sibling jealousy. 5He was easily able to grasp it and turn it around in ...Bought these as a manipulative for my 6 month old. He was easily able to grasp it and turn it around in his hand. He liked it for it's novelty but that wore off the same day and he mostly ignores them. At his age, he only enjoyed one at a time and has no need for a whole set. It's not his favorite toy, either. It's easily stored so we'll keep it and see if he grows into them more. Not destined for Goodwill yet. 3Great productLike other reviewers, the first thing my daughter asked was "what do they do?" After I told her that she can use the Bilibos any way she wants to, she did. They've been Barbie chairs, ice skates, stacking toys, bowls, hats, animals, bath toys, etc. My 4 yo and 8 mo old both play with them. The 4 yo puts her full weight on them without an issue and the baby chews on them and bangs them together without damaging them. The Bilibos have held up well. I'm glad I bought them and I love the colors. 5Open ended playWe have an eight month old who doesn t really enjoy toys, she just wants random items from around the house. However, she really likes these! They keep her interest for more than a couple seconds, they are portable and my husband and I enjoy playing with her, with the bilibos.I like that they are an open ended toy, not a one way to play deal. I think she will continue to enjoy them the older she gets because there are infinite possibilities with them.I would highly recommend them. 5
