    Awesome kit, get it for making bracelets in a jiffy!My 7YO daughter was struggling with her garage-sale-find bag of bands and crotchet hook. We thought we could make some bracelets and swaps for Girl Scouts. Fun summer activity, yes?Yeah, no... crotchet-hook-only designs are wickedly complicated. So as all good mothers do, I scoured and searched online for solutions. I heard about this set on Pinterest (all hail the Mighty Red P) and thought we could give it a try based on the reviews.It s awesomely easy to make bracelets now. No joke, this set and some bands is all you need to make pretty bracelets. I tried using two fingers to make a fishtail, and they wore out after two bracelets in a row. This little post with two posts is a great design.As for making charms (swaps)... well, that requires the loom itself, most likely. Lol. 5Great for a couple of girls who love to loom!My 10 and 8 year old daughters love this Rainbow Loom hook. It also comes with a mini Rainbow Loom that you can make fishtails on. It has a metal tip that is strong and it is a lot better than the plastic hooks that snap in half. They love to create bracelets and charms with it, I would definitely recommend this hook! We have tried to use a standard loom, read directions, watched videos, and it was just never came together for us. Very frustrating and sad for my child. I received my kit used without the hook and bought this metal hook so I could teach my 7 year old niece how to use the loom. I have put this hook through the ringer, stacking LOTS of bands and pulling the bands quite tight and it has stood up to the pressure. It's comfortable to hold and use. I have not used the small loom that has come with it - I mainly bought it for the hook so I cannot attest to how that works. 4Better than original pick!Only reason this is a four is because I don t know how it will hold up over time. I bought this to replace my daughters original that easily broke. I originally ordered 2 kits 1 for my daughter and 1 for me. My niece saw the kits and wanted 1 and I gave her mine. They both are having fun with the kits. I ordered another one for me. I love how the third kit I ordered,the colors were different from the 1st 2. The 1st 2 were the same the only difference was the glitter glue color. I plan on ordering more. 5
