Customer Reviews

Great price, Great product and Great LessonSAVE, SPEND, DONATE and INVEST 4 basic money choices this bank teaches children how to set goals for each money choice by allowing them to decide what they want to spend their money on. They then put an included sticker with that pic or they can make one with the blank stickers onto the 4 separate slots/tummies.In the box you get a bank, eye stickers (blue, green or brown your child can pick or like my daughter, do two different colors), various goal-setting stickers (she choose bike for saving, fast food for spending, church for donating and college for investing), and a guide on how to get started. We all know money is important and what I love most about this little piggy bank is how it isn't only about "hey honey, put your money in the piggy bank" it's about a life lesson that will hopefully stick with them forever. We all know we are going to spend money on the things we want and when we get older we might even invest it or during tax time donate some of it for the write off so why not teach our kids now how to handle money so in their future they aren't struggling or have credit card debt up to their eyebrows. This little pig was a great way to have a long conversation about where money comes from, earning money, saving money and not spending what you don't have so that one day maybe she will be debt free instead of living paycheck to paycheck. This is a perfect resource for families and while the site says kids under 11. I believe it is great for all teens. My nephew is 17 and I think this would help him realize that Mommy and Daddy are not his personal bank. It's time to get a job kid!I love that the bank is not only set up with dividers in each section but each section has it's own slot to deposit and it's own opening at the bottom to retrieve the money when ready.Great price, Great product and Great Lesson.Disclaimer: I received a complimentary product for my honest opinion. My reviews are 100% honest and true based on my personal opinion not on a company s description or request. No monetary compensation was offered or received. 5Nothing like it (un)fortunatelyThis is so unique and I love that it teache money management principles. However, my first one arrived split in half. The seller was really great about shipping me a new one right away, but I'm really nervous about breaking this one. I wish it felt more durable. I also wish there was an option to leave out the invest category. 4Cute pig to teach kids about money managementGreat piggy bank to teach kids about where their money can go. The pig has 4 slots for Save, Spend, Donate, and Invest, and you can get the money out by opening the bottom of each leg (one leg for each section). So far it has stood up to being dropped on the wood floor a few times and hasn't broken. 5Broken easily.Cracked after the first drop. Of course my kid is going to play with it like it's a toy. Otherwise it's a great idea and works just fine. Just keep in mind the plastic is hard and brittle. 4Love itLove these piggies. They are great for my kids to start learning about money, how to divide it and save it. It also helps them focus on giving too. I wanted them to have a bank that they could actually see into, like this, so they could see that they are putting a little aside for others--to share. This bank is great. Worth the price. 5came cracked and usedI love the idea of this bank--but my bank came cracked and used. Though I ordered a new one, the unsealed box came with a bizarre felt butterfly sticker on it, a quarter of the stickers missing from the enclosed square of stickers, the missing stickers already placed on the bank, and a huge crack along the seam of the bank's belly. Very disappointed. Though plastic and not super durable, if this had been received in the proper condition, I would have rated it four or five stars The damaged bank I received was returned. 1Very hard to get money out of bank!I love the concept of this bank. Great way for children to start budgeting their money. However, my biggest complaint is that it is nearly impossible for my kids (ages 8 & 5 ) to get the money out of the bank! The holes on the bottom of the pig's feet are way too small. This is a design flaw that is very disappointing for $25 I spent on this. I would recommend this product if it weren't for that. 3a penny here, a penny thereI bought the blue and the green "piggy" banks for close friends children. These little banks have separate slots for different "investments". As in "real" life, one has to decide where their money will go, how much, and what kind of return one might get. These little banks are VERY educational about money and its use. Wonderfully thought out savings banks for children 5Great teaching tool and fund for little onesWe bought one for each child and while it is still early days, they love putting money in and as time goes on we will discuss the importance of saving for various reason's. At 3 and 5 it is good to discuss saving in general and in the coming years we will fully discuss the types of savings and let them dedicate funds for certain things. 5How to become a millionaire!Love these banks. Great tool for teaching concept of percentages and basic budgeting. I try to begin early with grandchildren, giving them a dollar in dimes whenever they visit Grandma and Grabdpa. Then 10% (one dime) goes into each of the 3 categories, "save", "donate-tithe", and "invest/equity." The other 70 cents (70%) goes into "spend". It usually doesn't take long for them to grasp it. I also tell them if they do this with every single cent they make, they can probably become a millionaire by age 50. 5
