    Cute little magnets that my 15m old loves!I love these magnets!!! I love them because my 15 month year old loves them! I bought these as a learning aid, I had no idea he'd enjoy PLAYING with these on his own. I have mine on the lower part of the fridge and all throughout the day he plays with them, bringing them to me when I'm not there with him. I tell him what it's called and he runs back to get another one.It is the cutest thing. Very happy with my purchase. 5Cute magnets, may not be a perfect fit for babies.Adorable shapes and prints. Daughters loved them as soon as I opened up the adorable milk carton and loved pulling them off our magnet board. Can only give three stars because my daughters, who are both one, were able to moisten them paper-fronts of the magnets and remove some of the image by chewing on the edges. Putting them away until they are a bit older. 3wonderful!! (contents listing included)these are just wonderful! i am a professional graphic designer and illustrator, and therefore have high standards for products like this. with many years experience in the printing industry as well, i am also very particular about printing/production quality. these are beautifully illustrated and very well made. excellent quality. the images are so great, i wish they showed more of them on the product listing. if it is helpful to anyone, here is what came in our shipment (not sure if they are all the same or if they vary by shipment) : farmer, tractor, goose, duck, adult cow (brown), adult cow (gray), baby cow (brown), donkey, running horse (spotted gray), adult horse (brown), baby horse (brown), adult dog (brown), 2 puppies (one magnet) brown, adult rabbit (gray), 2 baby rabbits (one magnet), gray, adult sheep (white), baby sheep (gray), goat (gray), rooster, hen, 3 baby chicks (one magnet) yellow, adult pig (pink), 2 baby pigs (one magnet) pink, adult cat (gray), 3 kittens in a basket (one magnet) glue, gray, brown, corn (3 stalks, one magnet), carrots (4, one magnet), basket of apples, bales of hay (3, one magnet), seed bag with 3 gray mice (breaking into / eating the seed). this whole set is just adorable!!! recommend! 5Nice quality magnets!These magnets come packaged very well in a nice box that is shaped like a 1/2 gallon milk container. The illustrations on the magnets are very nice as well, they have almost a retro feel to them. They vary in size from an inch to 2 and a half inches, and stick very well to our magnet board. Although the images are glued onto the magnet they have held up remarkably well, (one has a nick on the side from being chewed on). My children enjoy setting up and acting out stories. They have proven to be worth the money. 5very cute animals - but the printing isn't as crisp as in the photos onlineThis is a very nice magnet set and the milk-carton box it comes in is adorable. The quality of the printing on the animals (which are very cute - just not ) just isn't as crisp the photos online suggest -- which detracts slightly from the overall great quality and cute artistry. I wish the colors were a little brighter, but I guess the softness gives the animals a gentleness that they might not otherwise have. I love how there are different versions of the animals. As another reviewer said, many have a mom, dad, and baby to match up with. My 2.5 year old likes it when I pick out a baby and make him "talk" and say "where is my mommy/(daddy)?" and then she searches for the mom (or dad). She likes to make the animals "ride" on the tractor and feed them the apples or hay. When we put them away, I pretend like the top of the box is a hungry mouth and she loves throwing the magnets into the mouth (kinda goofy, but at least it gets her to help a little...I guess). They seem to stick pretty well and I haven't had any peeling issues. If it ever goes for ten bucks, I would grab it. We paid sixteen, and I guess it's worth it for the box and quantity and I think these guys are so much cuter than the Melissa & Doug animals, but still...a few bucks less would have been nice! :) We also have their sweets & treats magnet set and my daughter loves that. 4Great for a 1 year old!I bought these for the baby girl i nanny on her 1st birthday. She needed something to keep her entertained while me or her parents are busy in the kitchen! While having a fun little interactive toy to help teach her some basic words. I was worried about her teething and chewing on these, resulting in ruining them or pieces coming apart into her mouth but this is not a problem at all!! They re super sturdy and the times they make it into her mouth, they didn t get ruined at all. it would have to be more than a few minutes of chewing for any damage to be done :) Plus they are very cute + trendy compared to other options. Worth the price! 5Fun magnets!We purchased these magnets as a distraction for my toddler in the kitchen. He often hangs out while I'm doing dishes and needed something to keep him occupied. These magnets fit the bill perfectly! They are easy to pull off and the solid black back makes it easy for him to know which side to stick on the fridge. The animals come in family groupings (i.e. a rooster, a hen, some chicks) and look very nice. As he gets older, he's starting to want to know about the sounds and names of the animals. I see these as being very educational in the future, but for now, he just has a good time with them. They are also enjoyed by our 2 year-old neighbor, who likes to transfer them from the fridge to the dishwasher and back.The facing on these is paper, so if you have an active teether/chewer, they won't hold up. We established early that these were not to be chewed on and took them away as soon as he started. A few times of that and now he just plays with them. So, as long as you're vigilant, they are a great toy for youngsters. 4These magnets unfortunately double as pencilsWe love them, but I feel like I need to warn other parents that the backs of the magnets basically double as pencils. When I opened the box I noticed black marks on some of the images, and my daughter was kind enough to solve the mystery by drawing on our wall. 4Fruit & Vegetable FunFirst off a correction needs to be made in the product description. It says "Forty 1-3/4" tall wooden pieces per set". This is incorrect, there are 35 pieces in this set (even says so on the back of the box, see uploaded image). Also the sizes vary depending on which fruit or veggie is portrayed, from small pieces like the strawberry at 1-1/8"x1-5/8" or chili pepper at 2-1/4"x5/8" to the largest, the pineapple, at 3-1/2"x1-3/4".Now that being said, this is a great set. The pieces are well built of high density plywood with a full magnetic sheet back and fully laminated surface picture. They should hold up well to normal use although I wouldn't suggest them for little ones who still put things in their mouths. There is a great selection of fruits and veggies. In fact, without a full description of the contents of the package, I had originally looked at the silhouette design on the side of the package and thought there would be repeat pieces. This is not the case; there are 35 different fruits and veggies which I've listed below. Wouldn't recommend for children mouthing things.My two year old has so much fun playing with these magnets. We took these magnets and a small cookie sheet from her play kitchen with us on an airplane ride to keep the little one occupied. She loved pulling out all of the animals and making their sounds. This set kept her occupied for a good 20 minutes at a time, so that is pretty good play value for a little one that would rather be running around. There are some pieces in this set that are fairly small and would present a choking hazard for those kids who are still mouthing things. I would keep that in mind if you are considering getting these for a child who might put them in their mouths. Since my two year old doesn't put things in her mouth any more, we didn't have an issue with the stickers peeling off or worrying about her choking (although we still kept a close eye on her). Overall, my little one doesn't play with or enjoy this magnets nearly as much as I thought she would. I think with time she will like them more. 4
