    Great figure.This is a great, durable, imaginative figure.As another reviewer said, this one makes a "great bad guy"!The sculpt is great, he stands up well, and his paint is durable. Ours visits the sandbox, the bathtub, flies off the bunkbed, and so forth, and he still looks great.I'm not sure his weapons are supposed to be removable, but my kids have popped the weapons out of his hands. His fists have holes, allowing the weapons to slide in and out easily. My boys interchange the weapons between another Papo figure, the Tiger Man, and even some Schleich knights. 5New fan of PapoWe are die-hard Safari Ltd & Schleich fans, so I hesitated to buy this newer company's products, but these figures looked so cool I couldn't resist. These are a perfect size, nice weight, and gorgeous paint job!A plus/minus of these Papo figures is the weaponry: the weaponry is easily removed, which is a plus if you would like to use these without weapons, or switch hands. The minus would be that these should not be left in the vicinity of young children. 5Great quality!My myth and fantasy obsessed son has collected several of these, and my husband and I are always impressed with the quality and detail of them! They are durable enough to be played with, but seriously work great as figures to display. This one is no exception! 5Cool Looking Croc!!This crocodile is amazing. He looks tough and wicked, which is what little boys seem to want. My grandson loved getting this for Christmas and he plays with it all the time. These toys are so amazing! My grandson takes it in the tub with him, plays outside in the dirt and puts them in every houseplant you can imagine. He loves it and they wear like iron!! I will continue purchasing these products and highly recommend them to others. They will literally last a lifetime! 5good deal all aroundThis toy isn't just remarkably detailed, it's HEFTY; it's not some lightweight piece of plastic. I gave it only four stars for its educational value because my school never taught us anything about Crocodile Man, not in history, not in biology or earth science or anything. I wish they had because he's one cool character. I like to think he won the American Revolution single-handedly (single-clawedly?), but he appears to be in medieval attire, so there goes that fantasy. But any kid (and a few of us adults) would love to own this. I mean come on, a vicious reptile with a hammer in one claw and a sword in the other? What's not to love??? 5Well-Made, But a Little Delicate for Young BoysA well-made figurine, but be aware that it is not really well-suited for younger children -- the weapons are separate pieces, permanently affixed to the hands. As you can see in the photograph, the sword hilt is apt to break at the point where it exists the hand. This happened in about a month in my household, and that was probably longer than I should have expected. 4AMAZINGLY REALISTIC FANTASY FIGUREThe figure is wonderfully detailed and realistic. I've never seen a mutant warrior crocodile but I have seen Nile and Saltwater crocs in zoos and this guy looks just like one or the other (albeit with armor and weapons).I'm a 65-year-old child when it comes to figurines, a lifelong lover of animals, and a huge sci-fi/fantasy fan and so when I went searching for new animal figures for my 3-year-old grandson and saw this among the Papo offerings, I had to have it.I'm delighted to say my grandson has inherited my love of animals and realistic figures (apparently it skipped a generation with his dad), but I thought that he might be too young for this line of fantasy animals. I introduced him to it with the mutant ape warrior figure and it's become one of his favorites. Crocodiles are among his favorite animals and so this was a natural. I bought this one as a Christmas present so I can't report on his reaction, but I'm confident it will be positive. I like it so much I'm buying one for myself!Both the war-hammer and the sword are removable and interchangeable. None of the armor is removable or moveable which was not unexpected, but I thought it worth noting here because it seems other customers have some unrealistic expectations, in general, of these figures.The figure is made of a hard and durable plastic that I'm sure will last a very long time of heavy play, but it will not bend. The limbs are not articulated and the stance the croc comes with is the only one you or your child will ever see. Again, this is perfectly fine by me, but these reviews are meant to be helpful and I've seen that some people are disappointed when they buy a Papo figure and they can't pose it in different positions. The weapons are flexible and they seem sturdy, but they've not been tested by me. They are relatively small and can easily be lost though. I would not give them to a child younger than my grandson. He might lose them but he's not going try and eat them and risk choking.This figure isn't priced at a bargain-basement level but in my opinion, it's quality creates value in excess of its cost. If you or the child in your life are anything like me and my grandson, I feel certain that you will not be disappointed. 5PAPO Mutant FigurineGreat construction and materials. Excellent details. Another mutant for my collection... 5look of toyHere is a very great crocodile mutant. He would be very scary if you came up to him in a battle. He is designed to have the best qualities of the animal (teeth, claws and strength) and the best of a man (reasoning).He is designed great! His features, such as skin texture, and his arms and legs standing all come together to work well. His armor is really designed nice I believe he would be on the winning side of any battle. Both my grandsons and I love this new addition to our collection. 5Arrived brokenWe were pretty bummed the sword was broken off when it arrived. I was pretty surprised there was no bubble wrap or insulation around the figure to prevent this from happening. Other than that, it does have great detailing and the papo figures are really nice toys for the price. We will be returning and replacing this one hoping the next one arrives intact. 3
