Poor quality piecesPurchased this puzzle new, still in packaging, and many pieces were bent. It was very difficult to tell for these pieces whether they were the right fit, and now the completed puzzle has areas where the pieces are bowed up, . Additionally, some are separating from the backing.I expected better from Ravensburger, but at least all the pieces were included this time. I absolutely do not recommend their puzzles, and the manufacturer customer service is abysmally slow. 2Super high quality puzzleWe do a lot of puzzles. It's our thing. Yes we are nerdy and yes we are adults. Dont' judge.Regardless, a lot of puzzles come with pieces where the edges are bent or the picture is peeling off on some pieces. Also a lot of puzzles have pieces that don't lock tightly together so it's questionable whether or not some pieces actually really fit together or not. (A term has been created that means forcing pieces to fit together that really don't called "Heathering" as in "Are you heathering again? I think those pieces are heathered together.")This puzzle was by far the highest quality puzzle we've bought in recent years. The pieces are sturdy and covered with a plastic coating making them uber durable. Even the cardboard backing seems more durable than most puzzles and it is a cool blue color, which is a nice touch. And finally, the pieces lock together tightly and precisely so there was no "heathering" to be had. 5Almost perfect except for a missing piece!We really enjoyed putting together the puzzle. It was a hit with everyone on our family weekend in the mountains. Bright colors, fun design, quality pieces. However, we were confused about midway through when we discovered an extra piece. We all voiced our concern that might mean we would end up with a missing piece to complete the puzzle. We were highly disappointed when we neared the end of completion and determined that there was definitely a piece missing. I have contacted ravensburger via their website, I hope to get a response soon and will update the review accordingly. 1Sadly DissapointedTo be honest I m pretty disappointed. I read multiple reviews about the quality of this puzzle and when I unboxed it I noticed quite a lot of dust in the bag AND multiple pieces of the puzzle had lifting of the picture of of the pieces. As I was putting it together I noticed one piece had the picture ripped almost all of the way off. The price was great and the art was fun. But sadly I was disappointed in the quality they claim to have. 1Very enjoyable 1000 piece puzzle, can put together in a few hours.Really enjoyed this puzzle, it is typical Ravensburger quality meaning it fits together smoothly, very little dust in the bag, and great quality image quality. This puzzle is not overly challenging as there are a lot of colors, words, images that are easy to recognize and find from the box art, allowing you to put this together fairly quickly. I was able to put this together in a few hours which is enjoyable for a 1000 piece puzzle. Ravensburger puzzles are a bit more expensive than others out there, but when you get it you will see that it's worth the extra expense. 5Really Fun PuzzleI guess we all look for different attributes in a jigsaw puzzle. For me, I don't want to work one that is all sky and ocean. "Road Trip USA" has bright colors, interesting state icons, and enough words to make it doable but still be plenty challenging. Each piece appeared to be unique - there didn't seem to be any chance of fitting two pieces together that didn't belong.It took us two rainy evenings to put together - 6 people, off and on, in total from 10 to 71 years old. 5Fun Puzzle that is Easy to Start, but then gets more ChallengingI love jigsaw puzzles, but I like variety in my puzzles. Sometimes I want one that I can knock out in a day or two, and other times, I am looking for one that is going to take me a couple of frustrating weeks to complete. This puzzle falls towards the easy side, taking me a long weekend, and some help from friends and family, to finish.The puzzle starts off quickly, with the words on the various signs allowing you to quickly assemble some of the more prominent pieces. However, once those are completed, the puzzle solving slows down. It was a nice blend, not particularly tough, but a bit of a challenge in spots. It was perfect to share with others.When combined with the typical Ravensburger quality, this puzzle is one I consider a 'keeper,' meaning I will hold onto it to do again rather than passing it along to my parents or sisters. Since I don't have all that many 'keepers' you can tell that I think highly of this puzzle. So stop reading about how much I enjoyed it and go buy it for yourself so that you can also enjoy the puzzle time! 5But my disappointment is with Ravensburgers' absolute disregard for a customerReceived this as a Christmas gift. The puzzle was missing 1 piece. I contacted Ravensburger 3 times via their website, but they didn't even have the decency to respond. I am an adult puzzler. I work on dedicated table. There are no kids or pets in the house that might disturb things. I am careful with the pieces. Is it possible that I lost the piece - of course. But my disappointment is with Ravensburgers' absolute disregard for a customer, who up until now viewed them as my go-to brand. Thumbs down, Ravensburger. 1NOT NICE. All the pieces are from the same area ...We purchased the puzzle as a gift. It was finally used, finished and it has five pieces missing from one area. NOT NICE. All the pieces are from the same area - not dropped on the floor - not eaten by the dog - just not included in the box, Very disappointed and would like a refund of the price we paid. 1Missing a pieceWe were extremely careful with the pieces and it really defeats the purpose of purchasing a puzzle to not have all the pieces.
