Egh...This game requires a good bit of playing to develop any sort of strategy.It is very easy to play, but not something I think most people would find enjoyable their first time playing...aka, I doubt people would appreciate the gift as they would get bird shortly. 3Fun for kids & adults. Quick and easy to learn.This game was so quick and easy to learn/teach. My first game was with my 5th graders and within maybe 3 minutes we learned how to play. My students that tried the game enjoyed it, and so did I. It is kind of like a card version of the Stratego board game. It can be played two players or 4 players on teams. 5The "card edition" of Stratego.This was a fun, quick game to play with friends on the go, and VERY similar to Stratego, with a couple different rules.We played a couple rounds and decided to add Another deck of the same colors and the games were longer andas enjoyable. I Definitely recommend it for people of all ages! 5Fun strategic gameWe love to play games in our family. I bought this as a Christmas gift and we played it on Christmas. Play is super easy as it is very similar to playing "war" with regular playing cards. But this game brings in strategy, as you stack your 5 piles of cards in order to protect the crown, and as you decide So what you should know: each deck is enough cards for two players. So the double deck is enough cards for 4 players. Wish I had known that. We had eight players, so we ended up in teams, which was fine. 5Addictive and fun!Scrimish is simple and easy to learn, but there are infinite strategies to apply, making each game you play a unique, nail-biting experience. After opening the deck, it took us about 2 minutes to feel out the rules... Then we played for over an hour! Each game takes between 5 and 10 minutes, and feels like a single battle of a larger war of wits. There's the obvious element of memory to the game, in that you see where your opponent's cards are placed and try to retain that information for the strategy of the current battle. There's also a deeper element of memory, where you analyze how your opponent places cards, and try to use that against them in subsequent battles!Growing up playing classic card games like 'war' and 'slap jack' with my sisters, this new spin on a head-to-head card game experience is nostalgic and fun! 5Great GameQuick, fun strategy game - my 11 year old has creamed me in this several times already. You can play with just 2 players or up to 4 with the decks provided. Great game to bring on a trip - doesn't take up much space and is easy to teach others. I didn t think that was clear in the description. I can imagine kids enjoying expanding this to include more people in the game, but each set should be bought along with a storage tin. Each storage tin holds the two decks of one game of Scrimish. 5not your normal gamebought this for our friends as stocking stuffer Christmas- and have to say for us CARD and GAME lovers this was a NO GO- we love Canasta-SPADES- UNO- and board games but this was just not or cup of tea-- the challenge just wasn't enough for us 4 adults 2
