    Razor Has Done it AgainIt started with the Razor dirt quad for my then four year old son. He loved it and rode it daily. When he turned five, we purchased the Razor MX350 for him to experience the two wheel dirt experience. He loved it and and practiced daily on it. Soon his three year old brother was riding the dirt quad with him. Great outdoor fun and bonding on well built, durable machines. About four months ago, my now four year old asked if he could ride his brother's dirt bike. I obliged, and he hasn't stopped riding his big brother's MX350 since. I was happy my older son shared his bike, but it created the need to find a replacement for him. I researched and debated between the SX500 and the MX650. Both bikes are similar in weight and size, but the determining factor was the bigger motor on the MX650. We purchased it and he has been on it for a month now. He hasn't stopped smiling. It is stout and strong. It fits my son perfectly. I look forward to him enjoying it for many years to come. The product is worth its's price tag. The smiles and good times it provides are priceless. Thank you Razor. 5Is it for kids or adults? BOTHI bought this for my daugher's 8th birthday. She had been obsessed with dirt bikes.Before delivery to 8 yr old, I had to test drive it to ensure it's stability & braking.I'm in my mid 30's and weigh 180 lbs. This motorcyle took off. It has torque from 0-100. Suspension is great. Braking is great. The throttle is variable per input meaning you can give a pinch and it will only go a pinch, or you can give full throttle and it will launch all the way to top speed. My 8yr old drives this thing full throttle and has no issues, even as far as starting to do stunts like Pee-Wee Herman from the classic 80's film.Battery life: around the neighborhood seems to be 1 hour+ around the neighborhood.Up-hill, no issue with a child - struggles with adult, but with efficient maneuvering, will make it.Speed: 17mph flat ground - adult or childOff Road: fully capableI have a 2 year old boy as well. He loves riding it with me when possible. That makes 205 total weight and no issues what so ever. 5AWESOME FUNBought 2 of these for my kids. Had them for 2 weeks now. They are great. To show you the great battery life...I'll give you my experience when I(190lbs) ride the bike with my 6yo 40lb daughter on same seat (..so worst case scenario at 230lbs) :). Rode them as much as 7 miles on somewhat hilly roads without running out of battery. After battery turns yellow..to low..i have been able to go at least 10 more minutes or about a 2 miles or so. The battery seems to last for a very long time. They say 40 minutes continuously...which (no one really does) translates into an hour and a half of fun with stops etc. I also have 2 boys are 6 and 8 years old. They both ride the bike without any problems. Took the 6 year old a couple of tries but he is now perfectly comfortable with it. I was worried because the bike is heavy at over 90 lbs, but they are stable while riding and the kids never have to deal with the weight. My 6 year old daughter is afraid to ride it so we ride together...so far bike had held up.Negative: Front suspension and front disk brakes are noisy. They are noisy no matter the weight(230lbs or 50lbs) on the bike.Overall, kids love them around the house. Adults can use them if you want to go on mini trips...one for the adult one for a child. You will look goofy but will have as big a smile as your kid while riding.. Soon I'll have to buy another for my daughter. :)SPEED: Clocked it at about 18 mi/h on flat street, with 190lbs on the bike. My kids pass me easily probably getting around 20mph 5Quiet, Easy to Use, Amazing!!!!So Happy! My husband wanted gas, for kids. I don't want any more loud gas smelly things. So we compromised on this one. Our neighbor got one too. You must charge it for about 12 hours for the first charge! We did, neighbor didn't . We got about 30 more min of riding time. Then charge it 8 hours, there after. Assembly is easy too! We have a local, hilly, dirt place for kids to ride. Ours did just as well as other gas ones. Best part is. We can go after 8:00, whereas gas powered ones can''t b/c ours doesn't make any noise. Doesn't bother one neighbor that my kids are out there. My one complaint is...I wish we could order a spare battery that would be easy to interchange. I called Razor, they said "It's not good to be swapping battery" Other than that, Awesome. We are ordering another one for their Birthdays. 5GREAT purchase!We've had this for nearly three years and it has been through the woods, mud, rocks, gravel, water - left out in the rain, sat through snowstorms and is still running quite well! We haven't had to replace anything - even the charger has held up wonderfully! Highly recommend as it's very durable for even the most damaging of little boys! 5Good for older kidsI got this for my 9 year old. He is 90ish pounds and had wanted a ride-on for a long time. Most ride-ons are for smaller kids/toddlers and the weight limit would not work for him. This one fit the bill perfectly. It goes surprisingly fast for an electric ride-on. The charges lasts 45 minutes to an hour, which is just about the time he is usually ready to stop. It is very heavy. He has had a few wrecks on it, and there hasn't been any damage to the bike at all. It seems very well built. I'm pleased. 5Best electric dirt bike on the market!!Amazing electric dirt bike!!! We considers every electric dirt bike out there, including the smaller and slower Razor models, but settled on this one based on reviews and that it went on sale amazingly cheap!!My son is only 7, but on the bigger size for his age, so it was hard to decide which model would fit him well. His friend had the small mx 350 and it was obviously too small, but this bike said its meant for kids age 16 and up (!!!).After seeing it in a store, it was obvious how small this would be for a 16 year old. It's great for my son and I can see him fitting on it for quite a while. But, it's big enough and strong enough that his father can still ride it every now and then too, so it's not impossible for an older rider.It does have power though and is noticeably faster than the mx350, but he quickly learned how to handle it and never had any issues controlling the dirt bike.Overall, it's an amazing dirt bike for an amazing price - especially if your rider would need you to buy a gas station of your own if they had a real gas dirt bike!!The recommendations for height and weight are safety measures on the company's part, but you know your kid better than they do and can be able to judge if they could handle the power and size.I would post a picture but he is never still long enough to be any more than a blur! Lol 5Right size for 10 yr olds and upBought this for my 10-year-old. The reviews on the 350 and 500 models are absolutely correct; those are too small for the recommended age groups. The 650 is perfect, not only for my 4'10" kid, but even for grown-ups. It is so much fun, I'm resisting the urge to sneak ride it ... more. I was also worried about whether my kid could handle it because he's not particularly strong, but he tipped it over in the grass twice while learning, and since then has had no problems whatsoever. Love this thing! We're using a 12-hour timer switch (https://www.amazon.com/Wall-Timer-Switches/b/ref=dp_bc_5?ie=UTF8&node=6291360011) to prevent overcharging, so we don't have to worry about killing the battery. Freakin' SWEET! 5If I can just keep the kids from stealing it!!!Yes, I know it's a kids toy, but I bought it to haul my 6'3", 185 lb carcass around my six-acre worksite. I know I look ridiculous, but it is faster and more comfortable than those stupid stand up "hoverboards" everyone else is riding. The boss doesn't care that I ride it inside because it is electric. The front wheel is a little lopsided, but I will eventually fix it. My only other complaint is the seat is a little inadequate for the size of my rear end, but I expected that since this thing is made for 12 year-olds! Thanks to camelcamelcamel I got it for $350. 5Still running great after almost two years of use!The first bike received was a dud because it wouldn't charge properly and the power would cut-off during a turn. Thank God for Amazon's amazing return service. The second bike is perfect and has been working great for my 9yr old, then 8yr old,for almost two years now. My son's been rides this bike at least once a week on a dirt road with pot holes, bumps and ankle high water. It has been one of those gifts that he keeps on using and does not get bored of in a day or two. I would advise adult supervision when your young kid is riding this bike on the sidewalk because it is really that fast and they can easily injure themselves and other people that are sharing the streets/sidewalk. This bike can be one of the best present for an 8yr old and a gift they will remember. 5
