    you will be the BEST person in the child's eyesMy 6 year old daughter LOVES this set. If you are a parent, you need to be able to invest time in this activity and monitor where the pom-poms end up... If you are giving this as a gift, you will be the BEST person in the child's eyes, but their parents may secretly despise you (so go for it, because who doesn't want to give the best gift!?). I would say that this activity can be moderately messy (as long as the glitter glue is under wraps), and we used our set about 3 times before the pom-poms ran out. 4NiceMy 5 year old daughter "needed" this! It's all she wanted for Christmas. It was very easy to assemble, except for our particular box came with 2 of the same side for the tape dispenser, so we can't hook that up. Unforutnately, within a way-to-short period of time...they were all falling off and i was constantly picking them up all over the house. In other news, they make for great cat toys to relocate to every corner of your house. 2Storage case was a plusDaughter loved this. It does have an excellent concept but I feel it is way over complicated in the set up it has. I don't mean it was complicated to figure out but most of the steps and areas for the painting , tinting etc could have been simplified in a much better way. Not too messy. The case does close up so you can store everything until next use. An added tip is that when you use the glue dots , one might want to double secure the pom poms with something else such as hot glue since more times than not the pom poms come loose with just the glue dots. I feel it is overpriced for what you get and im almost certain that once the pom poms have been all used up that this is not something we would go and get refills for. Pretty much it seems like one of those toys "when its all gone its over". 4My daughter loves this!My 7 year old saw a commercial for this and BEGGED for it for Christmas. This one is much larger and I bought the Variety Pack to give my granddaughter more to work with. This was great fun for her--- but I took another reviewer's advice and purchased some Glue Dots to make the pom pom's stay on. Other reviewers were complaining that they came off easily and was frustrating. These worked great-- no frustration at all!I also went over to Walmart and in their arts and crafts section I picked up some wooden figures: a flat crown, an M (for Maddie), a cat and whatever I thought would interest my 8yr old granddaughter. I thought she could paint, glitter, sequin and Pom Pom them to add to the fun. This part went over fantastic! She is not that into dolls, but is artsy craftsy and has had a blast decorating things and putting the crown and M on her bedroom wall :) 4Fun craftCute product a little hard for my 6 year old to do alone without making a big mess but She had dun. She had wanted it for a while after watching videos online about it and although I had purchased other smaller kits, this was the main piece that she was looking forward to. The station is exactly as pictured and it even folds together nicely so that it can be carried like a handbag. The items are nicely organized in this master station and allows you to make different types of designs for the pom poms. The only issue we had was the white pompoms sometimes didn't get fully colored when we tried to do the tie dye. Other than that, the product came with sticky glue dots that i was happy to see, because glue dots can get expensive. They stuck to all the items we put them on, even sunglasses. My daughter was happy with it and I like how they look. It was fun to play with! 4
